Glory in the Lord!

But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.”  2 Corinthians 10:17-18

The ongoing teaching of the Lord is interesting because he is showing me something a little new, not totally but part of it.  I have been shown many times over about the current church system and its corruption and to stay away from it lest we be snared into believing the lie.  And it is interesting to me how over and over religious people push the one verse that says do not forsake the gathering, but ignore 100’s of others that warn about staying away from false doctrine, and the deception which comes from it.  They ignore the warning to the 7 churches in revelations 2 y 3.  They do not pay attention to history and how the same lies are spread over and over, maybe with a little different twist but satan has mastered how to manipulate and deceive people and how to get others to do the same all in the name of a man who never existed (they changed his name from Yeshua) this man Jesus Christ.  Most think they are following God and his son, but are not both in spirit and in name.

The other day I spoke about what God showed me regarding a man who came over to discuss the things of God.  He had his doctrine and I had mine.  Both cannot be right, actually it is possible neither of us is right completely.  And I accept this and am always seeking truth, not justification for my ways, but the Lord Yeshua’s truth and way to live.  I want nothing more, no matter if rich or poor, in good or bad health, with or without family and friends…  It does not matter to me what I have to go through to learn the next lesson, I want it.  I know what Yeshua taught as well as many disciples about suffering and how it is working for the good of those who love and serve God.

This Yeshua has taught me over and over, to seek him and anyone who does will find him.  The problem is we seek for what we want and not the Kingdom, and satan is quick to fill us with the doctrine at various levels to give us what we want.  But it always leaves us empty and wanting more.  And we never bear the good fruit of the good works of God, but remain in the bad works we choose to do because we do not hear and obey Yeshua.

But this is the additional point Yeshua made today to me.  How the manipulative spirit quotes bible verses to persuade us to the lies.  This man pulls up bible verses or other things over and over to supposedly support his ideas.  Where a man of the Spirit who hears and obeys listens to the Lord, and the Lord teaches something and then will keep showing you it over and over.  Like the verse above, it fits exactly in what my discussion was the other night.  During our discussion it became clear to him that I was at a higher level than him Spiritually.  He could not handle that, and what he was telling me about how you cannot be perfect ever, turned into he was also without sin.  First he drilled me over and over with bible verses to prove or try to prove there is no way to be perfect.  And I supported it with many verses that said we are to be Holy and perfect and righteous.  Eventually his story changed from “it’s not possible” in this lifetime to “so am I.”  And at the same time was still arguing it is not possible.

In Matthew 5:48 the Lord Yeshua said “  Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”  What part of this verse do we not agree with or can come up with a different translation or meaning to it?  In other words how can we twist something so simply stated into meaning we will never be perfect in this lifetime?

Here is the other part if you can come up with an answer to justify this in your mind, which is what this is about with the rich young ruler in Matthew 19:21 where Yeshua said “if you want to be perfect, then…”  Or Luke 6:40 “whoever is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.”    By the way this is the answer to it all, we must be perfectly trained in every aspect by our teacher who needs to be Yeshua in order to be like our teacher who was perfect.

In John 17:23 it says “That they may be made perfect in one.”  Keep in mind made into it, not born that way.  And we can only be made into being perfect by the power and wisdom and ways and truth in Yeshua which then goes back to the verse above.  We glory in him, not of ourselves.  He is the one with the answers not me or any other man, we must go to him to learn and then be doers of that word.

We all know the verse of Romans 12:2 “ And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”  This one also gets taken out of context all the time and we ignore that this means exactly what the Lord keeps showing me.  Because how can you be transformed and renew your mind (which is to repent and change to a new mind set).  You cannot nor ever be transformed or have your mind renewed by listening to men teachers or reading your bible.  It can only happen by hearing Yeshua and then obeying.  And this is why men never become perfect in Yeshua’s ways, they do not know him.  They know their religion and the man they call Jesus Christ.  But they do not know the perfect one who can make any man perfect and Holy.  Some people might hear Yeshua or a deceiving spirit speak to them.  But then we need to always look at the fruit we bear from it.  Is it good fruit or bad?

Here in Mexico they put a lot of focus on if the person is “amable” which is agreeable or politically correct.  Which goes against the ways of God, he never agrees with people and dysfunction but instead demands perfection from anyone who dares to follow him.  Always proceed with an “IF” not a demand like you have to do this or else.  God does tell us the consequences if you do not hear him and obey him, but never demands you follow him.  Many people in the days of Yeshua turned and walked away like the rich young ruler, he did not strike them dead on the spot or demand nor the opposite try to negotiate something so they remained with him.  He simply spoke truth and left it like that.

I can go on and on with bible verses speaking of being perfect and how and why.  Please feel free (and this is a suggestion to do it) go to biblegateway and type in perfect for the search, and also holy.  And see how many verses it pulls up and the context of what it is saying.  You will find there is nowhere in the bible where it says you will never achieve being Holy and Perfect.  And many verses which tell you that you must be.

But back to the point, the Lord tells you something, or you get in an argument or heated discussion about some topic and the Lord shows you it over and over to confirm.  Then you go to the bible and seek all the places it says or uses that word, like in this case the word perfect.  And see what the teachings say.  And in this case again there is not even one time it says we will never achieve perfection, and many times it says we must. There is one verse in 1 John 1 which can be twisted to support the claim you cannot, which says “ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”  What they ignore is the verse right before and after which says we can be cleansed of the sin, and it will stop again “IF”.

What John is saying here is when the Spirit of truth comes, and you ignore him saying I am a good man, or what they teach these days in many churches that God pretends to not see our sin anymore it has been covered by the blood of this man Jesus.  Not cleansed or washed clean so it is gone, but covered up.

Yeshua said this is like the white washed tombs where outside they look good, but inside are dead man’s bones. In other words you think you look good and do to most people, but you’re not.

Back to the main and newer point, let God tell you something, then over the next few days he will bring things to you to support it, and or go to the bible and type in the word and let it bring up verses to support it.  If it does not support it then it is from the deceiving spirit.  Same with men teachers, if you hear one, go and see what it says in the bible after by typing in the word or words they taught on.  You will find out quickly the man teacher is lying, although they don’t think so.  But then they are not following and teaching in Spirit and in Truth.  If they were it would all add up when the Spirit of truth showed you it as confirmation.

Keep in mind also as said a few days ago.  The devil also uses scripture to teach his lies and deception.  And the reason there are so many different churches all using the bible as bases, although each one twisting or changing the message some.   How do they all come up with a different doctrine?  Some of the doctrine is not even close to truth, some is very close but just enough off that it keeps the people off.  If after receiving a message, the Lord does not confirm it over and over in the coming days, it is not of God.  The devil lies and cannot tell the truth.  And his lies will change as you confront them with truth, just like this man did.  The devil will have a message at first and then when you stick to the truth and the devil sees he cannot defeat you in that one, he tries another approach.  Remember he tried 3 times to fool Yeshua after he fasted 40 days in the desert.
