They argued with Stephen, but they could not stand up against his wisdom or the Spirit by which he spoke. So they secretly persuaded some men to allege, “We heard him speak blasphemously against Moshe and against God.” Acts 6:9-11
When Yeshua had come closer and could see the city, he wept over it, saying, “If you only knew today what is needed for shalom! But for now it is hidden from your sight. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will set up a barricade around you, encircle you, hem you in on every side, and dash you to the ground, you and your children within your walls, leaving not one stone standing on another — and all because you did not recognize your opportunity when God offered it!” Luke 19:41-44
Not sure where to even start with that Yeshua was showing me this morning, and it is not good stuff for those who are perishing, which is most people, especially “christians.” The chrisitain’s are no different than the Jews in the old times. Very hypocritical, very judgmental.
Our judgment on another person is for nothing, because the Lord will judge us each according to his truth and way and light. And his judgement is as said before, did you let the light in or ignore it? Quenching the Holy Spirit, who is whispering into your ear. Do you hear him and his whisper or do you ignore it because that light is condemning?
The great deception or delusion sent by the Father Adonai is simply that the people believe in any other doctrine other than the truth. But the main point in those doctrines is that you are good enough as you are to enter into the Kingdom. It may be because you go to confession, or God’s grace. But the deception is you are comfortable and have a sense of peace while still in your sin.
Not long ago, I was having a conversation with an aunt of mine who is very catholic. And I pointed out some of the evils the church teaches which are like putting a finger in the face of God and saying we will not obey you and do it our way and you are going to like it and accept our doctrine and bring us to heaven. Mainly the part of the idols and praying to all these saints and Mary. Her response was I just got back from church and I felt really good there.
This is a perfect example of the delusion, which is you feel comfortable in your religion and sin, and still think you are good with God.
When Yeshua entered into Jerusalem, he said “if you only knew what or how to get peace, but now it is hidden from you.” The problem is we think we have peace and are right with God because of what men teachers tell us, but we don’t. And when the light comes you ignore it over the teaching of these men teachers because you like their concept of God better than God’s concept of himself. And we kill off any man who tells the truth, maybe not physically, but mentally. We find ways to ignore the light like saying “I feel comfortable in my church.”
It has been like this from the beginning, men always looking to find a way to ignore God and do things their own way. And the minute the door opens to do so they enter into it. Like the Hebrews making a golden calf and saying it was the god who led the people out of Egypt.
This is your judgment, did you come to know the light which sets you free from sin and darkness? Or did you ignore it and remain in your sin and religion? Yeshua stands at the door knocking, are you going to let him in? He also said “anyone who knocks the door will be open for him. When we knock we are in sin, we need to be cleansed of that sin, and the working of the Holy Spirit and the Lord is to show you the sin and dysfunction in your life, and the way out of it. The sin comes from the dysfunction we allow in our life, riding the waves of the ocean being tossed to and fro. We like the excitement of the waves, where standing on the beach looking is boring. One of the things most people want when they are looking for a home to buy here in Baja is white water views. Seeing the ocean is not enough.
This is the problem, we want the excitement, and God eliminates the excitement in favor of peace, which you cannot have both. Over the years the Spirit has told me to stop doing certain things, like watching TV, especially sports. While these things are not sinful by themselves, they lead to sin and as much so if you are watching tv, you are not letting the Spirit speak to you, the sound of the TV drowns out the voice of the Spirit. You have to choose the best thing. And we think in our mind that I have forever to spend with God so enjoy life while I can. But this life is so short and we do not understand this life is really only about preparing for the next life and paradise. Put your focus on the things of God, and eternity instead of the things of this world and its constant entertainment and things that lead you to death and hades.
I also read through Matthew 23 and 24 where Yeshua rips the Jewish people about how they are hypocrites and brood of vipers… It is no wonder they wanted to kill him, but they should have repented instead and looked at the facts being shown to them instead of trying to hide them and destroy anyone who shows them to the people. And like Stephen, they made up lies to have Yeshua murdered.
Also like the Jews we say things like “if I were alive at the times of the prophets we would not have killed them.” But Yeshua tells them yes you would and you will kill me. The people today are the same, they put to death the son of God in their minds by ignoring the voice of God in favor of the voices of men. They ignore the word, the light which cuts like a knife to the bone. The same word (which is Yeshua) that would give you your real peace from God. And not this fake peace that everything is OK when everything is not OK and you are still separated from God and in your sin.
Many will say I am judging, but I am not, your judgment will come upon you from Yeshua not me. I am simply telling the people the same as the Prophets and Yeshua what the truth is so they can follow it. Because once you knock and the door is open and you wash yourself clean in the blood and are made Holy (that is without sin) then you will enter. It does not matter what sin you did, you can enter in. The only sin you can commit and not enter is blasphemy (or ignoring the Light) of the Holy Spirit. This is what all of us are guilty of until we allow the light in.
But the problem is most of us do not let that light in, and most do not even know we have to let that light in because we believe the great deception or lie. The lie of whatever religion we follow.
