For God is one; and there is but one Mediator between God and humanity, Yeshua the Messiah, himself human. 1 Timothy 2:5
If you put into the gateway bible the word lawyer you come up with one verse which only speaks of a man who was a lawyer. There is nothing about the son of God being a lawyer on your behalf and representing you and getting you off for your sins from the Father. Not one single verse even comes close to supporting this doctrine. The only verse is the one, the saved by grace, lawyer preaching uses, the one above. But it says mediator, not lawyer. And note the first part of this verse says For GOD is one.
The son only does what his Father shows him to do. The Son NEVER goes against the Father and supports men in their sin, NEVER! Instead the son is one with the Father abd we are also to be one in Spirit and truth, because the true worshippers worship in Spirit and truth.
Yeshua made this statement to me, one of those zingers and to the point. He said “why does a righteous man who does everything right, need a lawyer?”
The doctrine of Yeshua is what I bring, not the man made trash they are feeding in your mind and body. Yeshua is the bread of life, he will feed you truth, and in that truth you will be righteous, there is no unrighteousness in him, only righteousness.
The Lord Yeshua has shown me how I am wrong over the years and showed me how to do things right. Now I do things right because I heard him and obeyed what he told me to do. Even when many times it made no sense.
He reminded me of my move to Baja Mexico, when I did not want to move. To me it made no sense, I did not speak Spanish and I knew no one, and I was leaving everything behind. But Yeshua kept saying one word to me. “Move!” So in the end I obeyed and moved. And with that move he opened my eyes to many things, and I know if I would not have obeyed, I would not have had my eyes opened like this. Not to mention the blessings he has bestowed on me since my move.
When I left Iowa, I left an ex wife who was extremely mean and vindictive, taking me to court 11 times in a few years (I have not been in court because of her since). I left in debt, and a girlfriend who I had a lot of problems with. I left extreme hot in the summer and extreme cold in the winter. I left a lot of things that were not pleasant, but somehow I felt comfortable and good in those conditions and did not see a reason to leave. I saw it the opposite as to why would I leave this life? How crazy I was???

Now I look back at what I left and where I am today and am amazed. Amazed at why I thought my life was so good in Iowa and why would I leave it? And amazed as to the way it turned out some 16 plus years later I am truly blessed, and cannot think of one aspect of my life which would have been better off in Iowa, not one!
But back to the point which is righteousness. No matter how good my life is here in Mexico compared to what I left and as much so what I see happening in the US that does not affect me. It is nothing compared to what Yeshua did in me to change me. He showed me his truth which set me free. I want to live in that truth, in his way, and I welcome his light into my soul instead of ignoring the light.
This is the point the Lord made, if you seek his light and live in it and then become righteous, because honestly there is no way to live in sin and darkness if you seek and find the light. The right produces righteousness, there is no unrighteousness in the light, truth and way. It is not possible.
So when you walk in this light you do NOT need a Lawyer.
One other thing about this and how people do not even see the lies they live in. These same men tell you that when the Father looks down from heaven at you, the son, this man named Jesus Christ somehow blocks your sin so the Father does not see it. First of all;l there is nothing biblical about this, nothing at all. But let’s say it was for arguments sake.
So if it were true, and the Father does not see your sin, why do you need a lawyer? If you broke the law and no one ever found out about it, who would press charges, why would you need a lawyer?
The saved by grace, lawyer doctrine makes as much sense as the catholic doctrine about a dead person being in heaven, but at the same time we need to do masses for them (which cost money) and to pray and get them out of purgatory and into heaven.
Do you people not pay attention to your doctrine and what it is telling you and how twisted or ridiculous it is? As a man of God who looks at things logically and not as a man of the flesh, these doctrines are ridiculous.
With that said, if you want to be ridiculous and follow them, go ahead. The Father is happy to send you the great deception so you believe these lies.
The other thing with this is how the Lord sees you versus how you see you. In the eyes of God this is evil, when you think you are good and deserving. You think your sin is OK, and you are worthy of salvation, when God is sitting there and showing you a “WAY” to live your life where you will stop the sin and dysfunction in your life, and instead of listening and then doing what he shows you. You claim you have a lawyer in Christ so you can keep sinning. You take on a belief that Yeshua is not strong enough to defeat satan and sin in your life.
I have to side with God on this, I see it as evil also. That you are so blind and do not want to see the truth because it shows you just how bad you are. So you ignore it and live a normal sinful life in the flesh while pushing this grace/lawyer doctrine to make you comfortable in the sin.
God wants to give you everything, and you ignore him and seek only what is in it for me. And God would give you more than anything you can imagine with the “whats in it for me” but he does it in a different way. A way where you seek his truth and way, and make the necessary sacrifices to allow him to work in your life.
I left everything when I left Iowa, family, friends, my whole life was there for some 40 years. I knew nothing else.
Now after 16 plus years here in Baja, I feel the same. My life is here in Baja and I would never move back to Iowa, unless the Lord said so. I really do not know why I was so against the move, if God would have shown me what he was going to do in my life if I obeyed, I would have packed my bags and got in my car the same day. But he didn’t. He left me thinking it was going to be miserable, I saw myself poor, broke, alone and as a missionary. But he did the opposite with me, he gave me the most beautiful and sexy wife, three kids, a career which was amazing both to make money and work with some great people, some even that were sports stars and movie stars. I made more money and saved more money than I ever imagined. In ten years I went from being in debt to being able to not even have to work and debt free.
When I grew up I used to watch the tv show The Lifestyle of the rich and famous. I honestly live that these days. Here in Mexico because of what we accumulated we are in the top .2% of the wealth here. Yes, higher than the top 1%. We live in front of the ocean with views that I would argue would beat anywhere in the world, they are spectacular. I get private dolphin shows, sometimes seals and whales. The sunsets are the best…
And remember this is from obedience to God. There is no other explanation for it. All the glory goes to him, I just get to live in that glory. But also keep in mind, I went through a lot of turmoil and tribulations to get to this point. It was not that one day I decided to obey, and the next I was married with kids and money in the bank and my debt gone. I also was shown my sinful dysfunctional life that I had to change to get to this point. It was not fun, but in the end it was more than worth it, especially knowing that as long as I stay in the Lord, I will spend eternity with him in heaven.
Which is another lie, this once saved, always saved doctrine. As said in John 15:4 “
Stay united with me, as I will with you — for just as the branch can’t put forth fruit by itself apart from the vine, so you can’t bear fruit apart from me.”
The point is if you are not apart of him, you will not bear good fruit (which if you follow the doctrine of men instead of God, you are not united with him). As it continues Yeshua says in verse 6 “Unless a person remains united with me, he is thrown away like a branch and dries up. Such branches are gathered and thrown into the fire, where they are burned up.”
Are you united and do you stay united with Yeshua? Or are you believing some other doctrine? Maybe the one where you have a lawyer against God’s righteousness?
