“Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Matthew 9:12
He funny thing about the ways of God is he despises those who are so called good people, who live their own life in a way pleasing to men and the world, thinking they are good in and of their own without him. On the other hand he comes for those who are humble and lost, the ones who know they are lost and seeking for something different, the ones looking for help and answers.
I have lived on both sides of this, as have the majority of the people. I was successful as the world would see it, making good money, having what appeared like the perfect family when looking from the outside in. Traveling a lot,. My kids good in school and really good in sports. And like most living on the edge with finances, living the life style of the rich and famous without making that kind of money.
Eventually this fake world I created with the help of my ex wife decade and went away. I built my house on the sand, but not just sand but quick sand which sinks and sucks you in with no hope to get out.
But what seemed the helpless situation was actually my saving grace sort of speak. It is what turned me from my religious beliefs of what is expected and a strong self confidence, into a meek and humble guy.
I went from a guy who need no help, no physician to needing one bad. And as it says in Proverbs 1 when you ignore wisdom, that it comes upon you like a calamity and laughs in your face. It did exactly that to me.
So what is the difference between me now and then? I kept seeking for answers, seeking for truth, seeking for God even through the calamity I deserved yet at the time did not understand I deserved it. But unlike most people who go through calamity and cry in pain seeking sympathy from anyone who will give it. I was solo, alone seeking the truth from God.
Which brings up the first of two points to make to you about God and what he really wants. This first point is we must seek and seek him until you find him. Until you hear him speaking to you. Then obey him.
Which also describes the second point God made to me today. Which is the true doctrine is all about knowing him and obeying him. Was since the beginning when he gave only one command to Adam and Eve, do not eat from the tree of knowledge. Which we all know they did.
Before Yashua came and after is really of no difference except two big ones. First one, he died and was a sacrificial lamb, taking the sin with him. Second he sent his Spirit which is the most important thing ever. Before the Spirit came, there was nothing to guide your daily walk. You had to know the law and try to obey it, and God did speak to the people who would listen, but it was still your spirit in control. Your only hope was to be so educated In the law and listen to God so that you would walk in a way which was pleasing to God. A life of Faith which was then granted to you are righteousness even though you could never be 100% righteous.
Now we do not have this problem, but now we face another problem, your faith in your religious ways will NEVER be worthy of what God wants and he gave us the way. But did you accept it or not?
The way is Yashua and his Spirit he sent into the world to lead us into all righteousness. Before if you had real faith it was counted as righteousness even if you did some unrighteous acts. The \Father knew you could never live up to his perfect ways, the flesh is not able to.
The problem with religion is it allows you to have your own way and truth, so much to the point you can look the son of God in the eyes and think he is of the devil and kill him. Everyone in their own mind comes up with the things they think are acceptable with God and you still get into heaven even though in reality you have nothing to do with God because if you did you would be convicted of your unrighteousness.
In the old days God came after the fact and showed you what you did wrong if you had ears to hear. However because now we have the Spirit , the Spirit will tell you and stop you in your tracks if you listen and let him. And this is why the condemnation, if you do not stop and listen you are guilty of the sin. If you do listen and do stop when shown or told, then there is no condemnation.
This is why there is no condemnation for those in Yashua. Most teachers tell you that because you profess Christ with your mouth (even though your heart is far from him). And said a sinners prayer, and go to their church, you are born again and have the Spirit and then no condemnation because you are in Christ. The problem is Christ never existed, Yashua did and those who know Yashua and do as he says have no condemnation in him because they do his will and nothing to condemn.
This garbage gospel of a pretending god who allows sin and just pretends he does not see it and accepts it is a lie. Go9d the Father very much does see your works and does very much judge you on your works. And the simple judgment is on you not him. You decide if you will hear and obey the Lord and the Spirit. No one else has this over you. It is only between you and God.
This is the simple truth the simple way the easy yoke. Do you hear and obey the Spirit or not? Your works will be based 100% on this and nothing else.
This brings up something the Lord reminded me about at a bible study I went to once, where a lady their asked me, “don’t you ever just want to cheat a little? Just ignore the Spirit a little here or there?” The short answer is no. Because I know the consequences of not obeying. The second you let sin in with an door open, it is never a good thing. Now those few times I do something and then feel the convictio0n of the Spirit, I immediately repent, because I know the consequences of not obeying. And how it dulls or drowns out the voice of God.
Sin can happen with following the Spirit but only when you do things which are not in him. It is not easy to fall short, but it can happen. The problem with religions these days is they teach it happens all the time, it is a part of life and God is OK with it. Just try to do your best. But this teaching is because they do not know the Spirit, because if they did they would know it is a lie and what is keeping them from knowing the truth in God.
