Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Ephesians 5:4-7
Being deceived with empty words, which is the doctrine you want to believe in, and that is what keeps you in the wrath of God because you do not obey his commands. As always we are not talking about the 10 commandments or the Torah, those laws were given because the Hebrews asked for them. We are talking about obeying the commandments God gives directly to you because you hear him.
God was showing me and has been a lot lately. About how we read scriptures or listen to men teachers tell us how we should act. And then come up with our own doctrine which then translates into doing things our own ways because of it. I can tell you my old life in the flesh, before knowing Yeshua. And who I am today because I know and obey the Lord Yeshua, these are two very different men. And the difference is in how we see doctrine as men in the flesh and how the Lord will show us when we hear and listen. This is why he is the truth, because we believe in the lies we are told, and the men telling us these lies also believe the same thing. And the other problem is you cannot tell that person they are wrong and show them a few verses like this one which blows their doctrine up, because they do not see or hear what you are saying. They do not want to.
Instead they use certain tactics to remain in their doctrine and sin. The first one is to completely ignore what you said. They can read a verse like this and still go back to their idols like the catholics do, and which I did for 20 plus years. You can read a verse like this and still push the saved by grace doctrine as if your works are not going to be judged. How do you believe that when the verse (and many others) tell you directly you will receive God’s wrath on you when you are disobedient?
We are judged on our works, are they works of righteousness because they were done in obedience to God? Or were they works of disobedience because we did not hear and obey the Lord? The Lord cannot save you if you do not obey him. If you knew God like I do, you would know the truth in this statement, and why.
To try to explain it to you, we are not capable of doing good works in the flesh, it is impossible. And this is why Paul wrote “that all things are possible with God.” Because in God, that is in hearing and obeying you are in him. And your works will be according to his will and therefore will be good or righteous works. Keep in mind what we see as righteous or good works, he sees as bad and vice versa. And we can only know his will by being obedient, and sometimes we do not know until we know.
A good example of this is with the Iran and US and Israel war. Because of certain things written in scripture, many “christians” think we need to defend Israel, but should we?
When we read the old testament, look how many times the Lord Adonai left the Israelites to the enemy. This happened over and over, so if another country stood up for the Israelites, they also would have been standing in the way of God and would have been destroyed.
On the other hand, look at how many times God stood up for the Israelites and destroyed the enemy, but only when they were in obedience. The other question in my mind is who is really the bad guy (country) here in this fight? Living here in Mexico and seeing things you would never see in the US, I can tell you that almost everytime the real enemy is the US with all the wars and conflicts they get into. It is the same as with being a democrat or republican, they are pitted against each other, pointing fingers as to who is wrong and why. Each side ignoring their own unrighteousness and pointing out the unrighteousness of the other party.
We see how the media pushes one or the other agenda, but when it comes to the wars or conflicts with outside countries, there is only one side shown, and normally it is a big lie.
For example there is a lot of evidence the world trade centers were an inside job, I am not going into the conspiracy theories about it and who and why. But there is extremely compelling evidence it was staged and not the Taliban they claimed it was.
My point is not to debate if it was or was not. The point is I believe it was a set up and the main reason for it was to destroy a lot of documents and steal gold stored in the basement of the twin towers. And the best alibi was the Taliban.
So let’s look at Iran and the Islamic men. Yes there are some bad duds, but there is also in the US men. So we are back to pointing fingers at each other. If we left Iran alone, there would probably never be a problem.
We create the problem through the lies we want to side with, and which men we want to side with. When the men running the US government are all extremely evil, just choose which evil or poison you want, because you only have two options of evil. Republican or Democrat. Communism or democracy…
To make a point about communism or democracy, which is better? To me they are both the same. They both have a form of minimum wages for the poor people. But they both have billionaire businessmen also. They both have central banks stealing all the money while driving up serious debt to do so. And in the end they both will end the same, broke and the ones paying the cost are the normal citizens while the elites walk away once again with all the money.
As a side note, I would never vote for communism in my country, or any type of socialism. There is no question it is a quicker death or break point, and does the opposite of what it speaks of in the bible.
To make a point, explain to me how social security is not a social program? Same with Medicare and medicaid, food stamps… All these things are social programs, not really different than communism, just packaged in a different way.
Back to the point again, everyone pointed fingers as to who is the bad guy and who is the hero, when they all are evil in the eyes of God. Your doctrine does not count, you must hear and obey the Lord. And maybe he agrees and tells the US to blow them to hell. But maybe the Lord would have told the US to make peace with Iran instead? Iran cannot be that bad, or why are they in the brics and get along with most of those countries. So why is there such a conflict with the US and Israel and not China or Russia?
The point is that good and righteous works depend on God, not on what you hear from other men and draw a conclusion about and support one side or the other accordingly.
This is why there are so many problems in the world, and why so many people ask the question “if there was a god, why does he allow these problems?” This is why, we do not ask him and take matters into our own hands and then pay the price from it. We do it while lying and twisting and hiding certain truths and instead telling little lies that make one side the good guy and the other side the bad guy. At least in their own eyes.
I see it also with arguments between spouses and parents to kids. Because we are selfish and want our own way, we twist things and flat out lie, talk over people when we have no answer for the truth and they tell us the truth, or flat out ignore it. We find other people to side up with us, which is easy to do. If you want to get a divorce and you are a toxic person, you find other divorced toxic people to support you. But the last person you would go to is the one who would tell you how you are wrong and call you on your lies. Keep in mind with marriage or kids, it takes two to tango, so you both have to look deep inside to see what you are doing wrong to make it right. But instead we do the opposite and then wonder why we are divorced and broke and miserable??? And why would God allow something like this to happen? It is not God’s fault, it is ours for being evil and not listening to his good news and repenting to do things according to his good will where these problems would not happen.
This is why I look forward to heaven, NO ONE in Heaven gets there by disobeying the Lord. And if you show you are obedient and stay obedient, which you will. Then where can any of these worldly problems come from? This world is not the Kingdom of Yeshua, this world is a testing ground to see who of us will follow the real doctrine and be obedient to the truth, live in the truths way and by his light (wisdom). Because the truth is the only way to the Father.
