I thank you with a sincere heart as I learn your righteous rulings. Psalms 119:7
The past few days a cousin of my wife’s was here, she made a comment to my wife about how much they (her and her sisters) admired her for how she lives. But when my wife started to tell her about how we achieved it, and what we give up for it, she seemed very disinterested. Instead she was more interested in telling my wife how she lives, which is not a very good life. She told of 3 different guys she has had relationships with over the years cheating I thank you with a sincere heart as I learn your righteous rulings.on her husband, who it sounds like they are not married but have just lived together for 18 years. And the husband knows about them. She told how when she gets fat she takes some drugs and the weight goes away. She drank a lot while here, and my wife noticed something health wise which shows it is taking its toll, like yellow in the white of her eyes.
This is a similar story to another post of the nephew and niece and how they work at Mc Don;ads and have nothing, but have money to spend on expensive diamonds and $1,000 shoes. There were other things my wife told me about them and their upbringing I did not know. Which is how their mom had a live-in boyfriend who was video taping our niece in the shower and then tried to molest her one day. The nephew called the police and they came but the mother sided with the boyfriend and kicked the kids out.
Here is the point the Lord was making. It is not luck and not because we are something special that we have what we have accomplished. It was because of making the right decisions. E have learned the Lord’s righteous rulings and then act on them. And when you listen to other peoples stories and see the decisions they make, it is no wonder they get the outcomes they get. Do not be fooled, you will reap what you sow!
In the minds of other people they get this idea they can keep doing the same things without consequences. And maybe they get lucky and end up with an oceanfront home and rentals and a good relationship with husband and wife and kids, good health and nice bodies… All the things they see as a wow thing, how fortunate you are!
But they do not want here about the discipline it takes, the giving up of the right to yourself so God can rule over you and give you the best way to live your life. And then make all your decisions in him and his righteous rulings.
People just cannot grasp this idea of how change is necessary in order to accomplish things. And even if they experience it, they still want to go back or remain in the same way they were. Like my sister who has seen the change in dads health and me telling her before he came what I would do differently and the results. And the results came just as I said. But she still maintains the doctors know best and she keeps going to them and thinks we have to do certain things with dad. It is crazy in my mind how they hear the statement in faith and then see with their own eyes the outcome or results. But still want to keep doing things the same way they always did them, thinking it will give the best results, when it obviously is not???
Another example my wife and I discussed this morning was about our adopted daughters and when they came to live with us. They were on meds for their lungs and after prayer God made it clear to take them off them cold turkey, so we did. Medical people said we would pay a price for it, and actually we did, a good price because before when on the meds, they were in and out of the hospital and almost died a few times. Since we took them off they have had no issues and never seen a hospital again. We do not vaccinate, and people tell us how sickly our kids will be and could die, but our kids are healthier than most, no normal issues like ear infections, adhd… And there are many studies which show that vaccinated kids are much more prone to these issues than unvaccinated. Not to mention how many die or end up with serious disabilities from vaccines.
But it is not because of the choices to live in the Lord’s righteous rulings, we are just really lucky!?!?!
