He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. Titus 1:9
The Lord showed me a short little parable, that the men teachers and their religions is like going to a buffet. We can go and pick and choose what we want to believe, and as long as it is under the idea of a man named Jesus Christ and we call our selves “christian” then we will be good or OK, and of course we will be in heaven.
But the quality is terrible, they do not buy fresh organic produce, nor do they prepare it with the highest quality oils or cooking ways. Normally it comes out of a can. The Lord reminded me of one time in a pizza restaurant, walking by the kitchen and seeing a bunch of cans full of pizza sauce. When we make pizza at home, we make our own sauce from fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, spinach and other natural ingredients and spices. It normally does not end up red like the canned version. We also make our own dough from scratch. The taste and quality is superior. It makes it hard to go out to eat.
As an example, the other day we went to a buffet for Chinese food. It made most of us sick, my daughter throwing up from it. I kept asking why we were eating their? I did not want to in the first place ut the kids choose it for their end of school year celebration.
Which this example helps illustrate the point, when we choose to cooperate because that is what the other people want, even when we know it is making us sick, but we do it anyways. We pay the price. I made a strong point afterwards to this exact message, was it worth eating there as the quality and taste was poor and most of us got sick.
So the part to compare to your salvation is that, we go pick and choose what we want to believe, with most of us picking some sort of grace doctrine where this man Jesus Christ died for your sins and all is now good. This doctrine is like eating only from the desert bar, it taste great but really makes you seriously sick. If all you eat is sweets and sugar you will end up with some sort of serious health condition like diabetes, cancer, heart issues… But so many people these days load up on the foods which they like the most, but also where most of those foods are what is killing us. Just like the doctrine, they load up on the ones easiest to accept, which keep us in sin and dysfunction and then cry about it when the calamity comes, having the poor little old me syndrome.
Life is simple, we must keep it simple. Learn to hear and obey God in every point. That is his doctrine. If you do that you will learn to eat right and have good health, and feed on the body of Yeshua and have good Spiritual health. If you obey him he will make all your life come into subjection to him and then it will turn out good. Whatever you choose to disobey will affect you in a bad way, and it is also what will keep you out of his Kingdom.The Christian
