The teaching of Yeshua is not new once again, but he showed me something I never noticed before which is that the verse above not only says to watch for the yeast of the Pharisees but also Herod who represents the government.
If you watch the Life of Yeshua, he could have been it, the government of the world. Even satan gave him the offer, but he refused. He could have socialized with the government leaders, they all knew who he was, and some wanted to meet him. But he never spent a minute with any of them except when they hung him to the tree.
Compare this to today’s religious leaders, and they are all hanging out with politicians and pushing their ideology, trying to incorporate religion into government. All of which is man made doctrine. Yet the masses of people love it.
Name a pope who has not been with the President and many other political leaders? Or even men like Billy Graham. Many people think highly of Martin Luther King, but was he pushing the Kingdom of God or more rights for the black population? Keep in mind I am not saying that what these men did was bad, but was it of the Lord?
This is the point the Lord Yeshua is making to me, we sow to the world and we reap to the world. You will love one of the other, the Lord or the world. Religion tries to incorporate the two and make it OK with God in the minds of the people.
Yet Yeshua said I did not come to take you out of the world but to keep you in the world. In other words we are to be in this world and live here, but separate ourselves from it so we do not cooperate and live in it. Say what you want about the Amish, but they are an excellent example of this. And no, I am not saying the Amish have it all figured out and are the only saved ones. Although I do not know a lot about their religious beliefs, the little I have heard about them is that they follow the law as closely or better than most men. But I have yet to hear them say anything about hearing and obeying the Lord. Maybe they teach it like that and do it like that, their example would indicate they do by how they live. But I have never heard one of them say that is what they do, which if you are truly pushing the Lord and his ways, you are telling others to simply hear and obey the Lord. The Lord Yeshua is the only way to the Father and the Kingdom of Heaven.
As I continue to read the book of Leviticus, it continues to show just how crazy we as people are. Every day it speaks of some of the Israelites doing something to upset God to the point of killing them. Today it spoke of some of them visiting with the neighbors and then worshiping their gods. At what point do you look back at the first time they did this with the golden calf and how many God killed? Or every other time they disobeyed the law and he killed them off? There is no way an Israelite could say they did not know or understand as there are all kinds of examples, and those examples make it clear that God sees all and will come after you. It’s not like they can sneak around and not get caught. But yet they keep doing it.
Another point God keeps making with me is how it is different today, Yahweh does not kill us on the spot like in those days. And instead he now lets the weeds grow with the wheat until harvest when he gathers up the wheat and puts it in the barn and throws the weeds into the fire. This is a good and bad thing.
A good thing because instead of someone like me dying because of my sins on the spot. Because I was catholic and prayed to saints, Mary and angels. In other words I had idols. And some of the sexual sins which would result in being stoned to death I did. The point is if it were still the same, I would have died in my sins without a chance to repent. However Adonai no longer strikes us dead on the spot, so we have a chance to learn and grow and repent of the wickedness in us. So it is a good thing for me. And I remember a few times in my past where I should have died, for example I had a very bad car accident one night when out drinking heavily. Thank Adonia y Yeshua I did not die because I know where I would have spent eternity if I had.
So this brings up the next point or counter point. Which is something the Lord showed me before and was written about before. And that is if Adonai did work the same way, and the penalties for sin were as tough as they were back then. More people would act better than they do now. This includes man made laws, because for example when I was a kid if you were caught doing drugs or even weed, you would go to jail. Now they do crack cocaine and meth in front of police and nothing.
The president trump is doing it all wrong. If you take out the cartel, another cartel will take over. But if you make the penalty harsh on the users end it stops because of no business. IF you were caught using a drug and went to prison for 10 years for example. Many people would stop using, but the few who choose to keep using, they end up in jail and cannot use it in jail so the business dies. But to let them keep using without problems keeps the system working.
Well the example is partially true because they are used in jail also. A neighbor of mine works as a Doctor in the California jail system, and he told me of how most of his patients are using drugs in prison. I did not ask, but the thought in my head was how does it get in? There has to be insiders involved like the warden or someone working there. How can they not find out who the ones are who get it in? They do not find out because they do not want to know, the people doing it are making too much money. And this keeps the system alive, giving guys like trump a reason to blame Mexico’s cartel and attack.
So back to the yeast of religion or politics. And how the politicians and religious leaders put a twist on the problems and a solution which makes no sense yet the people are all over it. As long as you give the dog a bone they are happy and support you. And they allow the dysfunction given to them to be the answer to the problems only to find out it is not working, yet the people keep asking for more and more. The above example is a perfect example, we blame Mexico instead of our weak selfish people who keep doing drugs when it is illegal. They get no punishment and become the victim and people feel sorry for them. Many times trump has talked about how many innocent US people have died because of the cartel, the poor people. We need to stop the bad people, the cartels.
Do not get me wrong, the cartel are very bad people, but so are the innocent end users. To feel sorry for them is to defend the evil on the other side. But to stop the evil on the US side of the wall will work. To stop it on the Mexico side will not. Before it was Columbia who supplied, we took them out and now it is Mexico and China and Russia. Most all of it coming through Mexico with some from Canada and from the sea. But you take out the Mexico Cartel and the next cartel will step up.
It is the same with everything, if the punishment for sexual sin was tougher instead of getting more and more acceptable. If we still stoned to death a man and woman for having an affair or having gay sex or sex with an anaimal. Then the odds of people doing it would drop significantly, especially if you knew in your mind the Lord sees it all and you will get caught.
I like to believe I would have been a much better man from the beginning if the Lord God was still like the old days. And it would be impossible to teach this trash they teach about grace if people were getting struck down left and right because of their works of unrighteousness. The preaching and actions of the people would be very different than where we have come to with the easy salvation messages.
The main point, it is different yet it is the same. The same way to salvation, yet with a different tolerance for the law. Now when you break the law, you are given a chance (actually many chances in my case) to repent and change your ways. In the old days you had one chance and if you blew it you died at the hands of the Lord Adonai.
It is important to understand this, and to live it and teach your children this truth. Because the religious system and political system will not teach it. And the young ones will be more hell raisers than you were if you don to tell them the truth. And the more hell raisers we have the more problems we all have. All these people not following the law of Adonai cost us in money, in peace, in many ways. Although I do not walk around here in Mexico wondering if I am going to be killed any second, it still bothers you when you see a dead body in the streets or hear gun shots. Or like a few weeks ago the cartel fire bombing cars and other problems they caused, It bothers me that people have no clue or just do not care that they are fat and cause problems when flying on a plan next to them, or how much they cost the health care system driving up my cost to live along with everyone else’s. Only because they are too lazy or undisciplined to eat correctly.
As said many times, my dad is a perfect example, he had a stroke and cost the system a lot of money as did my mom with her cancer fight. Why? Because they would not listen and change their diet. But since my dad is living in Mexico he lost weight and has not cost the system a penny in the last 3 years. Before he was in the hospital every few months with health issues and grossly overweight. Now perfect weight, no more diabetes, no high blood pressure, no health problems other than being stuck in a wheel chair from the stroke. He has cost himself a lot of problems but also the system and me and my sister who care for him. Same with my mom before she died.
And why? Because of following the worldly doctrine of religion (catholic church) and the government worldly system.
Be careful of the yeast of the religious people and governments. Instead be one with Yeshua and live in the world but do not be of the world.
