When I learn your righteous judgments. We all must learn the ways of the Lord, no one is righteous by way of the first birth. One must die unto himself to be born again. Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it cannot spring up and produce.
Last night a few guys were over at my house and two of us got into a debate about the bible and salvation or knowing God. He was strong on the side that it is a must, I was making the point, it is not necessary. He said the bible is the word of God, I said no its not. And the debate started.
Without going into a big story of our debate, I want to make the point that God is and has many times made to me. Because it is the answer no matter if you want to hear it or not. The short answer is Yeshua was and still is the word. The bible did not even come into existence until 300 AD, and even then because there was not a printing press it was not circulated where people had copies of it. That did not occur until the 1,600’s. Then on top of it when the bible was created by men under the direction of the emperor of Rome, Constantine at the time. Many things were changed and deleted. Many writings were never put into the bible. Even the name of the son of God was changed to Jesus Christ from Yeshua. It is clear in the bible written in Deuteronomy to not change a thing, do not add or take away… Yet men did, making doctrine to suit the majority of the people. And most people because they are lazy just want men to tell them what to believe and take care of them. They never check things for truth themselves. So it is very easy to fool the majority, and satan is the master at fooling and lying to people so they believe the lie.
So the bible, cannot be the word, it is not all truth, there are many examples of inconsistencies in it. I threw one out to the guy debating last night, he tried to make light of it, but I did not let him. Nor did he let me. But here is the thing, it does not matter if he gave in or I did, what matters is what is truth. Because the truth is the only thing that sets you free. I know the truth, I hear him and obey at all costs. And that was the message I made over and over last night. Hear and obey the Lord, he is the only one who can make you perfect in him, build you up to fly on eagles wings.
Many will think, does it really matter, the short is yes it matters a lot. When you make the bible or anything other than God your word, you can and will be fooled. There are different things this man says that shows he has a way to go in his walk with God, and there are also things which show he is on the right path, just needs more time. But also it is not about time completely because he has heard God speak to him much longer than me, yet recently Yeshua told him “you will not get out of the desert until you die.” This is why I know he is on the right path, we all must die unto ourselves to be born again, to come to know the truth. Many things we think to be true are not, we believe the lie, and the lie must die in us in order to accept the truth. And here is the simple truth.
The word must be Yeshua, the bible cannot and will not give you truth. The devil quotes bible verses and twists them for his benefit as easily as Yeshua will tell you things. And the bible will never put a thought in your mind when you are looking or heading down the wrong road, and give you the option to stop and turn back (do not quench the Spirit of truth). Yeshua does not need anything to lead you unto righteousness, he can do it without any help from anyone or anything. When David wrote this above, he did not have scripture or a bible to teach him truth, he knew God to listen to him and then mostly obey. He did disobey at times and he and his people paid heavy prices for the disobedience. But David also repented every time and came back to the Lord.
Abraham never had nothing, at his time there was not even the torah or any written anything. That came with Moses. And Abraham had parents worshipping false gods, and the Lord told him to leave, so he did without knowing where he was going, he heard and obeyed the voice in his head, and because of it, he was considered righteous because of obedience.
You can read all the stories of these men and come to understand what I am saying, none of them had a bible, they had wisdom and instruction from the Lord. And today it is even more so because we can actually receive the Holy Spirit “IF” you die unto yourself. satan knows this, and why he is so strong in giving you lies to keep you from dying onto yourself, lies like the bible is the word of God. When the bible says clearly the word became flesh and dwelt amongst us.
Now, obviously I have quoted many bible verses, so I have read it many times over. And even in its changed version, the Lord can and will use it when he teaches you. But he does not “NEED” the bible to teach you. If he did all the men for 1,000’s of years up to the 1,600’s are in hell because they did not have a bible. Now what kind of God would that be? One that requires you to have and read a bible and did not even give you one until the last few 100 years?
If you do not get the point yet, it is simple: do not really depend on anything or anyone to be your teacher, except the Lord Yeshua, your Messiah. Let him decide what he will use to teach you, but you must hear him and obey him unto righteousness, there is no other way. And this is what David knew when he wrote the above verse. Because it was God almighty teaching him righteousness. Not Samuel, not King Saul, not a book… He had nothing else to teach him other than God, and again same with Abraham, Issac and Jacob…
Don’t believe me about this one, ask the Lord yourself. Because I am a man and subject to being wrong. But I also know everything the Lord has shown me, and this is one of the biggest ones, making the current religious system your education and support system, and the bible your word of God. It is a lie of satan that just keeps you from knowing all truth and righteousness. Make Yeshua your God and let him use what he will (including the scriptures) to teach you. But do not make them your teacher. If you do you will never be made perfect and salvation will NOT be yours.
Which was another point made last night, this guy made the comment that he does not know if the normal christian is saved or not with their doctrine. To which I made the point no they are not. And that is the problem, we want the wide and easy path to salvation, but it is not the right one or way. They do not even believe in the right son of God, Yeshua. They believe in a made up god named Jesus Christ, one who makes the easy and wide path acceptable unto salvation. Even though it is in black and white telling us from the mouth of Yeshua that it is not.
I also told him about the book from Peter and his writing of the apocalypse. And how it profoundly hit me the eternal fire and basically torture for ever. I do not want to see anyone suffer like that forever, but that all would come unto righteousness in Yeshua. And I know because Yeshua shows me, almost all religious people will not be in the Kingdom of God but will suffer according to their sins for eternity.
As it tells us in John’s accounts of the book of revelations, there will be people inside the church that wash themselves clean in the blood and put on their white garments and have their names written in the book of life. But out of the 7 churches at the time, the number of them was very little. And obviously anyone not in the church of Yeshua was certainly not going to the kingdom of God. So the short is that the percentage of men entering into the Kingdom was well below 1%, I would be surprised if it is even as high as it was then today. Yet today because the bible and men teachers are our word of God, we believe everyone in the church system we belong to, or anyone who said the sinner’s prayer, or… is going to heaven. But the truth is only the ones who listen to and obey Yeshua and his Spirit on each and every thing he tells us to do, they are the only ones going to heaven. There is NO WAY to perfect you and lead you unto righteousness without you hearing him and obeying him. It is impossible!
