On the contrary, following the Holy One who called you, become holy yourselves in your entire way of life; since the Tanakh says, “You are to be holy because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16
The Lord was showing me a similar story today which is about how the men follow man made doctrine which they believe is of God and will save them, but is the opposite. The verse above was shown to me by the Lord first thing this morning, which I read and did not think much of. But then he showed me everything I am going to reveal to anyone listening. Then I went back and read the verse again which made it all tie together. This is how the Lord works. He shows you things and ties them all together so you know it is of him.
The main thing in this verse is “following the Holy One who called you!” For some reason the religious people think following him is not hearing his voice and obeying him, it is doing their religious thing, listening to their religious men teachers.
This is the biggest lie, the great deception. And the people do not see it. How can we not see? How is it that there is well over 1,000 different religions pushing this guy named Jesus Christ who never existed (because the real name of the son of Yahweh is Yeshua and he has no last name but is the Messiah not another christ, or just another god of the Greeks. But you have to think and look at this, how can there be so many doctrines, all a little different in their beliefs? This non-existent guy Jesus is a confused one in my mind. How can he be all about grace and you are saved while still in your sin with one religion, and others push works? And yet it is the same guy Jesus?
But more so what the Lord was showing is how man twists things, and almost always does things the opposite of what the Lord God wants. He showed me how they killed all these prophets including the Son Yeshua. And at the same time men like King Saul was supposed to kill all the enemy and he spared the King, to which the prophet Samuel cut off his head.
This is the problem, the one the Lord keeps showing me. We come up with our own doctrine, throwing out a few different verses and justify our actions according to some bible verses or according to our past.
Which brings up another situation I am dealing with (which is really the Lord’s dealings I just obey him). It is one I shared before, at least parts of.
As said before, there is a guy in our condo complex. He has threatened to kill me and my family, he did not pay his HOA, we cut his electricity so he broke in twice to change it. He then stole electricity from me. He also uses drugs and owes the IRS over $200,000 dollars. The guy has some fairly serious history.
But how does this explain the ways of God?
God is working to show me how or what he expects. The simple answer is if someone is evil like this, but has nothing to do with you. For example another country and the USA, looking at Trump and what he is doing with Venezuela and Mexico. If that other country (or person) remains to themselves. And they do not affect you, let them alone. But if they come up against you, then destroy them
This is God’s history, he did not send the Jews out to destroy other nations just because. They left them out there to do what they wanted. However the minute they came against the Jews, he destroyed them. Normally the Jews did nothing except come in after and pick up the spoils.
So in watching this teaching play out both in my personal life with this squatter, and also with Trump. I see what God expects and how he works, where the men tell a different story and justify their own works.
This man squatting is making some of the other owners feel sorry for him, poor little old me. They do not see the truth. I made a point to them recently that if they did not know this guy and he came and wanted to buy into our project, and we knew he has a history of stealing, not paying taxes, breaking into private property, threatening to kill people… Would you let him buy?
The short answer is no way, so then the question becomes, they why do you let him manipulate you to believe he is the victim? He has brought everything on himself.
No different than King Saul being manipulated to feel for the king and spare him. And no different than Trump using excuses of drug trafficking and the poor people of Venezuela and the US needing to go in and fix it. I am not saying what Trump did is all bad, but it is not all good. But was it for the right things? Because Yahweh has a history of doing the same thing, destroying other nations and giving the spoils to his people.
Here is the point, did Trump do it because he wanted to and for gain? Or did he do it because the Lord said so.
The first option, which we know is the answer is always wrong in the eyes of God. The second answer is always right in the eyes of God.
With my situation, what the Lord has shown me is a dream, where this man sticks his but in my face acting like a hot shot and in control and can do whatever he wants to me. I immediately threw him to the floor and put my knee on his back. He was looking up at me with fear, and my fist drawn back ready to punch him. I looked around and some of the people from our project were watching to see what I would do. And I hit him hard, a knock out punch.
A weird dream which at first I did not know what it meant. But I prayed for a clear vision or interpretation. And the Lord gave it over the course of a week or so. Most of it came when we put in meters for the electricity which clearly show the guy is stealing electricity. This opens up a door to legally get him not only out of our project, but to get him either put in jail or deported and lose his visa. I personally really do not care which happens, I just want him gone, as does the Lord. He always wants evil away from you.
So the knock out punch is this, getting him deported or put in jail and then deported. I really am not doing much of anything, nor have I through this whole process. The Lord keeps reminding me of the Pharaoh and Moses and how the Lord hardened the heart of the Pharaoh a few times and then destroyed his kingdom.
Throughout history the story changes some, especially today with technology. But it is the same basic problem. Man decides to govern themselves and then how man twists things to benefit themselves, and in some cases with extremely evil ways.
One last example, using the squatter. This past week I sent him a text giving him fair warning of what I was going to do, and giving him a chance to get out voluntarily. God does this all the time, he even did with the Pharaoh. Good told the Jews to repent often before he destroyed them. So I did the same.
However this man twisted it as I was trying to intimidate him and causing him suffering, sent to me by his lawyer as if they would press charges. I simply laid out all the things he has done which are illegal in almost any country but certainly are here in Mexico. And I sent him the penalties for these things he has done, which I have proof of so I will win. Again the same as God has always done. Saying let my people go or else to the Pharaoh. In my case the message is get out of my life or else you will be removed in a bad way (the knock out punch) in a legal way according to the law. When he is deported or in jail, he cannot live in the condo below me. Which also again he has no legal papers giving him any rights to be in the condo.
The funny thing or interesting thing I find with people is how they twist things and try to make it the opposite. Because what would be more intimidating? Getting a call from a bad guy telling you to cooperate with this man or he will send someone to your home to torture you and kill you and your family? Or to give fair warning that if you do not move out by a week from friday, I will start legal proceedings to get you removed? Obviously what he said to me is much more intimidating, yet I have no fear of him and did not let it intimidate me. Which is what God expects and why he allows people to do these things to you, to test you. Are you strong in him or weak in your own self? For me I showed my strength in God, and this man showed his weakness
Now to sum this up and make the point, I am NOT doing this on my own using bible verses to support it. Instead I am doing it the way the Lord is showing me to do it. The dream with the knockout punch was the final piece of the puzzle to move forward.
If God is for us, who can be against?
