Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:11-12
There are a few things about really following Yeshua, the Lord that are difficult. Like the verse above. Keep in mind the Lord is speaking of men who are supposedly of God, the Pharisees and other Jews. In those days it was not like today where we have a hodge podge of people from all over the world with all kinds of different views. The Jews were a nation, a place, a religion. There were no other religious beliefs in Jerusalem. So he was speaking to the religious people who did not understand who Yahweh was and what he expected.
The old saying “the more things change the more they stay the same.” It really fits here, because it is still the same. We have today 1,000’s of “christian” religions as well as the Jewish religion and of course Buddhist, Islam, Muslum… And all of them have their lies discussed as being truth according to them. And of course there are also the atheist and others who might believe there is a God but do not care to know him or even go to a religion to find out more.
There has been war between the religions for years, all the way back to when the Hebrews took over the promised land. That has not changed. But the “christians” support the Jews, and the Islams hate them both and want to kill them all. But the few true believers, the ones like me who know the Lord and obey him. We are persecuted and ridiculed by everyone, all beliefs.
A similar new ongoing thing is the way people are acting these days. Today my wife had a guy come up to her window when she was in traffic and ask for money, when she said no, he threatened her, saying he just got out of jail and she was going to give him some money. It ended up with nothing happening, but she was concerned for a short period until she could move.
I also told of the guy a few days ago who called me stupid and really cussed me out simply because I was backing up really slow and did not see him. I still shake my head about it in disbelief. But that is not the point, the point is he was crazy.
Also yesterday my wife had another real estate agent tell her how she was unprofessional as was our seller and her lawyer, all because she told us to set up an appointment tomorrow, so we did and when we told her what time she then said she could not make it. How do you tell someone to set a time and then set up another appointment and then tell you that you are unprofessional?
The point is I do not get people these days. I do not remember anything like this even just 20 years ago. And the craziness is accelerating ever since the lockdowns. I really believe the shot has stuff in it making people delusional, if not maybe something they are putting in the water or food???
Something is up because people are getting crazier by the day. And the funny thing is the same verse mentioned a few days ago keeps coming to mind, How you judge is what you are. I paraphrase. People know they are the ones in the wrong, but they try to pass it on to the other person, they twist it. It is not a new thing, my ex wife was the best at that one, and obviously they did it in the days of the Lord. But I have never seen it in so many people like today. The Lord said “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.”
One other thing that keeps going through my mind, over and over. It is regarding what the Lord said about the end of times. “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
I am watching all the things going on these days, not only what is written above. But all the world events, like the UK mandating a digital ID and arresting law abiding citizens who speak out about anything the government is doing, and about illegals. The wars and rumors of wars. We are at a point where WW 3 could happen in the next minute. Everything is lining up for it. We have robots and AI taking over almost everyone’s job. We have debt levels at unheard of amounts without escaping the serious problems coming from that. Many are already feeling the pinch and it is barely hitting. We have students getting out of college with 100’s of thousands of dollars in debt and no jobs to be found. No money to keep social security or medicare going. I can go on and on, with state and local government issues and bad infrastructure… All these problems are coming to head all at the same time. We basically are at a point where anyone who does not have, never will and will be a slave (they already are but not like what is coming).
And probably the worst thing is we have no way to rise up to defend ourselves anymore. A militia can not stand up to an army with drones, tanks, missiles, intelligence… In the old days you could stand up if the government got out of line, today there is no way. And it will get worse, as robots start being mainstream. They have no emotions, they will defend unrighteousness because that is what they will be programmed to do.
I am painting a hopeless picture. For me I do not care, but my kids are another story. But then if it is the end, we all only have a few years till it is all over. It will be a really tough time, nothing ever seen like it. Which makes me wonder, will it get worse than even now? Because to me it is really getting bad. I have not even dug into what the cartel are doing with just walking up to people and taking their kids from them. Or just simple shot outs, there was another one today in Rosarito just before my wife passed by. Ironically I saw one of the cars fly by. It was a funeral car, looked like it went through a war and the driver flew through a stop light honking his horn. It was only a few years ago my wife passed by where a serious shoot out happened and one of the cartel’s sons got killed. They arrest the cartel guy at the hospital and right after the cartel started blowing up cars and vans until they release him. The whole thing with taking kids is about the same thing, they said they will keep taking them until they release some of the head cartel guys.
The cartel violence is at an all time high, as is all the wars and rumors and just people hating each other for no reason, except to demand their own ways. Even when they are wrong.
And the funny thing is the Lord expects us to remain in righteousness no matter what happens around us. And expect to be ridiculed and even put to death because of him. Expect it and be OK with it.
As crazy as that sounds, I am OK with it. Because I know this world and life here on earth is short and is only a testing ground for what is to come. Those who keep their focus on the Lord and obey him unto righteousness will have their names written in the book of life and enjoy eternity in paradise. Those that don’t still go through the same stupidity we are going through, but without peace in the Lord and with no salvation. This is the atheist as well as fake religious people who think they are saved because of their religious belief system.
The blindness amazes me, and I want to feel sorry for those blind people, but I cannot. The Lord says not to, because we all have the opportunity to repent and turn to God. But also because they will not listen and instead insult you and some want to kill you. As said before I have had death threats.
