The word “simple” seems to be an ongoing thing for teaching. But to keep a distinct difference between living a simple life and remaining simple minded. Because there is a difference.
To be simple minded means you remain without wisdom because you shun the light. There are simple minded who see the light and allow it to give wisdom to them, I would be one of them. And there are those who are not simple minded and full of the knowledge of the world and have an extremely difficult time overcoming this, and why the Lord Yashua said what he did about the rich young ruler. It is not only that he was rich in monetary wealth but also rich in knowledge. The knowledge of the tree of life as mentioned with Adam is the knowledge of the world which goes against the things of God and his wisdom.
What religions do is try to combine the two, they make the bible the word of God and put men teachers up to tell them what it means, but then only listen to the ones they like to hear or believe in. If the doctrine of the men goes against what they want to believe or how they see it, then they will not listen. So they heap up men telling them what their itching ear wants to hear, and the god of this world, satan is quick to give them what they want to hear.
You must understand, the path to the Kingdom is very narrow and difficult to find, but the wide path leading to destruction. It is those who are born again who enter, but to be born again one must become like a baby (simple minded) or in other words no agenda of their own, no other education of the world to compete. This is the difficult thing about the true doctrine, because our minds are like a computer and what you let in is what your mind believes.
It is not about doctrine, it is about knowing the Lord Yashua, but then at the same time it is about doctrine because once again our minds are formed by what information we let in it. If our information is worldly, we will make it fit our beliefs with and about God. Then it is impossible to hear God when he speaks to us because his truth goes against our lies which as Yashua said originate with satan, the liar and murderer from the beginning.
The real battle is there, in our mind. Paul wrote in Ephesians 6:12 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” And this is what Paul was speaking of, as was Yashua when he spoke those harsh words to the Pharisees. We must understand this simple point, all of our understanding is wrong. Yashua when he teaches a man does not build on what he has already learned because he knows what is in man and it is evil (although we do not see ourselves as evil). Yashua tears us down to the floor completely and then rebuilds us complete, just as we can do with a computer, take everything off it and start again.
Watching all this play out in real life is another thing. And dealing with men who are so engrained in the knowledge of men and believing all the lies (keep in mind those lies have a lot of truth to them, they are just tainted a little or a lot here and their). So when the truth comes along there is no possible way that truth is truth in their minds.
As an example I have one facebook friend who I get in debates (arguments) with often. He is extremely worldly and most of our debates are about health. He is very much about western medicine, and as you know I have nothing to do with it. He comes with an argument all the time about show me medical proof for what you’re talking about or claiming. But here is the problem, the corrupt people in charge immediately get rid of anything submitted which proves a natural cure, and they twist the information to support their claims. And I cannot even prove this very easily because anyone saying something like this is immediately dismissed by the “Professional men teachers with the degrees.”
However two reasons I know the majority of the things they push are really wrong is first and foremost the Lord Yashua shows me clearly. But then second of all I see it in the fruit we bear by following it. Keep this in mind, everything written so far. The knowledge of the world is opposite of the wisdom of God. satan is in charge and makes it that way. So unless you are seriously seeking truth which most are not, they are seriously seeking to justify their truth and way and not seeking for the real truth in Yashua. You will find information out there to feel like you are correct in your beliefs. This is the hardest thing to overcome in life, believing in a Spirit you cannot see who is telling you things which are opposite of what you learned and go against all the things your family and friends talk of, yet you must hear and obey this Spirit in order to be born again and enter into the Kingdom.
This is why Yashua told Thomas “blessed is he who does not see yet still believes.” It takes HUGE courage (courage is not even the right word but there is really not one that works for what this is about.) But when you look at the fruit (the end results) then you see if what you are following is good or evil. In my life, using health as the example. 100% of the people I know who do what we have done are healthy. They really watch what they eat and exercise. Now on the other side it is not 100% of those who do not eat right and do not exercise are sick to the point of death. But most have issues and a growing list of them.
I use my mom and dad as examples all the time, I told them to change what they eat and they never did. I told them to exercise, and my mom sort of did. She would go to their home gym but her actions were worthless. She used to tell me you wait until you’re my age and you will see. Well the funny things is I am the age she was at that time and my body is the same as it was in college when playing football. I weight around 200 to 205 then and do now. And have more or less the same body shape. Now age is a little of an issue, but most of it is effort and a determination to not let the decay of age win easily. My parents both decided to stay in the world when I called them out of it, and they both have or did suffer a lot from the decision. In looking at my extended family as well, grandparents, uncles and aunts same thing, the cancer and heart issues or strokes in my family are way out of line with normal numbers. Out of 21 I am counting which is all of them, 7 had cancer with 5 dying from cancer and 2 with cancer died from something else with one still living. 3 had strokes, one a heart attach. So the health issues in my family, grandparents and uncles aunts is big with many dying well below age expectancy like my mom at 73. My grana at 64, an aunt at around 45, another uncle at 72, another around 70… All of them ate according to the world.
So how do you explain that 5 of us who eat healthy have no health issues and good bodies, and out of 21 others only one remains pretty healthy and looks fit? She is around 80. Looking at brothers and sisters the same thing, Most are fat and unhealthy and younger than us. Not all of them but most of them. Even nieces and nephews, many are obese and some have health problems, our 3 kids, nothing. These are from 2 different countries and traditions. They do NOT eat right and do NOT take care of their health. And it shows 100% of the time.
I also used to take a little survey when I was selling health and life insurance, and would ask those who answered no to all the questions, You eat good right? And every time they said yes and we had a discussion of how or what they ate. The unhealthy ones always ate trash, always. So how is anyone going to convince me seeing a doctor with a worldly medical degree because he knows better than you, that I should think they are correct and going to make me healthy and prolong my life? I do not need man made scientific nonsense to tell me anything, I have fruit to compare.
Last night we had a birthday party for two people, one of which was Cinthya’s brother who turned 43, or 17 years less than me. Maybe I am blind and see myself as something different than I am, but when I look at him (and he eats trash all the time.) I see myself more youthful. He has more wrinkles, more body fat and no tone as he does not work out. He has lost a lot of hair and has to use reading glasses which I have my hair and can read good without glasses.
The same can be said about Cinthya and her younger sisters. Both look older and out of shape, the younger one went through menopause many years ago and looks really old. My wife looks amazing, phenomenal actually.
Our kids have excellent bodies, healthy skin, and when we got the girls from adoption they were fat and had major breathing problems. Interestingly both the girls and my wife were told by doctors they would be on meds for life and my wife would be in a wheel chair by now. None of the three take any meds and my wife is nowhere near needing a wheel chair. At 50 I would put her up against almost any woman out there regarding fitness and health and having an amazing body.
So this is a perfect example of the fruit you bear. When I see why this world and the people of it wants us to believe, and most of the time it is from men who are highly educated with doctorates to be a doctor or an engineer or lawyer or whatever. And their knowledge goes against everything Yashua shows me. Getting them to dismiss their knowledge for truth is impossible. I can tell them over and over the fruit or results we have and it is just luck or something in their mind, and then tell you show me proof from manmade proof (show me the science). That supports your results. The results or fruit is the proof, but to them it is no proof at all, its nonsense. The people in charge never do studies where they look at healthy people and compare them to those who are sick and then see why, never. And never will because then these drug companies would be out of business as no one would take their drugs and for good reason.
The second part of this as written in more detail before is the economy. The men of this world have set up a banking system, taxing system and other things we really do not need and convinced us all we do. It blows my mind how people are complaining because with the recession we are in, or any down turns. The people expect the government to do something so they can maintain a lifestyle of the rich and famous on a beer budget. They cannot make all these payments they have to maintain it so they lose their car or home to foreclosure. I played that game in the past and lost. Now I play the game of living a simple life, never payments. So if things get bad no one will come to take my car or home, they are paid for. My only real ongoing cost are food and water which we can easily afford.
But the main point is when you live according to their system you die in their system. This is how they take all your money and make you a slave to them. Do not play their game, my family is financially successful because we did not play that game, we live frugally.
The other night a guy I know who is seeking and kind of knows the things of God, but has a ways to go yet was over and we talked. He is going through a tough time, some big test. He wanted me to help him financially, although he did not come out and say it like that. But I made it clear to him without directly saying it I wouldn’t. It is not my place to get in the middle of what God is doing with him, because “we are made perfect by the things we suffer.” Who am I to get in the way of the suffering which is to perfect him? Now most religious people would argue and quote this or that verse to the opposite or bring up the story of the early followers who sold everything and put it into a big slush fund and gave to those as they needed. And this guy was trying to make this point.
But I also made the point there are people I have helped because the Lord told me to and I did. But I only do it according to who the Lord instructs and how. I want to help when it is time to help and allow God to do his thing when it is time for someone to suffer. In watching this guy he keeps living like I did before, spending money foolishly to have a good life now instead of an better life now without stress because you are not in debt now, to have in abundance later. He does not want to give up the fancy cars and really nice rental homes to be able to save for owing a modest home. You can never get ahead by paying a lot of interest and rent to other people to have something you should not have and really do not need. Because again in the end what do we need? 3 things, air, water and food. And the good Father will provide these so do not worry. The reason we worry and suffer in many cases is self-inflicted because we want a lot more than air, water and food and expect it. You have to choose which one you want and do not expect those of us who did it right and took the 4 talents and made 8 to give some of them to the one who had one talent and hid it. Because this is not the way of God, it is of satan, although satan and his men teachers twist this and make it where as a “good chrishtian” will do this.
I also do not see this guy changing, he told me of a ranch he wanted to buy for $3,000,000 dollars which had a dog kennel and 5 homes on it. A drug guy owned it. The question is how is this guy going to buy it, unless someone like me helps him? I quickly pointed out what Yashua keeps teaching me about a simple life and only needing air, water and food. That he should do as Yashua instructed me and what we have done, and are currently doing in building a modest home with land for a garden and some chickens and all in being in under $100,000 dollars without debt. Because on this 3 million property what happens when no one is buying the dogs they raise and train and no one can pay the rent on the homes? We have a few rentals and it is the extra for us, but if no one could pay the rent and squatted on us, we would be OK, we have air, water and food in our place in Guerro to live and no one can take it from us as it is paid for.
Don’t enable the men of the world, the more they get the more they expect and it keeps them from coming to know the true God. It makes you a robber or thief who comes in a side window, but those of us who are right in the true shepherd know his voice and follow him only, he leads us out into green pastures, his rod and staff comfort us. Live within your means and do not chase after worldly riches. If the Lord gives you 4 talents and you make 8, great as that is what we are to do. But then do not blow those 8 talents foolishly.
