“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:13
The last few days, as usual. The Lord has been showing me exactly what can be summed up in this verse he showed me this morning. And the opposite of how we do not seek or ask for the Holy Spirit, instead we seek for religion, for bible study and some sort of understanding of scripture, which normally agrees with our idea of who we think God is or should be. If it does not line up with how we think God should be then we dismiss it. And how we think God should be is based on two things, what we have been taught about God in our religious choices and upbringing. And second if that does not line up with who we think he should be we find another religion which does line up. Or a third option is we still follow the religion we are in but realize not everything they say is correct, but accept it is ok so we “do not forsake the gathering.”
But none of these options is seeking the Holy Spirit. None of these options is hearing the Lord speak to you and then obeying. None of these options can make you Holy and Perfect and heal you.
None of these options is of God, the true living God, the one who will give you the Holy Spirit.
This week I had a short ongoing debate with some guy on line who came after me because I said I hear God speak. He was either trying to convince me I don’t or am crazy or maybe he just had to satisfy his religious views, and in his mind if he convinced me or changed my mind, then it would justify his view point. I have learned over the years no matter what verses you tell a man to support your position, it does not matter. They either ignore them completely or have a entirely different way of seeing the verses, a deferent definition of the words to make it work in their religion. So neither the other man nor yourself ever come to a common ground.
So with this guy, I just bluntly said |I am not here to argue religious beliefs. You keep following your god and I will follow mine, the true Living God. The one who does speak to us and leads us into all understanding and righteousness if we follow.
Which brings me to the next point which is I received a text this morning from a lady who is sort of religious, sort of not. One of the fake Christians who does church, and lives her life the way she wants, and uses sayings to justify herself which are not of God at all. For example this morning the message she pulled up somewhere and sent to me was supposed to be God speaking with her, and the short of the message is summed up in the last statement which was, “don’t worry, I have your back.”
That is not truth, God never has your back. He never said that, but the Lord did say “follow me.” And other similar things.
The problem with religion is it makes a god who follows us and cleans up our problems behind us, making us a way to continue in our sin and god is OK with it. But it is not true. In order to receive the Spirit we must be willing to let the Spirit have his way with us, not come along side us and support us in our way. The Lord is the “Way” not you or me.
The god of this world, satan, wants you to keep doing things your way and believing your way is good with the Lord of Lords. And that the fallout you experience from it is normal and not stoppable. Like it will happen no matter what you do, so you just go along with it and do the best you can and God is OK with it and will sustain you in the sin. But that is not the message the bible gives us, even in its twisted and changed version. Because the teachings in the bible today are not the same as it was originally written. But even so the main message is still “follow me” not I will follow you and have your back. The main message is still “hear me and obey me” not do it your way and I will bless you in your way if you call on my name.
And again the Lord taught me about the difference in knowing him and obeying him and what is being taught. Many religions push the bible as the word, not Yashua as the word. And then on top of it many stories of the bible were removed, and many twisted over the years or eliminated and so that word no linger represents what God even said in the first place. So if you basing your beliefs in God on that book, you are already living a lie. Keep in mind also the early church did not have a bible, and what they did have was old testament writings. The new testament was being written or was not yet written.
So if the bible was to be the word the early church missed out and surely is in hell then?
Also keep in mind the early leaders, Peter, Paul, John… They were not Christians. The word Christ and Christian was a term given after 300 AD WHEN THEY CHANGED THE BIBLE TO MAKE IT MORE ACCEPTABLE TO THE PEOPLE IN rOME. jESUS, pETER, jOHN, pAUL jAMES… tHEY WERE ALL JEWS AND REMAINED jEWS EXCEPT CAME TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE JEWS TAUGHT IN THAT THE MESSIAH HADS COME, BUT THE JEWISH LEADERS DID NOT KNOW HIM AS SUCH. sO THERE RELIGIOUS DOCTRINE OR BELIEFS CHANGED FROM THE JEWSIH LEADERS ONLY BECAUSE OF FULLFILLMENT OF THE COMING OF the SON OF GOD AND HIS CRUCIFICATION. tHE EARLY CHURCH LEADERS WERE CALLED MESSIANS NOT CHRISTIANS.
sO THE SIMPLE POINT IS IF YOU WANT TO FOLLOW CHRISTIANTY OR YOUR RELIGION INSTEAD OF SEEKING OR ASKING FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT, THEN YOU ALSO MADE YOUR DECISION FOR YOUR SALVATION. GOD ONLY ACCEPTS A MAN BORN AGAIN INTO THE SPIRIT INTO HIS KINGDOM, AND THE SPIRIT DOES NOT TESTIFY TO YOU ABOUT YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS AND ACCEPT THEM AS OK, ALLOWING YOU TO REMAIN IN YOUR SIN.
WHICH BRINGS UP THE LAST POINT YASHUA MADE TO ME THIS MORNING WHICH IS WHEN HE SAID “YOU REMAIN IN YOUR SIN.” IN MY OLD DAYS I ASSUMED THAT SAYING MEANT HE DID NOT FORGIVE YOUR ONGOING SIN BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THE JEWS DID, BUT THE LORD EXPECTED YOU TO KEEP SINNING. BUT AS THE TRUTH (YASHUA) EXPLAINS IT TO ME NOW, IT IS MORE SIMPLE. THEY REMAIN INTHERE SIN BECAUSE THEY IGNORED THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE LORD AND REMINED IN THERE RELIGION WHICH KEEPS THEM IN SIN. HE DOES NOT FORGIVE YOUR SIN, HE ELIMINTES IT ON THOSE WHO SEEK OR ASK FOR THE SPIRIT AND RECEIVE IT. YOUR JUDGMENT IS ON THIS ONE POINT, DID YOU REALLY RECEIVE SOMETHING FROM GOD AND FOLLOW HIM AND LET HIM DO HIS WORK IN YOU. THE DECISION IS YOURS TO MAKE, EITHER SEEK FOR THE sPIRIT OF gOD AND FIND A SIMPLE SIN FREE LIFE IN HIM. OR REMAIN IN YOUR SIN AND SEPERATION FROM GOD FOR ETERNITY. THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS, AND THE LORD SHOWS ME CLEARLY HOW EVERY RELIGION IS WRONG, TEACHING THE WRONG DOCTRINE, FOLLOWING THE goD OF THIS WORLD WHILE LIVING IN SIN AND THINKING THEY ARE SAVED. BUT THEN SATAN IS A LIAR FROM THE BERGGING ANDS WILL NOT BE IN HEAVEN, AND THOSE WHO FOLLOW HIM WILL ALSO NOT BE IN HEAVEN. AND YOU ARE FOLLOWING ONE OR THE OTHER, BUT YOU CANNOT FOLLOW BOTH.
KEEP IN MIND SATAN ALLOWS YOU TO LEAD AND THEN TELLS YOU IT IS OK, HE HAS YOUR BACK. BUT HE LIES, HE DOES NOT HAVE YOUR BACK, HE IS ALLOWING YOU TO SELF DESTRUCT. THE TRUE GOD EXPECTS YOU TO FOLLOW HIM, NOT DO IT YOUR OWN WAY AND HE HAS YOUR BACK. THE LORD IS NEVER IN THE BACK, HE IS ALWAYS IN FRONT OF HIS CHILDREN AND FOLLOWERS.
