If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
God uses the word IF all the time, he never makes you surrender and do it his way, it is always an IF. But the IF is a big word because there are consequences when you do the opposite. And the basic decision, only decision is to either humble yourself (which God means you stop making your own decisions thinking you know how to live your life better than he can direct your steps). And instead of making those decisions you have the right to make if you want to, but you choose instead to pray to God seeking his wisdom on how to live a better life, then hear him and obey him, turning from your wicked ways and to the Lords ways. Then he will take you out of the sewer hole you live in, clean you up and make you presentable to the Father.
This is not some instant miraculous change because of a prayer or ceremony. It is a process where the Lord shows you things about yourself, who you are and what you are, shining his light into you and you change accordingly. If you decide to ignore a part of the light and not do that work. Or choose to keep certain things of limit to the light because you really do not want to lose control of it. And because the religions have no idea of anything of this kind of surrender to tell you about, you believe you have full rights to keep things to yourself and still have a relationship with Yashua which will result in salvation.
This is a lie, God expects you to surrender everything, to let go of everything and obey him in everything. Many times the Lord has shown me this simple point, and yesterday I wrote about it in detail. Today he added to this point, which is normal, Yashua keeps building on the same point driving it deeper and deeper into your soul so you understand and no confusion.
But today he made a very deep point that there are many people who know of him, most have an idea of him which is not even close to who the Son of God is, mostly because they do not really like the true God and how difficult and demanding his ways are. The much p[refer their version of a God who allows them to live their life anyway they want to and they get to boss him around, there prayers are demanding of which he never hears.
But today the main point of Yashua is there are some walking on the narrow path, but keep one foot in the world. They hear him and obey on certain points, yet do not want to let go of the control in certain areas of life, so they walk this fine line between the two worlds trying to balance things. Normally it is two things they really do not want to let go of. Normally money and the making and spending of it. And second relationships, we tend to put family and or friends in front of Gods will for them and you. Somehow we think we know better on how we should treat and act around friends and family than God knows, so we put down our foot against it.
Many so called Christians (which again that word came about in the 300’s from the Greek translation of Messians and is not an acceptable term with Yashua. He is not just another god, he is the only way to the Father). Anyways these people will tell you that money is important because their god Jesus talked about it a lot. And Yashua did talk a lot about money and also relationships as these are the two things which derail us the most from knowing the full truth of Yahweh. Add in power or success financially speaking or success in climbing the corporate ladder or a political or religious leader and these are the things that derail you the most.
Yashua spoke of religious leaders as “Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Messiah. But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
The points the Messiah is making to me on this verse is mostly in conjunction with the point of control and power over the other people, loving the best seats and people to recognize them and honor them. But Yashuia makes it clear, we are to make only one our teacher or Rabbi, the Messiah because we are all brothers. Keep in mind when I write for anyone to read, it is not to teach, it is to fulfill what Yashua expects of us, to share what he has taught me because of my direct relationship with him, pointing out how corrupt the religious whore system has becomes. And pushing you towards knowing him so you understand also. Because no man can teach you unto righteousness, only Yashua can.
Which brings us up to the next point, how the falling away of the church has happened. When you read the above verse, the Pharisees at least were telling the followers to do good works, they were just hypocrites telling men what to do and then not doing them. Yashua continued by saying “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.
Yashua has made it clear to me that the current “Christian” teachings are not even close to anything God has taught over the years from the very beginning, with each day it is getting worse. The only similarity is they still have God on their lips, but their hearts are far from him, offering up the doctrine of men as the commandments of God. The difference is the doctrine keeps getting watered down to find a god acceptable to the majority of the people so they can fill up their church seats. Because men only want to hear what they want to hear, and the true God with his wisdom or light is not what they want to hear. So they ignore the light and bring judgment on themselves.
Two more points this morning from Yashua. First is those who put their hand to the plow but turn and look back. There are a few followers who come to know or hear Yashua and obey on certain points, but when something comes up they do not like and Yashua tells them to let go. To let go of the control, power, finances… They put up a wall to stop the Lord from that area of their life. What we do not get is this is why the Lord cannot sanctify you ort make you Holy and righteous. Paritally because they have an idea of how righteousness should look in their eyes and by keeping this back from the Lord their eyes are blinded from the truth of how it should be. So when a man who did completely surrender and follows Yashua only comes along, they do not like some of the things in this man because it goes against their religious views of who God is supposed to be. This keeps them in sin.
The second point Yashua made to me was about the lazy ones which is the worst in his eyes. On one hand he preached about helping the poor, but on another hand he taught about the lazy. Normally and especially today the lazy are the poor. Today a lame man can still make a very good living, where in the days of Yashua if you were blind or lame or a widow, you had no means to make a living.
But he made the point that when you think about it, it is the poor who smoke and drink heavy and eat trash food. Not 100% of the time, but close. As a perfect example I look at those who bought into my condo complex, out of 8 units not one smokes and none of us sits in bars getting drunk all day. Not one of us is fat, although a few could stand to lose a few pounds. And most of my buyers are around 80 years old and are not taking a lot of meds.
But most of the workers who came to work on our condo project have no money, yet around half smoked, many did drugs on and off (although my head man did not and would get rid of anyone doing drugs or drinking on the job). Most were un healthy eating trash food they spent a lot of money at convenience stores buying trash food. And drinking trash drinks like coke instead of bringing water and their lunch.
This is why they are poor, and I can tell you the Lord has never lead me to give extra to them to help them financially. I also never paid them less than agreed upon, what right is right. In more developed countries like the Us it exist also but the problem is the government makes you responsible for the lazy ones who do not want to work, and those who do work low end paying jobs and then act like the above, smoking, drinking, eating trash foods which are expensive compared to a healthy homemade meal… We have to pay for their health insurance and medical expenses because the government taxes us to do so. And even more they get all kinds of tax rebates or credits which then come back to them in the form of tax refunds so they can keep spending money foolishly.
This system is NOT right with God although most religions will push it as good with God. Yashua said in the parable of the talents they would take from the lazy one and give to the one who had 8, where our government system does the opposite, it is taking it from the ones who work hardtop make 2 into 4 and 4 into 8, and then give it to the lazy ones who do not work. And we call it good and righteous and then wonder why God does not bless us and make us Holy and Righteous. This is an easy way to take care of the poor by the way, because if we left it up to the people to decide who to give money to and who not instead of stealing it from your taxes or printing money out of thin air to give to the poor. In other words you do not directly give your money to anyone, you really do not see it happen. Then it does not seem like a bad idea. If you had the money in your pocket and had to decide if you were going to give it to the guy who smokes, does drugs and gets drunk, eating trash foods… Then you would think twice and probably say no.
These are examples of how we ignore the truth of Yashua in favor of our own doctrine and ideas of who we want God to be. And how our god is different from the true living God and what he expects. And the judgment is this, he shows his light and truth to those who will listen so they come to understand what he expects and then obey the truth and follow him in all ways. Every single aspect of how his Kingdom is. They keep nothing back, instead they do it all for the glory of God.
This is why very few find the narrow path, it is difficult and not easy to give up all your own ideas and ways to live. And live 100% in Yashua. But it is also the most rewarding life you could ever live.
God is Love, but our definition of love is very different than his. And he is all knowing, all powerful. His ways are perfect and your ways never can be. So unless you let go of your ways and seek his voice and do it his way, there is no room for you in the Kingdom of God. God does not negotiate or water down his doctrine or ways of entering the Kingdom. You either decide to hear and obey him in everything or not. But if you choose not to then it is the same thing which is keeping you from being perfect in him
One last thing the Lord reminded me of, it was a bible study I was at once where we were studying the verses from 1 John 3 speaking exactly about this and perfection and how a true believer would not sin because they cannot sin. It is crystal clear what is written, yet somehow in their minds they twisted it to mean something else. If you know Yashua you would know he means it exactly how it is written.
Anyways a lady in the group asked me or made the comment, “don’t you ever want to cheat just a little or one time?” Two points of this comment, first of all she did not know Yashua or she would know this is not an option. We do not get to pick and choose which things we want to obey and which we don’t. You either know him and his ways and love them more than your own ways and obey because you see how perfect his ways are and how evil your own can be. Or you remain in the dark because you hold something’s or maybe all things back from him and practice some sort of religion instead, serving your idea of a more agreeable god.
