You hypocrite! First, take the log out of your own eye; then you will see clearly, so that you can remove the splinter from your brother’s eye! “Don’t give to dogs what is holy, and don’t throw your pearls to the pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, then turn and attack you. Matthew 7:5-6
This morning the Lord was speaking to me and put the two verses from Matthew on my mind. The one about the log and the one about tossing your pearls to the dogs or pigs. Ironically the two verses were one after the other, and I did not realize it.
The point the Lord was making is that people take the verses out of context, because they assume no one will ever repent and turn from their sin and will remain in sin always. If that is your doctrine, you will lose out and you will remain in your sin. And anything a person like me says contrary is like throwing your pearls to the swine. Most “christians” come back attacking like we are insane for such statements. But are we?
After all it says over and over in 1 John we are to be Holy and will not sin any longer because those who are in Yeshua have his seed and cannot sin. I wrote about this yesterday, and many other days. There are very few people who understand this doctrine because they want to follow the easy doctrine which tells them they will always sin so relax and accept the lawyer you have in Jesus Christ and his grace. A true doctrine of demons. I also wrote in detail about how the doctrine has been changed significantly over the years and how they institutionalized the true Messians in the late 1,800’s and at the same time offered 3 new doctrines to go in the place of the truth and knowing Yeshua and obeying him. This is the doctrine most everyone follows these days, and it is leading you to hell.
So back to the log and speak. Note Yeshua says clearly “first take the log out of your own eye so you can see clearly.” Yeshua did not say never say a word to anyone about their sin, because you all sin and just mind your own business. No where did he say anything even close to this.
Also keep in mind the disciples spoke out against many of the people in the churches they established who were not living the life of a saint and remaining in the flesh and sinning. But then these same disciples had been truly born again and wanted everyone to be born again and remain in the Spirit, and they knew if you allowed men who refused and remained in the flesh in the church and welcomed them. It would spread and contaminate others.
Yeshua’s statements about the log and speck can be applied to the church system today. Most will condemn a gay person and ignore other sins, like a couple living together. Or a drunk, or drug user… And other religious christian religions ignore it all and welcome everyone, which is like throwing the pearls to the swine.
We must remember what the judgment is, which is the light (being born again into the Spirit) came into the world and man liked the darkness more than the light, so they hide themselves (remain in the sin).
Me or anyone telling you that you will not go to heaven is not able to judge you. You are your own judge. YOu can be the gayest person on earth, kill people, be drunk and high and even sold drugs… And if the Spirit of God gets a hold of you and you repent and turn from those sins. You will be saved.
I am not saying a man cannot be saved because he is in sin, I am telling anyone who will listen that you cannot be saved if you remain in your sin and refuse the light and refuse to repent. The Spirit of God does not cohabitate with sin in a person’s body. And you cannot go back and forth from a sinful man of the flesh to a man of the Spirit and have the Spirit.
In utmost for his hughes today he says exactly the same thing. The author Oswald Chambers lived at the same time as the 3 new religions in the late 1800s. And he points out the new doctrine in some of his teachings. This is what he said, “Am I seeking to stop sinning or have I actually stopped? To be born of God means that I have His supernatural power to stop sinning. The Bible never asks, “Should a Christian sin?” The Bible emphatically states that a Christian must not sin. The work of the new birth is effective in us when we do not commit sin. It is not merely that we have the power not to sin, but that we have actually stopped sinning. Yet 1 John 3:9 does not mean that we cannot sin— it simply means that if we will obey the life of God in us, that we do not have to sin.”
The point of quoting Oswald is not that 99% of the people are wrong and we are right because the two of us say this which means the 99.9999% of those teaching the grace doctrine or catholic, Latter- day saints, or JW doctrine are wrong. I am simply making the point Yeshua made to me this morning which is the main point. Do you know him and obey him or do you follow your religion which twists the doctrine so you can call anyone who has stopped sinning and is calling others to this higher place of living, one where sin does not control you anymore because the evils of the devil are constrained.
The reason hardly anyone knows this freedom in Yeshua is because few chose to believe it and seek it.
As said yesterday, I see the Lord, I know him and his Holiness, his power, his authority. You cannot even begin to imagine who God is until you know him, then you are in awe of him. You know you must obey him not so much because of fear, but because of his almighty Holy Presence. You truly want to be right with him in all you do and no longer make up excuses for your sinful lazy behavior. You instead do everything he tells you to do to fight it so you beat the devil at his game and gain freedom in Yeshua.
The other really cool part is you see things like the verse from Psalms above and know it applies to you. I do not fear the terrors at night or the cartel and what they could do to me. Or a plague, like covid.
When covid was here in 2020, I never hid from it. We stayed home and followed the rules when we had to with masks, but when we did not have to we did not follow the rules. We had christmas and thanksgiving meals with family and went to outdoor events without masks. My wife always accused me of wanting to get covid, which is not really true. What was true is I knew it would not affect us, it would affect the sinful unbelievers and some even died. But a true believer will not be touched. So I did not fear it or anything.
This also does not mean I will run up to cartel people and throw my pearls to the pigs. Not unless the Lord puts one in my life to witness to, then I would. In verse 4 it says: “his truth is a shield and protection.” And in verse 8 it says: “and you will see how the wicked are punished.”
I watch how the Lord is working in my life and when an evil person tries to do something to me, how it ends up. The price the evil person pays for coming at me is a price according to their actions towards me. The Lord knows the intention of the hearts of men, and judges and pays back accordingly. You are judged on your works (actions). And the punishment will be according to your actions. In knowing this truth, I do not want to do anything wrong against the Lord or any of his people. Or anyone at all, because even if the other person is not right with God but does not do anything harmful to me or others, we need to remain in peace with that person.
Two wrongs do not make a right, however a wrong against a righteous person is really bad. And also keep in mind what Adonai said ““Adonai says, ‘Vengeance is my responsibility; I will repay.”
I just read this verse a few days ago in Romans 12:19. As always the Lord shows those of us who are in him things and then expands on it over time to make his points and teach you the truth and doctrine of him. When you learn it you see how bad and evil the doctrine of men really is that most people follow. And you know why we must know him and obey him and let him be our teacher.
