“Indeed, if God had not limited the duration of the trouble, no one would survive; but for the sake of the elect, those whom he has chosen, he has limited it.” Mark 13:20
As always, the Lord is trying to show me something, and will probably play out over the next few days. But interestingly he showed me this verse above earlier this morning as a thought that came to my mind. And then a few hours later when reading scripture, there it was again. As mentioned many times, this happens all the time, not just some coincidence.
Although there will be other teachings as the next few weeks unfold, there is one the Lord keeps making clear to me. And that is how so many “christians” believe the rapture before the tribulation will save them from the troubles. That their grace doctrine is truth and will save them. But there is not one single verse which says this, and there are a few verses which makes it clear it does not happen that way. But then that shows us the problem, which is people hear and read what they want to hear and read.
Like the verse above, if the elect or chosen ones of God, who repented and turned from their sinful lives to righteousness, are left behind to fend for themselves in the tribulation. And how is it sinful men who said a prayer are going to be saved and spared the tribulation? God is a righteous God but that does not sound righteous to me!?!?!
At what point does man start seeing the lies in their doctrine, lies they cannot justify? That there is no rapture before the tribulation and they are not saved by grace and belief on what their son of God Jesus Christ did on the cross. At what point do they start to understand this doctrine and all doctrine are evil and are leading men astray?
In your minds here on earth you can always find someone to agree with your beliefs or doctrine, and justify it in your mind. The mind is an interesting thing because if it hears something it does not like it ignores it and focuses on the things it does like. And if those things are said over and over enough men believe them even when it is an obvious lie.
This is the oldest trick in the book for satan, to keep telling little lies over and over with a lot of truth, so the people believe it. The catholics believe their lies and the christian theirs and islams theirs… All these religious people believe their half truths or lies. The lies are not too blatant at first or no one would believe them, but satan reels them in little by little until they believe the lies, and those lies get deeper all the time.
I have seen it in my own life when I was a catholic and then a christian. Going to multiple christian religions trying to find the one who told me how the real God is, which I never found. Not one told me to hear and obey the Lord and let him lead you into perfection by obedience to him.
But back to the main point today, which is how if this is the end of times, and all hell breaks loose on earth, we will all still be here, unless they kill you because of your beliefs. But because of prophecy it will happen that most will fall away even further from God, because scripture says that men will curse God when the plagues come upon the un-repented sinners, the same ones who will not understand why they were not taken in some sort of rapture. While the true believers, the ones who know Yeshua and hear him and obey him. We will not suffer the same plagues. We will suffer, it will be like no other time ever, nor will it ever be this bad again. BUT, we will not suffer the same plagues as the religious people who do not know Yeshua and do not obey him.
I see many people already suffering the plagues, not at the level of the end of times, but on a smaller level, like my parents and their health problems, people who are fat and unhealthy And who are broke and cannot pay the bills, who are on drugs or alcoholics or shopaholics or gamblers or whatever your deal is you cannot stop doing.
These are not disorders because of bad luck or birth or family genetics or whatever you want to blame them on. They are because of choosing to allow sin and dysfunction in your life so God allows these problems on you. And many times it is a generational family sin, where you do exactly what your dad and or mom did. Or a racial sin, like I see the same ways between 99% of the Mexican people, and the same with the US people, 99% of us are the same, with the same sinful outcome.
God knew this and why he told the Jews to kill or drive out the people in the land he was giving them, even the innocent little children as we would think. It is because of generational sin because of families and nations. Everyone believes the same thing and follows the same leader.
But then again, we do not see this. We have come to accept our beliefs as truth and the best way to live. Because who would in their right mind do things that are bringing on them plagues and certain death? No one I know of, so it is obvious when you tell people truth and they argue back with their religious beliefs it is because they do not believe they are living a lie. And they do not want to hear anything that contradicts their truth.
I cannot begin to tell you about discussions or arguments I have had over the years with people because their beliefs do not line up with what I learned from Yeshua. And the same argument I use everytime never works. Which is you see my fruit I am bearing, and it is good fruit. And you came to me because your fruit is not good fruit. But you want to argue with me about how we are supposed to live and what we are supposed to believe? But this is the truth of Yeshua, look at the fruit they bear, is it good fruit unto righteousness or bad fruit unto dysfunction?
I have also had discussions with catholics, many family members about praying to saints and Mary, and they will never listen to what Adonai says about doing it. They have heard the lies so many times they believe it is sound doctrine when there is nothing in scripture to support most of their teachings, and there is all kinds of scripture to support them believing in a lie. Yet they will argue and make you out to be the crazy one, my aunt even said to me once, I feel good when in the catholic church, like it feels right. Of course she is 80 years old and has been in the catholic church for all those years. Hearing the same lies over and over and over.
Last point, which is with the bible and how Adonai through Moses and the prophets did the same thing, repeating the same information over and over and over. If you have read about 5 chapters of deuteronomy or leviticus, you have read it. Because it is the same message over and over. Many times I wonder if I am reading yesterday’s scripture again by accident.
