I continue to compare the Complete Jewish Bible to the NKJV and although most of it is similar, there are some significant differences, ones that allow you to come to another conclusion on what was said or how to take it. For example the saying “heard and learned” can be twisted pretty easily so you read your bible and hear God speak through it. However when it says “listens to the Father” it is harder to make that work.
Although I have never read the bible version before the late 1,700’s when they changed it. According to people who have, they say the major difference is it is spelled out clearly: we are to hear and obey the Lord. Not a bible, not a preacher, but the Lord himself.
This version of the bible (which I rarely read a bible anymore, but instead let the Lord Show me things instead). Which is the Complete Jewish Bible, seems to spell this message out more clearly. It amazes me still when I speak with people, and we get into debates. How they cannot discern that we are to hear and obey the Lord. We actually can hear his voice, then the only outcome satisfactory to God is obedience to his voice.
It is obedience to him that makes it possible to be perfected and then obtain salvation. Without hearing him and then obeying him it is not possible to please him. Nothing you do in your own flesh is pleasing. Yet when I tell people I hear God and obey him, they do not believe it, why?
Mostly because no one teaches this, never in my entire life did I know anyone who said they heard and obeyed God. The first time I heard the Lord speak, it was amazing and at the same time crazy. I had no idea what was going on because everything taught was always do this and that, believe this and that. But never anything about “if you are a chosen one, you will hear his voice and then obey him.”
Speaking of chosen ones, what makes one chosen and the other not? There is a debate amongst religions that no one is chosen or yes they are and therefore there is nothing you can do to save yourself, you either are or you are not.
But neither is truth, yet they both are truth. The truth is God already knows who will and who will not come to hear him and obey him, and even knows the exact day and time each event happens. So yes God knows you are a chosen one, but he also knows you will work out what he works in you to make yourself a chosen one.
When I look back at my life, fastforwarding it to when I started the real pains of being born again, going through seriously tough issues and drawing closer to God. There is no doubt in my mind I was learning and hearing the Father, and that the Holy Spirit was working in my life, taking what the Father told him and whispering it into my ear. I have had visions and dreams, two of the ones that most impressed me was first, a short dream of me being naked and standing in front of the Father sitting in his throne. And I climbed up on his lap and curled up like a baby and started to suck my thumb. Then I woke up.
Immediately I knew the reason for the dream was that God had been stripping me down, getting rid of my sin and dysfunction one by one. And that the time was near to receive the Spirit.
Many people believe you receive the Spirit simply because you believe or said a prayer or did confirmation or some other foolish nonsense. And it is sad because by believing in these false teachings and doctrine, they never move forward and get to this point where the Lord Adonia calls them. Even if the Lord did try they would not hear him because it is different than their religious beliefs so it would never happen. No different than when Yeshua stood face to face with the Jewish leaders and they did not recognize him as the Son of God and killed him instead of worshipping him.
We must get to the point where we are seeking to hear the Lord’s voice. The calling comes with sorrow, because we must go through the birthing pains. But the same as having a baby, once they are done, then the pain passes and the new birth of a child or of yourself is worth the pain you suffered. But once again the religions have made this of no use because they all run to help the one suffering and do everything possible to make it so they do not suffer.
It is said the old puritans would pray for sorrows, pray the Lord to bring them the birthing pains, because their doctrine taught you must go through things to kill off your selfishness. Many think they are not selfish but once you know the Lord and he shows you who you are, then you will find out just how selfish we are, and repent or turn from it.
The men teachers and fellow ‘christians” all have compassion because they know deep down they also are sinners and their day will come when they need compassion. But with God there is no compassion for sin and dysfunction. The only mention of sympathy or compassion is always associated with repentance. The modern religions ignore the repentance part and show compassion to those who they should not show it to. Because the Lord said clearly do not even have pity on them.
In other words we are not to sit and cry with those going through hard times, we are instead to pray for them that they find God through it, and make him their teacher. We are NEVER to go against God and his will because we feel sorry for the one suffering and think it is too much, I need to help them. Once we do we get in the way of God. We do many things because we are manipulated by men because the men tell us we need to do it.
A perfect example is with covid. Many preachers said it is your obligation before God to get the shot to protect the other people, protect grandma. But being I know the Lord I asked him if I should get it or not and his answer was “do NOT put that trash in your body.” So we did not put that trash in our body, and we are extremely glad we did not. We know more people who have died from the shot than you can count on two hands. And we know almost everyone who got the shot then got covid. My family, we barely got anything even being exposed to it over and over. The most we ever had was something similar to a little cold that went away in days.
I can give 1,000s of examples like this, of people getting in the way of God, thinking they are doing the will of God because of their emotional sympathy. It happens all the time, we do things because the men teachers or our own heart gets in the way of the truth of God. We believe because we did it with a “good heart” for a good reason it is in line with God’s will, but it never is unless it is God who told you to do it that way.
Another quick example is one where my wife was helping a mother with her dying daughter from cancer. My wife taught her how to cook and eat good food instead of the trash they were eating. The health of the girl immediately improved a lot, the doctor was surprised actually. And instead of remaining the course and trying to get healthy naturally. The doctor recommended more chemo even though he also said the chances are almost 100% it will make your daughter so disabled she will need a diaper and will die from it. The same thing happened with my mom actually.
So the mom tried one more chemo and the girl got sicker again and died. In the end the doctor said there is nothing you can do so let her enjoy her birthday cake. Maybe the girl would have died anyways, but I think she would not have. But the real point is we as people seek the advice of other people with degrees to give us our advice and do not go to God for answers. Then when our calamity comes and we face cancer or a covid shot or whatever it is, we look for people who will show us sympathy and compassion when we do not deserve it. And the funny thing is we should not seek it because it gets in the way of what Adonia is trying to do in our life, which is to build us up and make us perfect in his sight because he wants to speak with us and teach us how to live this life the best way. But we hide in our darkness and remain in it to repeat the same mistakes over and over.
The main reason for so much suffering and death in this world is because of this. We remain sick and die young because of ignorance towards the will of God. We remain broke financially and mentally because we ignore God’s voice. We ignore God and ultimately do not inherit salvation and eternal life. All the while suffering things all the way to the grave and hell.
It is so sad to me that it is like this, that people ignore Adonia y Yeshua and the Spirit and remain in their sin seeking advice and sympathy from men who have been educated to keep you sick and in sin. Their god, the god of this world, satan is their teacher and they do what their teacher shows them. Just like I do and show people what my teacher, the Lord Yeshua, shows me to do. Those of us who do the good works the Lord shows us bear good fruit. We do not suffer financially, mentally, emotionally, and mostly spiritually. This does not mean we never experience testing on these things which tries to pull us back into the dysfunction. But we are above it, and then are blessed after the test.
I have suffered a lot from lack of finances over the years, and it was a few years after really knowing God and going through some tough spots that I was blessed with finances. But through the rough times it shook out the bad habits or bad ways of living that was causing my lack of money, so that I would be a good steward of money going forward. Same with my health, I was not eating well at around 30 years old and suffered, but then changed my eating habits and lost weight and lost the health problems. It was the suffering health issues and getting fat which made me repent and change.
The Spiritual transformation is the hardest one however, because we must get rid of our selfishness. We do not think of ourselves as arrogant or selfish, but we are. Just the fact we want to live our own life instead of accepting the wisdom of the Lord who created us and knows us better than anyone and what is best for us, shows our arrogance and selfishness. But we do not see it.
Last point today, which already was said in a different way. We are to make disciples of the Lord Yeshua, not to a religion or man teacher. But to Yeshua. A true believer does it for the reasons above. We see how much better our lives are when you stop sinning and stop looking for sympathy from others and accept the judgment of God and make the changes he shows you to make. The life in him is amazing, without him it sucks. And the knowledge of salvation and what it really takes to be saved instead of the lie they teach. This is what makes you want to tell this good news to others and disciple the nations. And just as much because we owe it to the Lord who does these things for us and in us if you let him. And because we owe him for dying on the cross for all of us. Not because it saved us all, but because his death opened the door and made him King of Kings and Lord of Lords. And those who choose him over any other men kings will be saved by working out what he works in us.
There is no other way to the Father except through the Lord Yeshua.
