Are you prepared?

To act without knowing how you function is not good, and if you rush ahead you will miss your goal.  To acquire good sense is to love oneself;  to treasure discernment is to prosper.  A false witness will not go unpunished; whoever breathes out lies will perish.  Proverbs 19:2, 8-9

There are so many messages this morning, and through the night, hard to even articulate them.  And most have been building up over the past few weeks or months.  Similar messages, and the main point is still always the same.  To hear and obey the Lord.  And then the problem becomes which voice you hear is the Lords?  And how do your past dreams and visions play into the message you are getting, yet still not 100% sure you know the answer.

Many times in our lives the Lord will make you wait for the right answer.  And for a guy like me that is tough because I like to know yesterday and acted on it by now.  And to make things worse, I was up most of last night thinking through things and having things in my head which I really do not know if they were from God or satan.  So I must wait to find out.  If you act on the things in your head and do not know where the originate, you make big mistakes. Because as the verse above says if you act without knowing how you function it is not a good thing!

I know how I function, and how human nature functions, and knowing this and also knowing that normally when you receive some sort of information after waking up, it is normally satan.  Although the first time I heard the voice of God, it was after being woken up in the middle of the night.

To make things worse in trying to figure this one out, many of the verses today were about things like “It is better to live on a corner of the roof than to share the house with a nagging wife.”  But it also says things like “People with good sense are slow to anger, and it is their glory to overlook an offense.”  So I am acting slow in anger, actually not angry at all, just wanting to know what I should do?  Do I leave my wife alone and let her work it out with God?  Do I say something?  Do I go live on the corner of my roof?

On top of the drama with my wife which I want no part of, I had my partner send a message wanting some money.  And I do not have it, not without selling off some assets, mainly metals as they are the most liquid.  So I find myself in the same place again, with cashflow tight, a wife who is hoarding money and will not give me what is rightfully mine so I can pay the bills.  I can complain about it, but who would listen, plus I know the Lord has me here again for a reason.  And one of the reasons is to show me how much I have grown, the stress this time is not affecting me.  I am totally focused on finding out exactly and only what the Lord wants me to do, and also what he is going to do with my wife.

The last part of what he is going to do with my wife concerns me a bit because I keep seeing verses today which are not good for her and what she is doing.  The worst one of many is “ A false witness will not go unpunished; whoever breathes out lies will perish.”  There are many things my wife said in front of my kids that were not true and she knows it and when I tried to explain or tell the truth, she would not have any of it and just spoke over me.  Something she is very good at and I see her do all the time with anyone who stands up to her.  God does not care if you said the sinners prayer or do confession to a priest.  If you go against a righteous man, you will pay a price.  God is making it clear it does not matter if it is your wife or your worst enemy.  Yesterday my wife went to her church like it is the answer, but no change in her.

The other point the Lord is showing me today, and probably the most important point is the message of “walk in the light while you have it.  Least darkness overtake you!”  This is another point I do not know 100% the point.  But I know a little or most of it, and I also know that the total message will be given and it all make sense when he pulls it all together, which he has been doing the last few days.

The darkness is here, I feel it and have experienced it myself.  I do think it has a lot to do with the eclipse of the moon and prophecy.  It all started about then.  But regardless, the Lord made a strong point with that verse.  And that the darkness is here, I am trying to understand that deep and I know the Lord is showing me exactly what he means, just a little at a time and again tying it all together so it gives me a deeper understanding.  Then the problem becomes explaining that depth to other people who have not experienced what I went through, because hearing something and living it are two different things.

The Lord also brought up the verse to me of “even the elect will be fooled if possible.”  I find a lot of my thoughts lately are distracted, similar to my old life when I did not know the Lord and or started to follow him.  The devil is very good at blinding you even if temporary, to get you to do something he wants.  He constantly is filling your head with evil stuff which many times seems innocent and or right.  But normally it is easy to fight off in favor of the truth.  But I find lately it to be a much deeper distraction where your mind stays fixated on it and you do not even know it.  And then something happens where you wake up and realize what satan is doing.  I know this plays into what Yeshua was warning me about with “walk in the light while you have it, because darkness is coming.  And how even the elect would be fooled, if possible.”

The thoughts in my head last night are another example of this darkness it seems, and a learning process also.  Where satan is trying to fool even the elect, and God is using it to teach me something at even a deeper level, taking me to a higher level, or maybe back to a level I was at and let slip away some.

There are things in my life that seem like I am not at the same place as before, but then at the same time it seems it is supposed to be like that.  Like early one I did a few miracles with prayer.  They were mostly selfish things, like changing the weather to enjoy the day when it was supposed to rain.  And I did.  God did these things not because he loved me so much, but more to let me know he hears me and to teach me.

I have done a few  miracles of sorts since.  Kind of but not really.  I have healed my wife, daughters and dad physically.  But it was more because of the truth and doing things the way of God.  It is an automatic healing because of doing the right things in truth, and not some divine intervention because I prayed and made it happen, while there was no change in their lifestyle.

So the point of this.  And Yeshua said something regarding it, which is “in that day you will ask me for nothing.”  His point is when you are fully mature in him, you do not want anything.  You do not care to be out on a lake enjoying the day instead of it raining.  You do not ask for things like that anymore.

Regardless I do feel a bit distant with God lately, and not sure why?  If it is because of my being lazy and not seeking him that close?  Or if it is simply the light withdrawing and we having to rely on what the good teacher taught us while we had the light?  It seems to be the second, but either way I am not a big fan of it.  I prefer to have the Lord with me at all times, directing my steps so I do not and cannot stumble or be fooled, or even blinded for a short period, keeping my mind focused on something it should not be.  It is like you are watching a very good and emotional movie or watching a really good sports event and things are exciting, and you find yourself deep into the movie or game, thinking about nothing else.  Which by the way is the main reason why Yeshua told me many years ago not to watch TV, it takes your focus off him and the truth and puts it on what you are watching.  A good example is my wife was watching this really dumb show and crying simply because one of the participants had his mother come to see him on the show after not seeing her for 30 days.  This story makes a good point, she was not focused on it being some crazy tv program,  but got taken into it.  Me, I just laughed and thought it is a really dumb show which does nothing good for anyone.

I do not do those things anymore that can take my mind off the Lord and his ways.  So to have satan blind me for a few moments these days is not normal and I do not like it. And am fighting the good fight to make sure it does not happen or minimum lead to sin.  So far in my walk with Yeshua I have not had to fight this fight.  And like all the fights I have to fight before him, I do not like any of them.  But I also know they are achieving for me a glory that far outweighs them all.  And if I fall short in this fight, the Lord has my back as long as I am doing everything in my abilities to remain in righteousness, and fight the good fight.  We do not always win every fight, every race, every battle.  But we must win the big one in the end and remain One in Yeshua.

This is the victory we must win.  That in all we do, we are doing it according to the Lord.  We seriously want to do everything right and in righteousness and truth.  So we seek the truth and righteousness of God and then do everything possible by our strength to walk in what the Lord shows us.  And seek his help when we need it.  Because there are things we cannot touch in the walk, only the Lord can set you free from them, and remove the power of evil over you in his grace and power.  But he will not do that for you if you do not run the race in such a way as to win the prize.  If you are a lazy “christian” and make church and men teach you their truth and way, or only seek Yeshua when it is convenient, and ignore him when you like your way better.  He will not set you free.

We must surrender 100% of our lives to him in order to achieve or overcome.  And to he who overcomes will be given the crown of life.  In my life in the Messiah, I never make falling short of his glory a small thing, like it is normal and his grace covers it or I just need to say a little prayer after confession and it is all OK.  When i have fallen short I seek the Lord even more than ever to make sure it does not happen again.

Daily I die unto myself, seeking or asking the Lord to show me his perfect will for me today and the strength to live in it.  That I only want to do things his way and not any part of my flesh involved.  This is what God expects from us.  Because he can work with a man like this, but a man who gives crumbs to the Lord and plays church instead of walking in the Spirit.  They have nothing with God and with the darkness here these days, it is only going to get worse.  For those who never came to the light while they had the chance, it is going to get really bad.  Those who did come to the light when they could, it is going to get bad as well, as evil has it time.

The one message I do know from all this, and it was just given to me as I write this.  Is this last paragraph.  If you walk in the Lord and know him and obey everything he shows you.  Know it is going to get really tough to remain in him.  And it already is getting tough.  The last point has been made a few days in a row also withPaul talking about how they are persecuted beyond anything I have ever experienced nor would want to experience.  My little trials are nothing in comparison.  But I have a feeling that the real trials are coming for the true believers even in ways like Paul suffered.  And then the Lord will come, but when he does will he find you washed clean in his blood and be a part of the multitudes taken out of the tribulation?  Or will you be one of the complainers, cursing God for the extreme tribulations which will come?

Do not rely on a pretrib rapture, it won’t happen.  So when it does not happen and you find out the hard way.  Then will you seek?  Because from what God is showing me, it won’t be possible because you did not seek the light while he was here with you.
