Those who listen will come to life!

When the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who listen will come to life…  those who have done good to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to a resurrection of judgment…     You keep examining the Tanakh because you think that in it you have eternal life. Those very Scriptures bear witness to me, but you won’t come to me in order to have life!  You’re busy collecting praise from each other, instead of seeking praise from God only.  All from John 5 CJB

This one will be short because the verses along with everything the Lord keeps showing me and I tell what he shows me in the dark as he commands us to.  At least those of us who know him and hear him and obey him.  Which is the main thing.

Look at the first verse, the dead will hear his voice… and come to life.  Now it is easy to read this and think it is only about those who have physically died, but is it?  Because in scriptures, Yeshua tells us over and over how we are dead in our sin.  As always you can believe what you want, and twist the doctrine to tell you what you want to hear.  But he is speaking of all dead, the living dead in sin as well as those in a grave.  He makes it clear in other words he spoke as recorded in the bible.

The second part is extremely important, because how can you read this one and then look at your doctrine and say you are saved by grace and not works?  Yeshua is saying clearly here as he also did in Revelations, you are judged by your works.  Those who do good works to salvation, those who do bad works or evil works to judgment.  As we saw yesterday. Those of us who have received the Spirit and obey what is told to them.  They have already passed from death to life and they will not see the judgment.  We already have received the judgment.  The light has shown me how unworthy I was as a man in the flesh, the evil I did in the eyes of God.  But he also gave me the wisdom to repent and how he wanted me to live my life.  And he keeps instructing me daily in my walk, as long as I listen when I start down a bad road of evil works and reverse and continue on the path of righteousness.  No sin occurs and I remain in his perfect love.  However, like anyone else I have a choice and I can make a bad one and sin and fall short.

The difference is if your doctrine is all about scripture or a man teacher leading you, there is no authority in it.  No one stopping you in your tracks to keep you from sinning.  So it is easy to be snared in the trap of the devil and sin.  This is why no man gets to the Father except through the son.  This is why a man must be born again into the Spirit to enter into the Kingdom of God.

We ignore and change and twist words written to suit our doctrine and make ourselves feel comfortable with our salvation while in sin.  As it says you examine the Tanakhe thinking you have salvation, and it tells of the Lord and what he expects, yet people do not see it and then ignore the Lord so they never achieve what he expects.

As discussed many times before, the people want a god who tells them what they want to hear.  How good they are as a person, that everything is fine the way you are, no growth or changes needed.  But the Lord wants a much better life for you than what you are living.  And he equips you to live it.  He tells you what you need to do differently so you can live it.  But most ignore this voice because it is also condemning when you see just how evil you are but want to believe you are good.  And we heap up other people to tell us how good we are and how much god loves us and we are certain to go to heaven.

Rarely is there a funeral I go to where most say “he/she is in a better place now.”  And in knowing the person, I know it is a lie.  In some cases the person really believes it, because in their own eyes they were a “good person.”  And by the standards of men, they were.  But because they never came to know God and what he expects, their works were evil in the eyes of God and not worthy of salvation.  As repeated over and over and over again, your own works will NEVER be good enough.  Only the works done in the obedience to the word of Yeshua spoken to you directly are good works.  And when you listen and obey and do them, then you will see exactly why that is.  Until then, if all you do is surround yourself with other so called “believers” that tell you what you want to hear.  Nothing will change to do good works.

Inside of me I chuckle about the “believers” because they do not believe in God as they think they do.  They believe in their doctrine about a god who never existed.  You cannot read something like the above verses and then go back to the doctrine of saved by grace, or once saved always saved.  Or worse, the catholic doctrine where you keep sinning and just eat a little bread, drink some wine, do confession once a week when you sin and their god will forgive you and bring you to heaven.

I always pick on these two main doctrines because they’re the ones I know the best, but NO DOCTRINE is correct.  Yeshua is the correct one.  The true doctrine in scriptures simply points to him and to the Fathers will for your life.  And as he has been showing me again in the old testament, Adonai’s will is simple.  Hear him and obey him and he will bless you and keep you in good health.  Protecting you from the enemy.  BUT, if you do not hear him and obey him he will destroy you, especially if you have idols and false gods before him.  Which is what the catholics do with all their saints and Mary.  Somehow even twisting their doctrine to make Mary the mother of God, and then she is in charge of Yeshua somehow to tell him what to do.

To finish off the above verses, the doctrine tells of Yeshua and what he expects, yet most ignore it in favor of their own doctrine and never receive the fullness of life in Yeshua.  But instead as said above and many times before, we surround ourselves with people who praise us and tell us good things we want to hear, which keeps us in our sin.  We have no reason to change and repent if everyone we hang with tells us we do not have to.  And we ignore the calling of the Lord, we do not answer the door when he knocks.  Because of the praises of men, most believe they already are good the way they are.

This is the simple version of the BIGGER LIE.  We trust in men to be our leaders because they make it easy to have salvation and tell us what we want to hear.  But the TRUTH in Yeshua tells us to repent, turn from our dead lifeless way of living and be born again.  Then you will have life in abundance.  But Yeshua never tells you what you want to hear, he tells you what you need to hear to achieve this abundant life and salvation.  Then you must work out what he works in you.

All the other lies and truths always come back to this one main thing.  Do you hear and obey Yeshua unto righteousness?  Or do you ignore him in favor of your men teachers and support system and remain in your sin and unrighteousness?
