Love, happiness and or manipulation?

Y’hudah, the one who was betraying him, then asked, “Surely, Rabbi, you don’t mean me?” He answered, “The words are yours.”  Matthew 26:25

The thing the Lord keeps showing me the last few days is about wisdom, and or lack of wisdom.  And manipulation and how people try to use it.  When we look at the above verse, when Yeshua was about to be betrayed by Y’huda or Judas as the new bible name is.  And Judas knows he is the one who is going to do it.  And Yeshua knows he is the one who is going to do it.  You cannot fool the Lord, he sees you in the dark and the light, he knows everything that is in your heart and mind.  Yet Judas tries to trick or manipulate Yeshua and the other disciples.  How does he think he would get away with this?

This is where the wisdom of God comes in, if he had the wisdom of God, and keep in mind this man followed Yeshua for all these months and knew him, yet he still thought he could fool him?

I watch all the manipulation which is out there these days, from the governments, big money billionaires and trillionaires (although you really do not see these trillionaires as they control things behind the curtain).  They manipulate us with telling us which foods we should eat, to trick us into taking meds or drugs instead of changing diets.  The mind games they play are amazing.  How they give you what you ask for and then take it and more away from you out the back door.  How they have completely made up a financial system which is all smoke and mirrors, it has nothing backing it and yet we work in the system like it is the real thing and the real assets are not.

Everything is manipulated or is a lie.  Yet we believe it and cannot see how it is a lie.  The problem is we do not question it or seek truth or wisdom.  James writes about wisdom and says this:  “Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously and without reproach; and it will be given to him.”  “Let him demonstrate it by his good way of life, by actions done in the humility that grows out of wisdom.  But if you harbor in your hearts bitter jealousy and selfish ambition, don’t boast and attack the truth with lies!  This wisdom is not the kind that comes down from above; on the contrary, it is worldly, unspiritual, demonic.  For where there are jealousy and selfish ambition, there will be disharmony and every foul practice. But the wisdom from above is, first of all, pure, then peaceful, kind, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.  1:5, 3:13-17

Wisdom of God will bring good results.  The fruit you will bear will be good fruit, if the so called wisdom is of the world it won’t turn out good or be good fruit.

Here is the important point, when you are in this world and live in the world, you really do not see the dysfunction of it and are consumed by other things of the world.  We do not see how the sins of others really affects you when you live according to the world and the lust of it.  It is only when you seek God and to do his will that you see it and want nothing to do with it.

This morning God gave me two quick comments.  People seek to be happy or seek happiness.  But a man of God seeks God for God.  Who he is and to obey him.  Happiness is of the devil, and a man cannot achieve happiness.  He might have some moments of great or extreme pleasure or enjoyment, like watching your baby being born, or have sex with that most beautiful woman you ever thought about.  But those moments leave and when they do they leave a void or worse.  Maybe the child born ends up being the worst child ever, full of problems for you, and or leaves you like my older three daughters did, never to talk with you again.  And maybe that woman you thought was the best looking ever turns out to be extremely possessive and or the most manipulative ever, making your life the worst.  We all have seen movies where this has happened.

This is my experience with God and his wisdom, it is always excellent.  This does not mean you never have a bad day or time with God, because it is actually the opposite with him, he lets the test come, and sometimes heats the fire ten times hotter, just to show you in the end he is the one in charge and is using these fires to refine you and burn off the ropes that bound you.  (Read the story of the 3 Hebrews in Daniel).  But after the fire is over and you are out of it.  You see why that fire was necessary and what you obtained for going through it.  Most of us get consumed by the fire because we have no faith in God and what he is doing and the fire makes the condition of your spirit worse.

For example when my older daughters stopped seeing me and speaking with me, it was the most difficult thing ever, and I cried about it like anyone else would.  The pain was incredible.  But through it I seeked God and his truth and the comfort came, the pain stopped.  Now I hardly ever even think of them, and see it as a blessing because if they had remained in my life, I would still be in Iowa and not have my wife and 3 kids here.  Living on the ocean instead of in corn fields.  I’d still be worldly and in the same dysfunction I was seeking to get out of and why I left my ex.

Which by the way regarding my divorce, and how the religious people see things versus how God sees things.  The religious people hide in their sins, and cover them up, yet are very quick to point out your sins from the past.  The ones a true follower of Yeshua no longer does.  With God it is not how many sins you committed or which ones.  It is did you truly repent according to his way and truth, and you stopped doing them.  Or are you still doing them?  Even the smallest sin will still end you up in heaven if you are practicing it.  Where even the biggest sin is forgiven if you truly have repented and come to know God and obey him unto righteousness.  The religious men push this idea you can never be made Holy as he is Holy and will always sin.  But the truth is in him you cannot sin, he gives you instructions to follow so you will not sin.  The temptation still comes, but his truth has set you free so you no longer follow that temptation into sin.  It does not mean you never would, because sometimes people do.  But the power of the Lord Yeshua is much greater than the power of satan and the lust of the flesh.

So the manipulation comes because if you say anything about walking in the true spirit of God without sinning, they immediately attach things like “you still are in sin because you are divorced.”  But what you have to remember is the marriage and divorce happened when I was still walking in the flesh.  Second it was the huge issues like my kids not talking to me any more because of my ex that caused me to find God.  And third point is how it ties into the point above, where you find an amazing short period of time you think is happiness and it turns out to be a nightmare.  Because at first I really had fun with my ex, but it all turned, and when we actually got divorced it really turned for the worst.  I’ve experienced first hand both of my examples above about happiness, and how you can never achieve it.

Even now with my current wife, she does not make me happy, there are times when it is the opposite as there are times when she is anything but happy with me.  However we have a strong relationship and growing stronger because I seek the truth in Yeshua and so is she.  And as we both do this, our relationship and Love grows stronger.  The Love of God which is another verse he showed me today from 1 Corinthians 13:  “Love is patient and kind, not jealous, not boastful, not proud, rude or selfish, not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.”

The closer the two of us follow this Godly love, the more in the worldly idea of love we are.  It is not magical, it is truth.  I seek the truth of God and not happiness.
