It always amazes me how God works and makes things all come together to make his points. This was the verse of the day, but it supports our thanksgiving conversation last night. My wife had two brothers and her mom over, plus one wife and kids. They all speak in Spanish with each other, and I understood most of what they were saying and spoke in mostly English back and had some translate, my mother in law (swegra in Spanish) does not speak English.
I do not recall exactly what was being talked about at the moment I spoke up. But I asked if I could say something, so I did. And it was about giving thanks for God is Good. Many times I have written about how blessed we are, and how I am overwhelmed with his blessings. Mostly the gifts of the Spirit, but even with the worldly blessings. I made the point about where we live and the views and heights up we are. And how Spiritually it is the same, I feel so high up and looking down on it all, seeing things I never saw before.
I spoke also about how Cinthya was also on the same path now and how our relationship is growing so much because of it. This was important because one brother just went through a divorce (sort of because they were never married but lived together for 15 years and have 2 daughters. He is going through some big issues, self inflicted and a lot of the conversation was towards him, we even had a short conversation alone outside.
The first part however was correcting him on many things, he kept bringing up going to church as the answer, which I made it clear it is not. And that what we were doing with our conversation is the true church. But mostly I made it clear we must repent and change and stop sinning. He argued and said “thats your opinion” to which I said not its not, it is of God. He expects it.
Which makes a BIG point about the religions we follow, like he was speaking of. They tell you lies like that to fill their seats, and we believe that lie and live like it is OK because of it. The modern theme is no one is perfect and never will be, so just accept the grace they preach.
And then they wonder why they have deep darkness and problems in their life. I made it clear it is not of God nor is it biblical, there are all kinds of verses that speak of not sinning, which have been covered many times, and will make for a very long post if we revisit them again here.
Later, when we were outside talking, I asked him how old he is, he said 40 which was interesting because that was about the age I went through all my trails, and they are similar to his. The main one being the fight to destroy the strong holds on him, which is partying and sex, same as mine. He spoke of being sick inside of it, and I told him so was I, almost to the point of when I fell short and did it, I almost wanted to throw up.
I explained to him how we have to fight the good fight, make a determination we will not go there again. But mostly to seek the Lord when the temptations come, and I told him my story of my dark time of fighting the demons and calling on Yeshua who then took me out of the darkness, it was the last time I ever felt the need to get drunk and find a woman. The demons and satan just do not have that power over me anymore, thanks to God.
I told him he cannot do it alone, he must call on Yeshua and go to him when he answers, fighting the demons. He sees the demons as did I at that time. And still see from time to time around me and hear them sometimes. If you do not, two things. Do not think it strange and I am some type of crazy man. Because they are real and around us and in many of us. I had to be set free, and was by Yeshua. Second, we need to know who they are and how they work in order to defeat them, and not pretend like they do not exist. They want you to ignore them and pretend like they do not exist so they can keep causing problems in the background. Interestingly enough it is the same with the elites who control this world, they want you to pretend like they do not exist and are not in control, but then their teacher is satan.
I not only explained these things to him, but also prayed for him and keep praying for him. But he seemed to understand the truth.
Which brings me back to what I said about the church system. The real church, who was us because where two or three are gathered in my name there I am, says the Lord. Because his church system is lying to him which then keeps him in sin and with no ideas of how to defeat that sin because they do not know the one who can set them free from it or how Yeshua really works. Exactly like it is written, “they have a form of Godliness, but deny him his power…”
Don’t deny him his power, seek him and his power and you will see might works done in your life. Which brings me back to the original point of giving real thanks and praise to the Lord for all he has done for us and what I have achieved in my life because of him.
Because the other part of this is he also shows me back in my day when I did it “my way” not his. And the problems I had, the depths of the sin and dysfunction and darkness in me. Exactly like my brother in law. I do not know that darkness anymore, but I also passed through much or all of what he is passing. It is not like I was born holy and lived the way God wanted me to from day one and he has always blessed me. I also went through my prodigal son days. We all do, but the vast majority of the people never repent from those days and think it is just a part of life and remain there, never knowing Yeshua and his power. We all have fallen short of the glory of God, but no where is it written we will always stay there like they preach.
I also made it clear as written in Matthew 23, you only have one teacher, the Lord…
My other brother in law and sister in law who were here with us, they have been struggling a lot with their marriage. So in one way it seems cruel to make the point of how blessed we are, they can see it without putting it in their face. However I did pray about if I should say anything before speaking up and the Lord made it clear to do so. It was put on my mind from him and not of my own. And then he reconfirms it with this verse today.
But the main point made to them as well, is the struggle Cinthya and I had and overcame, and still overcome daily. That is not an easy path, but it is worth the struggle to achieve and anyone can achieve it. We just have to seek the truth in Yeshua and then obey him when he speaks, and expect him to be there when we are in over our heads and cannot defeat the devil and his demons by our own efforts. We really cannot do anything worthy of our own efforts. My efforts to achieve what we have achieved are all in obedience to the Lord. They are his ways not mine, but in doing it his way, the yoke is easy, the burden is light. Compared the heavy darkness I used to carry and my brother in law carries around now.
I told this couple that the secret or key is you both have to be one with Yeshua individually, and if you are then you will be united as one in him, both with the same ideas and without problems. The problems in your relationship come because one or both (normally both) are following their own ideas of right and wrong and satan is in the middle of this causing problems pushing you apart.
Everything comes back to this one point, make yourself one with the Lord and then everything else takes care of itself. Any marriage or relationship is salvageable, “IF” you both do it his way. But most keep going down the same path they always did, making the same mistakes, doing the same sin, hoping something will change and it will come out OK, but they always get the same results. You reap what you sow, right?
Why do we believe we can keep sowing bad seed and expect to bear good fruit? The church system teaches us the opposite, it expects us to keep sinning and doing the same thing, although some say they do not teach this way, they do and are lying to themselves. Instead of telling people to truly repent and seek the help of the Lord so he changes you and you no longer sow bad seed but instead good seed. They teach acceptance of the bad fruit because we all have bad fruit and always will.
But that is not of God, he does not accept bad fruit in his kingdom, and deep down inside neither do we! We expect good fruit (or if selfish the kind of fruit we expect even if not of God). This is where the problems come from, and why we remain in the sin, and have the problems we have. Our doctrinal beliefs are all wrong and it feeds our sinful nature and makes us to sow bad seed, getting bad fruit.
But when we repent and start doing it the way of the Lord, by hearing him and obeying him, sowing good seed. Then you will bear good fruit also in him. And then you will find your life is really amazing, and the decisions you make are incredible.
To give an example of how it played out in our worldly life and wealth. Three big reasons for the wealth and success. First was moving to Mexico and then getting into real estate. Because of the cost of living here being so low, and making good money in real estate, and then buying many properties and selling some for nice profits. I got into it at exactly the best time and remained disciplined to invest the profits instead of spending it foolishly on trips and cars and boats… Like in my old life.
The reason for this was obedience to the voice of God. Because he told me to move to Mexico when I did not want to, but did. And he is the one who made it clear to get into real estate here, which I did. The rest is just doing the right things according to him and other men I listen to who are successful in sales.
The second thing is in 2020 I bought silver, which I had invested a lot more in it. YTD it is up almost 100%. Today it was up about 6% or over $3 per ounce. This is much more liquid than real estate which can take months or even years to sell. I can go into the place I bought it and sell it within minutes. Or find another buyer.
I have had homes we built and resold double in money also in a short period of time. But not with liquidity like silver doubling in the last year. If you compare silver with almost any other asset, very few to nothing has out performed in the past year and 5 years since I bought it. And it is not done running, there is a HUGE shortage of silver which is not only money to hold, it is also a metal used in technology and necessary. They are not producing enough of it to keep up with the usage, and it has been that way for years now and really catching up now. Plus it has been manipulated to the down side by these same elites who are hiding in the shadows hoping you do not find out about them. But now it is getting to the point they can no longer manipulate it. Major countries, mostly brics are buying, which is making it go up a lot. And they are not done yet, nor does it appear they ever will be unless they find a better option for the technology that is less money and more abundant.
The other thing we have done is since about the same time in 2020, we have been moving all our money into pesos instead of dollars. When we started moving it to pesos it was around $22.50 to $1. It is now as of today it is at $18.30. We all need cash money, so it becomes a question of which cash to hold. I could see the switch to a lower dollar. Plus we can get over 10% interest in pesos instead of 5% or less in dollars. So some of our money is in cd type products in Pesos in Mexico, making over 10% on an average and mostly tax free as Mexico does not charge much for taxes on it, it ends up like .5%. That is not a typo, a half percent.
So here is the point, the wisdom I had to do these three things, which is that wisdom along with the discipline to save and invest the money instead of spending it foolishly. Is why we have. All three represent basically 99% of our money and all three were excellent decisions. Silver might remain the best thing for life. Real estate has already rolled over and died for now, maybe forever. Depends on this economy and if the elites get their way of us “owning nothing and liking it” or not. But the point is because I was obedient and worked hard while it was good, doing the right things. And then saving it instead of spending it foolishly like most of the realtors did. Buying new cars all the time, going on trips all the time… Just like I used to do in my old days when I was in charge. Because of this, now I can sit back and manage our assets and be more of an entrepreneur and spend my time with my family, the running wound selling homes. And because of the Lord bringing the right people in my life at the right time, I live in the most amazing place as described before. We have the best views around, no issues with erosion, no issues with bugs and mosquitoes or flies. I watched him make this happen and am in awe of it all. And it is my pleasure to tell others of how he works and to destroy the works of the evil one in people’s lives, if they will listen and stop making up excuses like “it is your opinion.” Or my moms excuse of “that was written by a man.” And at the same time putting her faith in a man they call the pope instead of a man that walked with the Lord Yeshua personally. And knew him personally. One we know for sure received the Holy Spirit and sits at the right hand of the Lord, head over one of the tribes of Israel. Her pope is not going to get that, actually her popes will not even be in heaven, teaching the trash they teach.
But this is what we do, and then wonder why we suffer so. My mom suffered and died from cancer, it was said to see it happen. She died in the same sin, making the same excuses. My father in law is going down the same path (with much bigger sins). Making excuses and being too proud to repent. Where with me and my wife, we “Give thanks to Adonai! Call on his name!
