Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. John 15:4
Yesterday the Lord was teaching me about co-dependency and how evil it is, and how the world is very much involved in it. Today the Lord was showing me the opposite side of it, and how he expects the same with him, except the outcome in him is very different. The point is satan uses much of the same tactics as God does, except he uses it in a much different way to get different results. He wants evil results which keep you from the Lord, where God wants good results which bring you closer to him and his truth and way.
When Yashua said abide in me, which he did many times. He simply means to know him and obey his commandments to you, in other words what he tells you to do. He comes in and gives you his doctrine, his truth so you get an understanding on how to live. And this truth from Yashua goes against almost everything you have been taught, although it so closely resembles many things written in the bible the Lord Yahweh gave to Moses and the other prophets including his Son to teach us, that it is easy to be fooled. Even further is the teachings of many other teachers like Buddha also resemble the things of Yahweh.
But they are like dark and light, water and oil, they do not mix. The ways of God are like the heavens above, and as the heavens are above the earth, so are Gods ways above ours. Yet we keep going to man to guide and instruct us instead of to the one who knows us the best because he created us, and knows exactly what we need.
So this morning the Lord was telling me to write about simple economics, his economics. He used things I have read over the years to make a point about how simple Kingdom living is compared to how complicated the world has made it and made us co-dependent on the system when we do not have to be. And how it is the lazy ones who try to benefit off the hard workers. And how the governments have taken from the one who took 4 talents and made 8 and given it to the one who only had one when he did not even deserve the one talent, instead of the righteous way Yashua told us it should be. Because this is what the whore catholic church system and the US and Mexico government have done. As well as many governments around the world and church systems.
How God enables us is to take the 4 talents he gives and make it into 8 for the benefit of all. And for those who oppose him and do not want to cooperate, he oppresses. This is his idea of freedom of choice, do you choose to obey him or join the world which will oppress you?
Here is how the world does it. And how to get back to a simple life in Yashua.
So the example is this, there are two men living on a island, just them and their families. One is a farmer gathering fruits from the trees and vegetables. The other fishes. At the end of the day they get together and trade fish for fruits and veggies and all is well. Simple economics of needs and supply and this system works great, with the Father being the one ultimately supplying them both, they just do their work to get together what the Father supplies. Because obviously these men did not make the fish or fruit trees, Yahweh did.
But then along comes another man, a cunning man. And he convinces the other 2 men they need him because both are getting screwed. He goes to the man gathering and explains to him how he is working way harder than the fisherman who sits in his boat all day doing much of nothing while he is risking his life climbing up into trees to get fruit and it is hard labor. So if he signs up with him to govern him, he promises to get 2 fish to one coconut. And then he can rest every other day and not work so hard. This cunning man then goes to the fisherman and convinces him he is working way harder and risking his life out on the sea and deserves 2 coconuts to one fish and if he allows this man to govern him, he will get it for him. So both agree thinking it will benefit them, but the one who benefits is the cunning man who takers a cut. And in the end they both have to do a lot more work because in the end they both raise their quotas which offset each other and now instead of one fish for one coco, it is 2 fish for 2 cocos, but they have to give the third man a fish and coco also, so they now have to get 3 fish and 3 cocos a day.
Then this cunning man convinces them they need a doctor on the island because their work is dangerous and they will some day need his services, so they agree and now to have this doctor it cost them 4 fish a day and 4 cocos, all the while nothing happens with the men to need the doctor. As they start to realize this, then the doctor comes up with a system of convincing them there are things wrong with them and they need to take drugs to offset their health problems, so not to pay for the drugs they need 5 fish and 5 cocos a day. Now these drugs are making them even sicker so they need to take even more so they now need 6 fish and 6 cocos a day.
So the fisherman and coco farmer are starting to feel overwhelmed and go back to the cunning man and tell him, so the cunning man says OK we will imposes laws on how much the doctors and drug companies can charge, and to do this I am going to charge a lesser amount of money to make it happen. So they agree and pay the cunning man now 2 fish and 2 cocos a day instead of one, and the cunning man convinces the drug person to reduce the cost by half a fish and half a coco a day. But then when they cannot feed their family and have their mansions in front of the sea on those wages, they raise them back up.
The cunning man also makes these men believe there are enemies who are going to come to their island and take everything they own so they need to hire other men to protect them. So they raise the number of fish and cocos to 8 each a day giving one of each to the man to protect them and one more to the cunning man who now is getting 4 fish and 4 cocos a day.
Being it is starting to get complicated keeping track of how many fish and who gets what, the cunning man comes up with a monetary system where he takes paper and puts some designs on it and calls it money, and one of these equals one fish and one coco. And he issues these in abundance keeping many for himself. He then starts buying all 8 of the fish and cocos daily so the others have none and they need to offer more for the same fish in order to eat, driving inflation.
And this process continues to higher and higher levels of control, and the fisherman, coco farmer and doctors and security man all are getting ripped off and there quality of life is much worse than before. They do nothing to stop this system, and all they have to do is get rid of the cunning man who really has no power over them other than what they give him.
All the while the good Father, Yahweh is sitting by shaking his head and wondering how long these stupid men will keep following this cunning man who is taking everything from them, there health, there prosperity or wealth and making their life extremely complicated and stressful.
As Yashua said ““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” Matthew 6
At what point do we get what Yashua is saying here and stop worrying about the things the cunning man and his band of evil men (satan and his followers) are telling us and stop obeying them and start obeying the simple life in Yashua?
As mentioned before I started hearing Yashua speak to me about 20 years ago when all hell broke loose in my life, and over the years he has slowly taken many things from me, although some immediately like my career and money and family. Like 6 times in my life I had to start over with new careers, the last one from being an insurance agent to selling real estate here in Mexico. Taking me from a career with high income taxes to one where the taxes are very low because of different ways to stay out of the cunning corrupt system these men set up. Because when they set it up they set it up in a way they do not have to pay the same as the common person. We just need to be smart enough to find out how they do it and do the same.
Or even better just get out of the system and live a really simple life exactly how Yashua said, the Father will feed us.
So this is my life today, we do not have health insurance and that has saved us probably $250,000 dollars the past 10 years. I trust my Lord with my health, but then we also eat healthy according to how he tells us to eat and drink. And the few expenses we have had were much less than even what the co pays or deductibles would have been.
Another example is my dad who lives here in Mexico with us. He still has Medicare a y b as it is mostly free for him (well he paid into it all those years). But in the two years he lived here we have never used it. We have seen doctors and did medical test but here in Mexico not covered by Medicare. The cost were minimal, which is the point, it is not worth it to me nor my dad to spend all day crossing the border to get these test done. He really does not need the insurance, however because it is almost free it does not make sense in his case to terminate it. But back to my family, it makes no sense to spend $20,000 a year or more when we would never use it and my wife cannot even cross.
We pay cash for our cars and buy used and often accident cars, driving them for many years saving thousands more. For example I am now driving a Prius plug in car which gets us great gas mileage and many free miles. I bought it for $10,500 about 6 years ago with 50,000 miles. It now has 190,000 without one problem. We can drive 8 miles on electricity (which we have solar) and average around 50 miles to the gallon. In my old days I would driver brand new cars for a few years on lease and get a new one, spending tens of 1,000s every year. My guess is around $20,000 per year including the reduced cost to insure and maintain the cars. So about $200,000 over the past 10 years.
I have set myself up with a s corp and have not paid into social security in over 10 years saving another $150,000 to $200,000 dollars over the past 10 years.
All this also allows my wife to stay home with our kids so no daycare, which saves over $10,000 per child per year or $30,000 which over 5 years would be another $150,000 dollars. We also home school and have not vaccinated our kids saving more.
I can go on with other examples, but looking at these few we have saved about $800,000 dollars over the past 10 years. Now many people would spend this savings foolishly, but we invested it wisely in real estate and as we accumulated rental properties and built and flipped homes it gives us more money and assets which do not reduce or save us money but it does give us a lot more income to then continue to invest making even more. Two quick examples of tax free income. The first a home we built and flipped we invested around $107,000 dollars in, all with the money we saved from the above examples. We resold it for $185,000 making $78,000 dollars without paying any taxes because of tax laws in Mexico. You can exempt if set up correctly and or use things like a “terminacion de obra” to offset the gains. The second example was a home we lived in and cost us around $160,000 to build. 5 years later after not having a mortgage to pay for 5 years saving us even more, which on a home like this one would have been around another $106,000 with payments and insurance. When we sold this home we sold it for $325,000 so we doubled our money. In Mexico you can sell a home and use your standard deductions once every 3 years and exempt a certain amount. So we did and paid zero in taxes.
Here is another important point to make, at least in Mexico. It is not as important in the Us because of tax deductions and low interest rates, which is something you have to understand about the country you live in. But here in Mexico with interest rates around 10% and no tax savings, it is not a good idea to finance a home. So what we did because we did not have $90,000 to buy our first home, was the seller financed us at 7% BUT, because it was an inexpensive home we only paid interest for 3 ½ years and even then paid it off early so our interest cost were around $5,000 dollars. Most people listen to the cunning man who tells them they can afford a much more expensive home, all finished and turnkey and their monthly payments for 30 years is going to be $______ dollars. What they never pay attention to is those payments more than double the total payment over the years, especially at 10% interest.
The first home we bought was not finished, we had to bathrooms, finish the kitchen, lay tile and other things. We lived in a mess off and on for about 7 years as we also added on and redid something’s. And now our home is worth around $500,000 dollars. And we only paid around $5,000 in interest. Based on our investment of around $200,000 all in now and getting $38,000 a year in rent now, our return on investment is about 20%. Plus our investment has grown from around $200,000 to about $500,000 now. In my mind as a past investment guy and now in real estate. I see real estate as the best investment around, of course with patients and with wisdom to know when to buy and where. The buyers down here in Baja I have had over the years are mostly coming down with equity from their homes from the US. Very seldom is it because they saved up the money in a savings account.
But back to the point using the cunning mans ideology and long term bank loans. If we would have or even could have bought a more expensive finished home back 13 years ago when we bought this first home, the cost would have been around $250,000, so our interest would have been about $20,000 the first year and would have been over $500,000 in total interested paid over 30 years. So add this savings, because we decided to not play the real estate game their way and buy a cheaper unfinished home and deal with the extra work and inconvenience of living in a mess for a few years while finishing it and remodeling. We saved the extra $500,000 in interest, so now our total savings over the past 10 years is around $1,300,000 dollars.
We have also kept a few homes to rent. So the point is this. The system is still there, we just opted out of it and did it a different way. Instead of giving them over a million dollars of our hard earned money, we kept it. Yes my social security income when I collect in a couple more years will be reduced, assuming it is even their anymore or I live that long. But the reduction does not even come close to the income I already have from rentals and flipping homes. Plus when I die those assets go to my family and the income remains for them where SSI stops and pays them nothing.
Also in Mexico they treat older people better than the US. When I turn 60 in a few months and if a Mexican national, you pay zero taxes on interest income. We have some cd type investments paying us an average of 15% here in Mexico in pesos which now we get taxed at only like .5% but eventually will be not taxed.
Do you get the point? This is the wisdom God gives to those who seek him. We live with an abundance in income and virtually no output. We really only need to put food on the table, although we have a lady come to clean 2 times a week and have our kids in sports which cost. Plus we travel. But living here in Baja with excellent year around weather, our utilities with solar cost us around $1,500 a year including property taxes. How many of you pay more than that just in your property tax alone?
We do all this while living in front of the ocean with amazing views, which if we lived about 50 miles north of here in California we would pay around $30,000 a year in property taxes to get a lesser view and live in a rat race trying to keep up.
So the point? Stop believing the lie you need the cunning man to run your life, charging you millions more in money than you really need to live. Telling you that SSI and Medicare and all these programs are good for you when they are not. Changing your food to make you unhealthy and giving you drugs to offset the side affects of the food to create even more health problems and more drugs and cost…
We are a perfect example of how God works in the life of those who love and serve him instead of false whore church systems and governments all under the control of the cunning man. Most people here in Mexico live on peanuts, like $200 dollars a week and make it. No they do not do trips and concerts and other entertainment to speak of. But that is a system thing again, making you believe you need to go spend 1,000s to see a concert or sporting event. Which is something the Lord took from me also, I no longer watch tv and sports nor go to any concerts. We go out to eat occasionally but with an amazing kitchen and excellent chief at home, with oceanfront dinning, why go out to eat?
When you decide to start doing things Gods way, he blesses you. Yes problems come, people will hate you because of him and even family members might turn on you. I hardly speak with my relatives, except my dad who lived in the system to perfection eating their foods, working for the system and paying heavy taxes and taking their drugs… and ending up disabled from a stroke and unable to take care of himself. So he is down here in Baja in a home with me as the main care taker because here the cost is less than $3,000 per month with therapy and haircuts… and in Iowa it was $10,000 per month without the extras, so I see him often and speak with my sister because of him often. But the rest, not much at all other than if someone visits my dad. My friends list is also completely different and a short list because not many want to hear me, they prefer their cunning man to follow instead of the wisdom of God. They see Yahweh God as the control co-dependency freak and not the cunning man. When they look at Yashua and what he taught and how he lived with nothing and telling the rich young ruler to sell all he had and give it to the poor. And they read how the early followers of Yashua sold all they had and put it in a big slush fund. They see it as communism at its best and to controlling for their taste.
But the truth is the “ways” of Yashua and Father God are the best ways to live. Yes he might take it all away from you like he did me, because when I came to Baja 15 years ago and lived according to the cunning man’s ways, I had around $80,000 in debt and $2,000 in my pocket. He took my money, my career, and my older kids. Everything important to me at the time away from me. But then taught me his wisdom, teaching me to do things outside the cunning man’s system. Giving me a great life worth living and like Job re-instated it all and then some making the second half of my life better than the first. And doing so in ways that seem crazy to most. Like how are you going to move to a third world country when you live in the best country in the world, the USA and make a living (according to the cunning man)? People do not see it because they do not want to give up the health care security blanket they have. They do not want to drive an older car and want brand new. They want to see the sporting events and concerts and have the big screen flat TV, the newest i-phone… And when it is not possible to pay for all this stuff they go back to the cunning man demanding it for free and the cunning man simply prints more paper money (although these days it is all digital) and gives it to them. Because the cunning man has the system set up where eventually all that money comes back to him because he owns the health care system, the drug companies, the food companies, the insurance companies, the boat makers and everything else you will spend the money on. The cunning man controls them all. And doing so with your money.
Now if this example does not get you where you want out of the system of the cunning man, you deserve what you get. There is nothing illegal as of yet to not be a part of the cunning man’s system, we live within the law and we pay taxes (although very little because of how we structured our lives and taxes). We even shop in swap meets where no sales tax is taken, buying most everything for penny’s on the dollar because it is either stuff the people in the US gave away because it was last year’s i-phone model or the car had a small accident, or maybe because of the stupid California law where you can walk into a retail store and walk out with under $1,000 dollars of stuff without paying and not face charges and go to jail, we buy brand new for pennies. Whatever the case, we feed and clothe ourselves for pennies on the dollar also and do not pay sales tax into the cunning man’s system. And all because we don’t have to have the newest latest best model of depreciating things. We instead buy appreciating things that make us money instead of costing us money. And all because of the wisdom Yahweh has given to me, and will to anyone who seeks his truth.
But the bigger picture of all this is not how good we live here, that can go away in a heartbeat, literally. Because when you die it does not go with you. My concern is not on the things Yahweh has given me, many times I see it as a curse more than a blessing, because in the end I see people all around me with much of nothing living as well as the Father also feeds them, and in the end we really only need food and water to survive. We can sleep in caves and under bridges…
But back to the bigger picture, Are you working out what God is working in you? What we have accumulated and have is working out what God is working in more for my salvation than a good life here. I took the little talents he gave me and at first lost it all foolishly. But my second time around I multiplied it significantly with the help of my wife of course, but mostly because of God. I know the importance of this is much more than what I leave behind. Because in the story of the talents, Yashua said “‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ And on the other side to the lazy one he said ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Now after all I have been through on both the complete suffering side from 20 years ago, to now entering into the Joy of the Lord which only happened because of my suffering and walking away from everything I was lead to believe was important in life but was not. I would not have done it any other way if given a chance to. Nor would |I ever stop listening and obeying God, I know it is all because of him and his perfect way.
One last point for those of you who think I am crazy to go without insurance and was simply lucky. Many times in the bible it is written but Deuteronomy 7 spells out well. It is about those who obey him (not a bible or church system but him). Which is if you hear and obey him he will bless you. But if you do not he will allow the same plagues on you as everyone else. The same sickness, disease viruses… Yes I get sick and had covid. But they do very little to me or my family. They make us a little sick but mostly build up our immunity making us stronger. In knowing the Lord and his ways, I have complete confidence he will lead us into a good life without the plagues and sickness of the disobedient who will suffer those things. And I did suffer some of those things in my past disobedient life, but no more. I trust in Yahweh and his ways only. The hard part for me is when Yahweh says in Deut 7:16 “your eye shall have no pity on them; nor shall you serve their gods, for that will be a snare to you.” The not serving their gods or the cunning man is easy for me these days instead of being a part of him in the old days. The part of having no pity for those who suffer is hard. Having suffered because of following false gods knowing we all have and most still do is wrong but we all do it on the first birth. Being a part of the cunning man’s system is following false gods. On one hand I see it and want so bad everyone come to know and find what I have. But on the other hand I tell people how great it is and they think I am crazy and that we have to follow the cunning mans and leader satan ways. They do not understand they are following satan and do not get the cost of doing so, and at the same time think they are doing it gods way and men like me are no because we talk a different doctrine then them and of course their doctrine is the truth, but is it? In your mind it is, but look at the fruit you bear? In looking sat the fruit I bear it is all good and is all because of knowing and obeying Yahweh. And I see bad fruit being beard by so many who think they are good, but are not in the eyes of Yahweh. Bearing bad fruit and not knowing it or seeing it because they are blind to the cunning man to the truth. They believe the lies of the cunning man instead of seeking a better life with Yahweh. And for such I have no pity, I can’t because the true God says not to.
