To start what the Lord is showing me, I want to make the point you should know and understand by now, which is the Lord is always showing us things through our daily walk, people we encounter and talk with. Events or things we deal with. Dreams and visions, time alone or time with other people. Basically anything you do the Lord is in them. The question is do you see and hear him in your life?
So with this in mind, the Lord showed me (again) things from my past regarding my oldest daughter who had a short term relationship with me, and how when he r mom found out it stopped. And how much dysfunction is in her life which makers her weak, and keeps her weak. Maybe she has changed as I have not seen nor heard a word from her or about her for a few years now. My hope is she has changed. Because the way she lives life when we were spending time together was not good at all.
So here is the main message or point. Because both my wife and sister ganged up on me on this one. And probably 99% of anyone reading this would also say I am wrong. But am I or is the people of the world who look at their feelings and the feelings of others over the truth in the Lord? The world says I am wrong, it teaches us to think like that. The Lord reminded me of the old movie Bambi with the little rabbit thumper. Who said “if you do not have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all.”
Well, the Lord did not get killed because he did this one. Nor did any of his disciples. They were all killed because they remained in the truth and called anyone and everyone out who was not in the truth but practicing darkness, unrighteousness and sin.
My wife and sister where telling me how I should not have said anything in my writings about her and her problems which are self-inflicted. I watched her on public TV lie about me and our relationship in order to get the bachelor to feel sorry for her and like her. She was manipulating him or trying to. Something her mom did all the time and the main reason we did not stay together.
Here is the funny part about this when you know truth and you see what happens when you try to ignore the truth in favor of pleasing a family member or friend or business associate…. We think we are doing them a favor to pretend and lie on our own behalf and pretend it is OK behavior to just remain in the relationship (which in this case would not have happened anyways, it ended before I wrote anything). But this idea of don’t say anything at all is really wrong, although we see it is good or right. Political correctness does not want to offend anyone and the world sides with it over truth and the Lord.
Because her is the problem, when we do not say a word and just go along with the lies and sin, it comes back on us. And it does nothing to help the other person. If my daughter would listen to me, and change and seek the Lord he is gracious enough to clean her up and fix her. She can find the right guy for her if she would stop manipulating and lying and causing drama. I see everything that is of this world and satan behind the curtain running things. As the problem, but he has us thinking and believing the things like the message from Bambi is spot on and godly. But is it?
Many times when I get in deep conversations with my wife about things like this where she thinks I am wrong and the problem. I ask her where in the bible does it support we are supposed to only say nice things to people and if they are in sin and dysfunction pretend like they are not? Or any bible verse which supports family over the Lord and his truth?
My sister spoke up and said Jesus would never say anything like that, to which I said really? Have you not read the things he said to people, like the Jewish leaders when he said “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” John 8:44-47
There are many others, but it makes the point, the Lord spoke hard and difficult things to everyone including the disciples and his mom. They did not kill Yashua because he kept his mouth shut at times and said nothing because it wasn’t nice. They killed him and the profits and disciples because they spoke truth the people did not want to hear. But at the same time the people need to hear because the truth changes them so they do things correctly and in righteousness. And this heals them, makes them whole and strong. Instead of weak and crying and in pain. We do not understand or get it that how we think is everything. If we are complaining and crying about everything instead of being grateful and in peace, no matter or circumstances. Or pushing our own agenda over the truth of the Lord, which is going to be a lie because it comes from satan himself. We get what we sow and deserve.
Back to my sisters comments about Jesus, to which I quoted the verse to her because she said he never spoke thought like that. I also said, have you ever read the bible or just what the catholic church tells you on Sunday? She did not answer which I knew she wouldn’t because I know she never reads the bible and her whole understanding of “Jesus” is based on what her church teaches about him.
I would invite anyone to show me a verse or saying of the Lord which was not hard, direct and certainly politically correct? Or any of the profits or disciples or even the Father when he spoke.
God is love, but our idea of love is not the same as God’s. They are night and day, dark and light different. How we come up with this god they preach in the church system which fools most people is beyond me. It fooled me for 40 plus years. I remember being in a catholic school learning their doctrine and never once reading from a bible. Learning stuff which is completely the opposite of what is written in the bible, and opposite of what Yashua will teach you. Keep in mind it is not about a book called the bible but about the son of the Father God, Yashua and his truth. Knowing him and obeying him into all truth.
When I speak with my wife same thing, which is where in the bible does it say what you are telling me? Many times I say that to her, which she argues with me but cannot even give me one. Now again it is not about the bible as your word, but the Lord will always teach with the bible, it is his text. Where when satan speaks and convinces you of things, it is not in the bible.
The funny thing to me is how we push this political correctness and not offending people over truth which sets you free? And we make this the doctrine of god over the truth? And how we do not see how it keeps us in sin and bondage? We like a god who is favorable with us, is OK with our sin and loves how we protect and comfort our family and friends over obeying his truth. Family comes first.
But the true living God the Lord Yashua is not like that at all. He wants to pull you out of the dysfunction of the family and to a higher level of living. The level you must achieve in this lifetime in order to spend eternity with him. Because this is the main thing. If we could still get to the Kingdom of God while pushing political correctness and placing our family and friends and feelings of the people over Gods will and way. Then it is not as big of a deal. It would only be about living a good life instead of one with problems which keep us crying and complaining about things. And we would still get into heaven in the end. Unfortunately this is what most believe, but it is a lie from the father of all lies.
The two go together, we must choose God and his truth over political correctness and the feelings of other people. We must choose to speak boldly to disciple the nations instead of not saying anything at all because it is not nice and will hurt peoples feelings and they will hate you because of it. We ignore what Yashua said “The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.” John 7:7 y 15:18-20 ““If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.”
All these verses show me clearly to expect this from the people including your own family and friends. Yet it is so frustrating because they will not listen. Not many listen actually, it seems human nature has its own agenda and if the theology does not fit in that belief it is wrong even though the person cannot come up with even one things from the bible to support it, nor can they say with truth and confidence this is what the Lord showed me. Because deep down they know they have nothing to base it on. They argue from what the world tells them and not from what the Spirit tells them and shows they using bible verses.
And again if it was just us arguing doctrine and we all go to heaven in the end, then great, no big deal. But the doctrine of the Lord says it is required so it is a big deal. It is working out your salvation or not.
