We have all heard this verse and many others like it. And we jump on it and make it to be something different than what David was saying in this psalm to the Lord Adonai. To those who are still in the flesh it is music to our ears, because we think or believe what we are told about the god the people of the flesh worship. Which one? Whichever one you believe in, the god of the catholics, the evangelicals, baptist, later day saints, JW, Lutherans, non denominational, the ones with the prosperity gospel or OSAS grace doctrine… It does not matter, they all make it to tell you that Adonai has changed and after his Son “Jesus Christ” died. Now he is not angry anymore and accepts sin as OK in his Kingdom.
Now a part of that is true, he is not so quick to destroy the people when they sin. But then again, the normal people do not have a covenant with Adonai as did the Jews. Nor is the covenant he made with the Jews available to us.
What is an option is the new covenant Yeshua brought. A much better covenant. Yeshua is the Judge since he came and died on the cross. BUT, his judgment is based on what the Father shows him. He was not given free reigns to judge however he wants to with partiality. There is no partiality with God on the point of favoritism where one man can get away with sin because he is funny and makes God laugh, or sweet and found a soft spot in the heart of God. Or whatever. The judgment is the same for every man, and it is based on “did you know Yeshua, or not?” Yeshua said clearly “they will come to me in that day and say Lord, Lord we drove out demons in your name and prophesied in your name and did many wonderful works in your name. But he will tell them, I DID NOT KNOW YOU, AWAY FROM ME YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS. And they will thrown where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
To know Yeshua is to hear him and obey him. He says over and over and over we must hear and obey. But we do not see it because we cannot when we are in the flesh. For 20 plus years I read all those verses about hearing him, about not praying to anyone or worshiping anyone or bowing down to anyone other than the Lord God, yet as a catholic I did all the time thinking it was of God because my catholic teachers said it was. The bible said clearly it is not only not of God, but it is the main thing he hates the most. When you worship and pray to anyone or anything else other than him. He destroyed the Jews many times over for this one sin.
Back to the verse and more so the many other verses around it. Because in verse 25 David writes “he is also to be feared…” As said many times the new teaching has left the fear part behind and made the new god an amiable god who we do not need to fear, but instead just boss around and tell what to do. This god appears to be so hungry for new sons and daughters he is willing to put up with just about anything in order to fill up his Kingdom. He is like a big teddy bear in the sky.
But as said many times, this is not truth, Adonai did NOT change, he is the same. The only thing that sort of changed, but not really is what was said before. No man can enter into the old covenant. And in the old days the people who were not Jewish who did not go after the Jews to destroy them but remained in their own land in peace, God did not destroy them, he left them alone and they died in their sin apart from him.
I hear too many people including president trump praying to this made up god quoting this and that verse about protecting the great nation of the USA. And making it about how he is a God full of mercy towards them and their sinful ways but not other nations. Thys make the zionist jews to be the Jews God protects when they are not real Jews. So Israel and the USA and other countries defend Israel against countries like Iran as if Adonai is on their side and against these other countries.
Now, I am not saying these other countries are perfect by any means. And I live in another country in Mexico and we have many issues as well, like cartel mainly. But how do you compare the sins of a country like Mexico or Iran to the sins of the US? We are not talking the normal man so much as the leaders and direction in general. There is no other country that abuses money like the US because of the world reserve currency status (which is going away fast). There is no other country abusing what is supposed to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, the body. Then the US in what we put in it both in food and drink, and also sexual sin which is even worse than the days of Noah and Sodom. In those days they could not do surgery to change sex, and they did not have hundreds of genders like today. Today the sexual sin is WAY above those days. And our government leaders have normalized it, mostly obama and biden. But trump has done nothing to reverse it. And it appears all of these men where a part of epsiten’s island and participated in those extremely sinful ways. So we accept it even in the church system these days saying it is OK. We do not see the destruction which is upon the nation because of all these mounting sins, and what is coming for the judgment, WHY?
Because they created this fake loving teddy bear god who lives in the heavens who does not care about sin anymore and twist bible verses to support them. And they make a good argument against the other bible reading men of the flesh because the other bible reading men in the flesh are also in sin. So it becomes a deal of do not throw stones unless you are sin free, which none of them are.
But this is NOT what the son of God came to teach, he taught clearly we must be born again and he sent the Holy Spirit to accomplish that. So now the simple judgment is did you do the work the Lord showed you to do because you heard him speak and obeyed? So you were cleansed and could receive the Holy Spirit? Or did you follow your religious made up god and remain in the flesh?
That is the judgment, nothing more and nothing less. But all the other things come after you die unto yourself and do it Adonai’s and Yeshua’s way. I ha ve found in my walk with God that once you truly die unto yourself, there is a punishment or judgment you must pay the price for. God allows that punishment, which a part of it is a price paid to satan for following him for whatever number of years and now you are turning you back on him. And part of it is satan trying to trick you into remaining with him because according to the religious people, there is no suffering in their belief of god. No punishment for their sins. So when the trials come, they go back to their old life instead of plowing forward into the new life in Yeshua. One where he cleanses you completely with a part of the cleansing being from the trials you are going through. Once you get through them, you see who God is and who satan is and how you were evil in your ways and following satan all these years, even though you thought you were a “good person” and doing good works.
We must let the Lord show us who we are, how our works are not good works. They can only be good works if done in the Lord by hearing him and doing what he tells you to do. HE will never tell you to do bad or evil works, NEVER! He may and will remain silent in some of your works especially during the early years of obedience which will allow you to fall short and sin, but he uses those times of falling short to teach you and that is where his true grace comes in, he allows those sins to teach you, but will you learn? Or will you remain in your religious ways and claim a fake grace, saved by a sinner’s prayer or confession?
God does not and never has and never will accept sin as OK and bring it into heaven. As I write this he reminds me of a few different things we see as doing good when it is evil in the Lord’s sight. He gave me two examples.
First is someone defending my dad and how my dad wants a girlfriend, mostly about sex. So this person was talking about finding someone even hinting at a hooker and paying someone. Not that I want my dad lonely and isolated, but who is going to want to be with a 83 year old grouchy man in a wheel chair with diapers? And I would never bring a hooker into our property, as my dad now lives in our condo we have as a rental. In this other person’s mind it is about trying to make my dads last few days as good as possible according to the fleshly desires. But what they ignore is the fact we will share in the sins of the people we help like that. So what we think is good and acceptable is actually the opposite. And it can bring serious setbacks in your walk with God even to the point of being 7 times worse than you were before, which brings us to the next example God is showing me.
The second one is about the guy tom who was to buy in our condo complex and screwed it all up. And a few things about it. The first is how tom was heading down the right path with God, growing (although really slow) but then he met a lady, moved in with her on the first day and was doing his old sinful ways and abandoned Adonai. Now his nature is 7 times worse than before.
The man has created many problems amongst us, and there is no doubt he will continue to if we leave him here in the complex. As mentioned many times before he even threatened to kill me and my family after torturing us first, using the cartel.
It is the opinion of some of the other owners that the “christian” thing to do is to forget and forgive and let him have his way and stay. Now keep in mind I am not doing anything illegal to get him out, he is the one who chose to not sign the new contract and sue for his old contract. There is no reason legally or morally that I should give him a new contract and let him have his condo.
This judgment is not based on an anger in me against him. It is based strictly on tom and what Yeshua is showing and telling me. The “christian” religious way is to forgive and let him have his way, but then the real problems come because you allowed men of sin into your life. Keep in mind there are sins and there are sins leading to death. He has and remains in the sins leading to death. Of which we want nowhere near us, and he would be living right below us.
The hope is you see the point of how God works and how our religious beliefs work. I forgive tom, have nothing against him and IF he really repented and I saw he was bearing good fruit, and the Lord said give him the condo and let him move in, I would, no questions. But the opposite is happening as he is like the Pharaoh in Egypt with Moses and the Lord seems to be hardening his heart as he keeps doing the opposite of what he should do and cooperate and repent. If a man does not repent and remains in sins like his, you have nothing to do with him. Kick him completely out of your life.
On the other hand, men with other sins, how do you handle it? For example my wife has a brother who uses drugs and is an alcoholic. I see him from time to time and say hi and that is about it, a short small talk conversation. I do nothing to help him by giving money, nor advice because he is not in a place to receive any advice because he would be like throwing the pearls to the pigs and getting trampled under foot.
Another example is the other people in our condo complex I live by, I have a relationship with them but it is based only on the needs of the community. We do not have coffee with them, or a glass of wine as the sun goes down and small talk. All of these people are religious to some degree and will quote you the bible to try to make you see their way. Again some of them are about forgiveness for tom and accepting him in because tom is their friend. And it does not matter what you say, how much you point out his sin and ways and how it is hurting all of us, they defend him.
Many times the Lord has shown me the same with my older daughters and how people for some reason accept the sin as OK and stay in it. It is really beyond me how my ex turned my daughters from me to her and left me completely out of their lives. Especially as I turned more and more to God and less and less with anger and hatred and sin in my life, where my ex did the opposite, she grew in anger and hatred towards me and my family, convincing the girls to cut us all off.
There is this thing with evil and the father of evil, satan. Which gives it power over peoples lives and they see it differently than what it is. And interestingly enough they see evil as good and good as evil as compared to how Yeshua judges. I have done the same in my life, staying away from the ones who were working towards or maybe even achieved a Holy life in Yeshua, and remained hanging out with my sinful friends who liked the same sin as me, the ones who never condemn you for it because they are doing the same sins.
One more point, if you do not see this difference it is because you’re blind, and you are blind because you chose to remain blind and not come into the light (wisdom of God). And this is also why you receive the same outcome as the men who hate God or do not believe there is a god. You share in the same sins and get the same results.
As I have pointed out in scripture and in my own life’s results. God expects us to live a certain way, and when we do, the blessings come in all ways. Excellent health, wealth, good family relations. But mostly peace and real love in Yeshua. But those of us in Yeshua and his Spirit also keep those who are not and are really evil out of our life. And those who are somewhat evil at a distance to us.
Keep in mind that Paul wrote about kicking certain people out of the church because they were corrupting it with their sin which the people were accepting. Yes this is the same Paul that the new generation of accepting sin, preached about grace. And are accepting similar sin into their church system in the name of grace. The same Paul, two different theologies. But the truth is Paul only had one theology based on Yeshua. It is man who twisted it into two theologies and actually many more than that. So which one are you going to follow in your life? Some man made theology you hear from men teachers or men friends? Or the truth from Yeshua, the truth that sets you free and saves you?
