A few different verses the Lord threw at me to make a point. The above, this morning after talking with my wife last night about how the people are these days and how religious they are with no form of godliness. And then he taught me about it, as in the scriptures and showing me it has always been like this, although the sexual sin is at an all time high with things being done today they would have never considered years ago because it did not exist. Like sex changes, cross dressing, gay mariages… Things even accepted into some of the whore church system.
He then reminded me of how Paul wrote about the fact he wished he was accursed. In other words a part of him wishes it was like before he came to know God and his righteousness. And how God shows you your unrighteousness and then you start seeing it in other people. The same ones who think they are “good people.” With the whore hypocritical religious people leading it all. A part of me wants the old days when I did not notice all the dysfunction in how we choose to live apart from God. And how now it is so obvious that it is not in the Lord Yeshua and not acceptable to God and giving us sonship.
Which is the next verse he showed about how a slave does not abide in the house of the Father forever, but a son does. We are all creations of God, but not all are his sons of righteousness.
Then he brought in the verse about the gifts of the Spirit and how against such gifts there is no law. And made the same point as before that he dealt with the sin on the cross, it is over. BUT, he did not deal with the human nature in you and your rights to decide what you want to believe and follow. That decision is yours. But the minute you decide to obey the Lord (see the first verse above). Then you will sin no more, there will be a fight, but you will be equipped to win that fight and win the prize. Yes you will probably fall short of the glory of God from time to time initially, but as you grow in the Spirit you learn to defeat the devil at his game.
Yeshua likened it to us wrestling with satan. Man equips us with a bible and their teachings, and of course we will fall short and get our buts kicked. But when you decide to let the Spirit show you your darkness and then choose to walk in the light as he is in the light. You then learn how to defeat satan and win the match, because now your coach is the best coach, the one who created satan. And the one who knows how to defeat him. And actually has the power to call satan off of you. Because satan must obey God’s commands also, even though he is the adversary.
I have seen this play out in my life, and now I am seeing it play out in my wifes life as she decided she no longer wants to live with her fleshly desires. Which is the next thing Yeshua made the point of.
The religious people first of all ignore their dysfunction which leads to sin. But in the rare event they recognize it, they just accept it as being OK, and think because of what they are taught it is OK with God and he accepts it and also thinks you cannot defeat it. Why is this?
Because the religions are the whore. They tell us a different story than the one God tells us. This is why they are the whore.
My wife went through the different steps or excuses. First, like it isn’t a big deal and why it was OK and even necessary. Then she came to realize it is not good, but blamed her upbringing as the problem, which is most of it for sure. And that it is ingrained in her and she cannot stop it. So the religious part came into play. BUT because I kept pressing her about it, and encouraging her to fight the good fight, and run the race in such a way to win the prize. That she can defeat this strong hold on her with the help of God. And that it is not a sin issue but an issue of hanging onto her emotions, her selfishness (which we all have to different degrees). Her jealousy, enviousness, greed… The things against the Spirit of God. These are the things keeping her in the final outcome of sinning. Once you start to stop feeding the lust of the flesh, and instead seek the gifts of the Spirit, peace, joy, love, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and faith. Then the final outcome changes from a sinful dysfunctional one to a Godly one.
This is our fight, the same fight the religious men teachers tell us we do not have to fight. That Yeshua did it all on the cross, but he did not do that one, if he did then we would not have freedom of choice would we? This one we must fight the good fight on, each of us individually in the Spirit of God. I cannot fight that for anyone, and no one can fight it for me. We can pray for each other so that the Spirit of God would do his work in us and other people so they start to see this truth. Because unless one is called by the Father, he cannot find the son. BUT, what good Father would give his son a stone if he asked for bread? If you truly are seeking you will find, knock and the door will be opened. The problem is we do not seek, we do not knock, why? Because the religious lies which tell us we do not have to, the whore church system.
So get a couple of things out of your head, the first one is that it is finished and we do not have to do anything. Second one that you can defeat sin in your life, but to learn how. Because it is not defeated by trying really hard or taking satan on one on one with each sin. He will win. We can only defeat him in the truth, the truth which sets us free. And that truth does not deal with sin, because again that was finished on the cross, the lamb of God took away the sins of the world. But the truth is the fight is in the flesh versus the Spirit. Paul wrote a lot about this, how the war is in principle, a fight between the Spirit and the flesh. Each of us must fight this fight until we can say as Paul wrote, “I fought the good fight and won, I ran the good race and won the prize…” Early on he was fighting, and fell short from time to time, and thus the grace of God which was sufficient. But the grace of God is not so you can ignore the Spirit of God and remain in the flesh which then keeps you in sin. You have to seek, knock, fight the good fight, finish the race and or run it in such a way as to win the prize.
This is the thing the religious people get wrong, they do not tell you this part because they do not know anything about it, and they do not want to offend anyone so they leave their church. They seem to think it is good enough to ge to heaven with them so lets not offend anyone so they leave and end up in hell. I have had people tell me this lie.
Lets tie this up, and jump back to my wife. Who over the years has been like the waves of the ocean tossed to and fro. And I go from this deep love with her to her hating me, almost. And I keep thinking this is the last time that she finally gets it and will remain in God. Well this time I feel very comfortable in saying she has finally come to understand the truth which will set her free. She is seeing the lies of the church system and how it holds you back. How it gives you excuses to remain in the flesh and sin. And she is seriously feeling the peace which comes from God, and how incredible it is to live in that peace instead of the ups and downs of the flesh controlled by satan. I would be surprised to see her go back, or if she does only to a level where I can tell her or remind her about the peace of God and how it works so she stops and comes back.
Once you see God! That is to see who he is and what he is after, like Job found and many others. And experience his peace, joy, love… faith. It really is not possible to go back to the sinfulness of the world. You crave that peace, joy and love above all things.
Remember in the end of times God seperate the goats fro mteh sheep!
