“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. John 6:35
This verse has to be one of the most misunderstood verses there is, because it is not that you will never need to eat again or drink again. Nor is it like the catholics teach that you are saved because you eat the holy eucharist. It is much more simple than this. It is because if you come to him, that is to know him and obey him and what he tells you. He will build you up in all ways including physical, financial, and mostly Spiritual.
Keep in mind he was speaking to the 5,000 men he fed the day before, and they all came back asking for food again. Their idea, like most people, is of a god or ruler who takes care of them. But Yeshua is making it clear it is not like that. He will give you life, thus why he is the bread of life. And in that life (and in him you will know what this means, you will live life in a whole different way and level). But in that life you will prosper, he will keep you informed of things to come, giving you direction on what to do. And in that direction you will know what it means to live.
So two different angles on this teaching from Yeshua. First is regarding food and water. Yeshua not only will tell you what to do to prosper so you have no worries about how you will feed yourself. But he also will direct you on what to eat so you remain healthy. Now keep two things in mind, first he does not always make you full of wisdom and wealthy day one, in my case he left me dead broke for a number of years, although most of that was my own fault for stupid spending habits. But when he teaches you, making money is a certainty if you are in line with what he wants you to do. But more so is knowing to not spend more than you make, and invest properly.
In my life, he is the reason I moved to Mexico, and he is the reason I got into real estate. We made a lot of money in real estate over the years (now it has all but stopped). And we invested well in Real estate buying many different properties, flipping some and keeping some for rentals. Our income from the rentals is what we live on now with some other investments, because again the income from sales has stopped. But our overall income remains very good, more than enough to feed us. This is one of the things he meant by saying he is the bread of life.
I watch these videos about the economy in teh US, and how so many people are struggling and cannot even pay the bills. Many crying on tictoc or youtube. And I know why, because I had the same problem even though I made a lot of money over all my career. When you over spend, nice new cars, coffee from starbucks… YOu never have extra to invest. The system of this day keeps you broke and the elite extra wealthy because they know how to market to you to get you to buy things you do not need, but think you do need it. The smart people (like I am now, not because of me but because of God) do not overspend and do not need the latest best nothing. We make our own coffee at home along with lunch, we rarely eat out. We do not drive new cars, and make ours last forever. I have a prius with 200k plus on it still running great, gets 50 miles to the galloon. And not trading it anytime soon.
The second thing, as or more important is the food you eat and your health. This one gets lumped in because my dad had some minor issues with his health. His ankle was swelling up and he had a hard time walking because of it. So we did a blood test which just came back. His blood is almost perfect, a few things on the low side but almost within the normal range. His blood sugar is perfect, in the middle of the good range. We took him off his blood pressure meds, and many other meds over the 2 plus years living here and he has lost a lot of weight.
Yeshua speaks of looking at the fruit you bear. Well blood tests are the fruit or the test to see if you are bearing good fruit. Obviously we are. If you saw his old blood test, everything was out of whack including diabetes. The diet my wife and I put him on is the difference. And the wisdom to know and understand comes from Yeshua.
Keep in mind God expects certain things of us. He does not want us to practice religion, but instead know him. And then you will know he expects you to perform physically and mentally with wisdom from him to achieve great things. He will enable you to do so, unless you are lazy and only seeking your next meal. Which by the way, that meal is coming to an end for the US. Many people are complaining they cannot make ends meet already, but the next wave of inflation is coming. And the dollar is toast, the rest of the world is moving away from it, doing swaps which means they trade with their own money and do not need the dollar. Plus they are all making deals with each other to trade and stop trading with the US. The demise of the dollar is actually going quicker than I thought it would, however it has a ways to go. But anyone who is in dollar instruments, and some of you have no choice because you live on social security and maybe a pension. Your spending power is going to get really tough in the next decade or so. If you have or can buy commodities and real estate, I would suggest doing that, however when it makes sense. Real Estate is over valued and many places are getting killed right now. Wait for the right opportunity. The smartest investors around like Warren Buffet are sitting on all time high amounts of cash for a reason. My wife and I have more cash than ever as well right now for this reason, although I would like to add to our silver position as it is running up nice these days.
I can go on and on about finances, I love watching things and playing the game of trying to figure out what the elite are up to to destroy us, and then do what they are doing to prosper. But hopefully you get the idea? And if not, get to know God because he will help you to understand, along with listening to the right people who really understand how this world and its economies work. Things are changing quickly, be ready.
Again Yeshua is the bread of life, anyone who comes to him will never be hungry nor thirsty.
