You stupid Galatians! Who has put you under a spell? I want to know from you just this one thing: did you receive the Spirit by legalistic observance of Torah commands or by trusting in what you heard and being faithful to it? 3 Are you that stupid? Having begun with the Spirit’s power, do you think you can reach the goal under your own power? Galatians 3:1-3
After reading Ecclesiastes and what Paul wrote today. And with some of the things I am dealing with these last few days. Mostly what I am dealing with and what God is showing me. I really have had enough of this world and what it is about. How the men of the world live. And we are stupid! I was stupid when I walked in darkness like the rest of the people. There is no wisdom or light in the people who choose to do things their own way. And take written things in the bible and twist them to mean something it was not intended to be. Talk about being STUPID!
I understand Paul’s reaction and frustration when he wrote the letters to the different churches he established. Mainly with the same message over and over, which is exactly against what the church system we have today. Which is no matter if you are legalistic or a grace pusher, it is the same, you are NOT hearing and obeying Yeshua the only one who can save you and make your crooked paths straight.
Salvation comes in only one way, through the Messiah, which requires you to hear him and obey him, exactly what Paul is writing above when he said “did you receive the Spirit by legalistic observance of Torah commands or by trusting in what you heard and being faithful to it?” The modern day church system will tell you that what Paul was saying is what you heard from him and other men teachers and or in reading the bible, which they then twist. But the truth is do you hear and obey the Lord’s voice. Because he can and does speak to us all if you are willing to hear him and obey him.
The other frustration is this message is the good news, it is what will make your life go well. Not without trials and tribulations, but when you live in the truth, there is peace. It does not mean you do not want to leave this world, I would love to go see the Lord and live in paradise and not deal with the crazy people of this world anymore. But even with the craziness, you can still have peace as long as you focus on what God is showing you instead of the trials. The other day I used the example of a sister in law who had an issue with her husband, and how upset she was. I told her to stop focusing on him and what he did and focus on the Lord and what the Lord is showing you. Then you will have the Lord’s peace. And she listened and did it, and texted back later to say she felt much better.
You can have the Lord’s peace in anything you do, your focus just has to be on him and not your problems. If you truly are walking in the Lord, they are not your problems, they are his to deal with. We will use Paul as the example.
Paul suffered because of how he lived his life, but how he lived it was in obedience to the Lord. If a man did not repent and turn to the Lord and live by the Spirit, it is not his deal, he cannot force anyone to do it, nor is he responsible for their salvation. That is the working of the Lord. We must let the Lord work through us to reach those who are seriously seeking him. But it is not us who saves them. It amazes me how many times I have heard people say how they saved so and so today because they got them to say the sinners prayer. What the religious people do not get is you are not saving anyone, that is the Lord’s work only. You are only introducing them to the Lord, and a sinner’s prayer is not an introduction. It actually works the opposite to keep the sinner in sin and away from the Lord.
Same with catholic religious trash, confession and eating a piece of bread does not save you. And it does the opposite because as long as you believe the lie you will never turn to the voice of God. You do not need the Lord, you have what you want already.
We seem to think we can live a life on our own terms which is satisfactory to the Lord and will work out our salvation, but it is not true nor possible. When the Lord teaches you, then you start to see how evil human nature is. We are selfish, egotistical, greedy, demanding, and many other evil things in our flesh. Not everyone experiences them all and at the highest level, but everyone in the flesh has some of these traits and at different levels.
The elites or the ones trying to control the world are extremely all the way there on all these points. Imagine rapping young kids, eating them and drinking their blood, trying to take away all the money and wealth of the hard working people… Personally I do not care to have all the riches, and am happy with what the Lord has given, actually I do not even need that much, nor want it all. And I turned it over to my wife to handle. But when you look at how people believe and what they expect, you see the greed and selfish desires they have. The poor want us middle class to work hard and then we distribute the money to each equally according to the total wealth while they sit at home watching tv all day eating bomboms. They want me to pay for their food, health care, cell phones, electricity and rent and other things with my taxes. As if we owe them?!?!
That is selfishness and greed, and in the eyes of God it is the same as the elites. I have written many times how the system works, especially health care. The elites cause the health conditions, and then offer a solution which then causes more problems to offer another solution which keeps you sick and broke. Anyone who wants to participate in that system is sick, not just physically but mentally also to be involved. As Paul would say, Are you stupid?
I have also used the example of my dad and daughters, who were involved in the system and costing a lot of money to the system, and when I started to take care of them we removed their dependence on the drugs, and started feeding them healthy. And am happy to report now some 3 to 10 years later, they have not cost the health care system a penny. Not one penny or peso here in Mexico. Nor are they suffering like they were. Both my daughters and dad were in and out of hospitals under the health care system. Since living with me, never one time.
This example is to make a point, when you do things God’s way. You live a better life, and without all the cost. Think about what is being said. Would you rather take a bunch of drugs which are making you sick? Ending up in the hospital over and over? And without knowing it, because you do not know the Spirit of God who would have told you differently. You do not have salvation, with this being one of many reasons why you are not saved. You did not listen to him and instead participated in a man made system which is killing you and keeping you sick and broke.
I did not take my dad and girls off the meds on my own decisions and then ask God to bless them. I asked God to tell me what to do and then obeyed. It is him who made it work out for the better with their health, and also saving my dad a lot of money and the system a lot more. By the way, using my dads examples. Here in Mexico he lives in an apartment, with a full time lady to take care of him, and another one who comes in 4 days a week to relieve her so she can do some other jobs. His care is far above anything he was getting in the US. And the costs are around $4,000 a month eating extremely good and healthy food. Where in Iowa he was paying $10,000 plus a month.
Here is the crazier part, when I share these stories with people, especially doctors. They argue and say things like it is not true, calling me a liar. And unless they come here to see for themselves they can remain in that lie they tell themselves. And no one comes here to prove me wrong. Talk about STUPID!
For many years I wondered why Yeshua came to this world and lived without wives like David and Solomon, and without his big palaces and money? Seems those of us in the world want these two things more than anything else, a hot sexy good wife and money and things! But the Lord came and had neither. Now after almost 62 years I understand why. And I understand why Paul wrote about staying away from them if you can.
The old saying “women, you can’t live with them, but you cannot live without them.” It is true to a point. But if you never lived with them and had sex in the first place, then it is much easier to live without them. The moral of the story is women can bring some good things to your life. But they also bring many bad things. There are some women who do not, as I just read in the book of Proverbs how Solomon said he who has a good wife has a prize. But he also spent a lot more time speaking of how bad it can be with a bad wife. One verse stands out to me where Solomon wrote it is better to live in the corner of the roof top, than with an evil woman.
As I read through Ecclesiastes and how Somon wrote about how crazy this world is, how he was observing it to be. So I do the same. Unless you are truly going to be one with the Lord and hear him and do his will, I suggest you do not do this. This wisdom of understanding human nature and how God expects us to be. It makes you almost depressed, without hope.
Using Paul as the example again, how is it that a man who gave himself to helping humanity to have a better life and find salvation, gets ridiculed, beaten to death more than one time, yet surviving by the grace of God. Put in prison over and over. And the churches he established were all going astray and going back to other doctrinal beliefs and ignoring the voice of the Spirit of God who would make them Holy and righteous. And then eventually they cut his head off.
How does a man go through all that? And where is the justice in it? They should have been paying for him to stay in a 5 star all inclusive resort when in town, treating him like royalty, not the opposite. Same with Yeshua, He should have had the best robes, living space… But they did not, they beat them to inches of their death and then killed them. Arguing with them through it all. Arguing against the truth which will bring them their peace and salvation as if these men were crazy and trying to destroy their lives instead of building them up and saving them.
Thankfully for me, I speak and the people just ignore me, pretend like what I said is nothing and go on with their life instead of coming at me to throw me in jail and beat me and kill me. Actually the beheading part Paul went through does not sound that bad, it is over in a second. The torcher part, of many years in jail. Or the severe beating Yeshua took and then hung on a cross for hours in serious pain. That I am glad to not have to experience.
Back to the point which again is to ponder on these things if you are not in the Spirit will cause serious issues. But to do so in the Spirit grows your wisdom. Your wisdom does not grow if you do not think or let the Lord show you these things. It is “in the looking“ at the things of Life that makes you see how it is working out. What fruit you are bearing, good or bad. Which branches you need to cut off sand throw into the fire, and which ones to prune so they grow even more and better fruit.
What would destroy you in the flesh and depress you is what grows you in wisdom in the Lord when doing so in the Spirit. The Spirit gives life, not the Torah or law. When you let the Spirit teach you these things instead of just reading and trying to obey a law. You see why it is so important to obey, so you do because you know it is in the best interest of yourself and everyone else. It is a joyful thing to obey then, where it is a drudgery to obey the law without the Spirit of God.
This is the good news, God gave the Spirit to us so we can live a holy life worth living and secure our salvation or eternity with God forever in heaven without these short term momentary problems we suffer here on earth because of all the men who refuse the light and stay in the darkness. Which again is your judgment. Do you walk in the light as he is in the light? Or ignore the light and remain in your darkness?
