Don’t you know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one wins the prize? So then, run to win! You were running the race well; who has stopped you from following the truth? 1 Corinthians 9:24 y Galatians 5:7
Just because you did something good with Yeshua and received something from him does not mean you will remain in him forever. We are tempted in every way, and many times we think that something you left in your past for good then pops back up, or maybe it is a new sin which creeps in. This life is a race we run until the day we die, it is not a sprint, but a major marathon. A race you have to have some sense about to not only make it but also to win the prize. It’s not about speed and being the best athlete, it is about determination and discipline and understanding.
Here is the problem, hardly anyone follows the truth Paul speaks of above. They have their own religion and their own god, they read their bible just like true believers, but they make it to say something completely different making it easy to be saved, and little to no work on their end. And interestingly enough they point to Paul’s writings as why it is easy, and ignore or change up verses like these about staying in the truth and running the race well. So many people get all caught up in traditions and holidays like what we are celebrating now, Easter. But should we?
Note that there is nothing written in the bible about what day Yeshua was born nor what day he was crucified., nor did the early church get together to celebrate either one. We are the ones who made it a big deal and make it out to be some sort of epiphany of our “faith” Many religious people only go to church on these two days.
I have learned that the days of “christmas and easter” are both pagan holidays with evil backings. Dec 25 is the real birthday of a child born out or wedlock to a whore who made herself to be some sort of goddess, and so the religious people in greek made Yeshua’s birthday to be the same day so it worked no matter what you believed. And easter was a day once a year where the priest would have sex with virgins, and a year later murder the children of the ones who had a baby and drink their blood and even put eggs in the blood. This is where this tradition came from.
Yesterday I was watching this guy on youtube about financial things, and at the end of his taping he pushed easter and Jesus Christ and finding a church. And even made the comment, no one is perfect in the church, which is true, no one is perfect in the church system because they have not even put on their shoes to run a race, more or less run it in a way to win the prize. I have had conversations with this guy before about it. And he points to his years of studying scripture yada yada yada and how he knows.
But the problem is he and almost everyone is teaching men to follow a foreign god (and no foreign god exists, they are man made). But because it is an easy path the people follow it. They do not like the narrow difficult path which keeps you running the race in such a way as to win the prize. And they believe they are good with God, but are they?
God does not make covenants with you based on your theology or doctrine. He has one covenant and we either follow it or we don’t. If we follow it and him, we will achieve salvation and an amazing life. If we do not follow him and his covenant we will die in our sins and we will not inherit heaven.
Many people make an argument that God is love and he would never send good men to hell. Which is true, but then we are all evil men in the flesh. And heaven is a perfect place, reserved for those who ran the race in such a way to win the prize. The ones who washed themselves clean in this lifetime in his blood. And put on their wedding garments. Where are these verses in their teachings?
They also say you are not saved by your works but by faith. But that is not what Yeshua said a number of times in Revelations. He says clearly “each one was judged according to his works.
So why are you not following the truth?
No one seems to understand the significance of this! And you find out when it is too late, when you are face to face with Yeshua and he says “away from me you who followed lawlessness, I did not know you.” What a time to find out that guys like me were right and your religious teachers were thieves and robbers.
