New day similar or same message. I find myself trying to figure out this world, and what is going on and how to defeat it. Same with age, as I get older and the body is not the same as before. I watch and do what is possible to defeat old age. And have had much success as compared to most people my age.
The other day I saw a video that said “if you can do these things, you are way ahead of most people over 60.” So I watched it, and it was a joke in my mind. It was simple things like walking up stairs, balancing on one foot… Considering most people my age cannot do these things, and they are nothing to me, it made me know I am doing things right. I would compare myself with 30 year olds instead of 60. Physically I am stronger than 90% of men at any age, and my body looks better than most. Same with my wife, at 50 she looks incredible and I would match her up with any woman of any age for having a nice body and looking good.
The point is these things are decisions to age or not age. Yes we all will get old and die eventually. But there are all kinds of things you can do to slow the process and enjoy life better. And all these things come down to two main ones. What you eat, and getting good exercise. Also stress is a big factor which is caused by not knowing the Lord and focusing on the world instead.
And so here I am again at a juncture in my life. With real estate sales being zero, and having to now rely on what we built up in the good times. Which when we were accumulating the assets and times were amazingly good. I was always asking the Lord what is it all for? Now I know, it is a test similar to Egypt and Joseph and how the 7 bad years ate up the 7 good years. In our case it will not eat up the assets as we live off the earnings easily. At least for now.
Which is my concern, what happens “IF.” The IF can be a lot of things like no one renting our homes, or they cannot afford to pay rent. The banks going broke, which we had money in one that did recently, however we got our money back as it was guaranteed.
The point is there are a lot of things that can happen that would destroy everything we worked hard to accumulate and leave you where you started, which was broken. And now with no way to regenerate it or even make a living to speak of with AI taking over. It is a scary time “IF” you focus on it and what is happening. And it is not only guys like me who watch these things and how the world works and try to do what we need to in order to defeat it and prosper, which we have. But because the normal people who work 9 to 5 and get a paycheck are struggling to make ends meet, they even notice there is something very wrong and it needs to change. And the problem for guys like me is the change they want and need will destroy the guys like me. They need rent controls, and eventually will have to choose between paying rent and buying food and water. When they choose food and water, we do not get paid.
So this morning, after looking at all this stuff and thinking what else can I do. The Lord made it clear, again! He is our providor, he is the one who told me what to do with real estate, and gave me many opportunities to do well. But then I was also prepared to do well with them. There is an old saying in sales, “success is opportunity meeting preparedness.” Are you prepared for when the opportunity comes.
As a side note, I also see it in investments, as our silver is doing extremely well this past year, up more than 100%, and my small roughly $15,000 investment 5 years ago is making us around $3,000 every week, which is a 20% ROI based on what we invested. And the point is not how well it is doing, it is the preparedness meeting opportunity. Because I researched this, I saw there was a serious problem with silver supplies versus demand for it. I also knew the banks were the market makers and manipulating it to keep the price down. It was obvious this day was coming even though it took about 5 years of normal increases to get to this point. But now it is paying off. I was prepared for the opportunity.
Same with Real Estate, we bought and sold many properties when the market was good and growing. Now it is not so good and we stopped, which is a part of my concern.
But the real point, it is the Lord who shows me these things, I do my part and he does his. His wisdom of giving light and understanding on how things work so I can take advantage of it. That is the key. A man can do it without the Lord, under man’s understanding. But it is so much better when he is in your corner. But we also must stop the madness in our mind and focus on him. Knowing he is the provider not me. As I seeked his wisdom and grew assets under his direction, and also know he can take it away in a heart beat. But either way, “Blessed be the Lord.”
I also know how the Lord fed the Hebrews in the desert, he fed the prophet Elijah and the widow and her son when the fathom came. He kept Israel and his sons fed using Joseph when the fathom came. Story after story shows us how the Lord takes care of his own.
Which brings up another point he made to me this morning. Who is his own? What does it take to be his?
This sums up the verses above about obeying. You are his “IF” you obey him. Not a religion or man teacher, but him. The Lord pointed out a few things, first his truth on making and accumulating money to prosper and or survive in this world based on our own efforts. We really cannot do it. The men in charge of this world can make a few laws and run a few banks into bankruptcy, they can take your gold and silver like they did in the 1930’s. They have the power to come and take it all when they decide to, which is spelled out in the end of times prophecy. Which seems just around the corner.
But the Lord showed me that making more money is not going to stop that, it just gives more for them to take from us. The Lord’s truth he showed me is what gives the peace. The first truth is how he took care of all these people in days past. But the second truth is even more assuring and needs to be the focus. Which is not how we eat today. But that we are eating the bread of life, the words of Yeshua. Our focus needs to be on the next life, not this one. Especially at 60 years old, how many more years do I have to deal with this crazy world? On average another 15 or so. But then my health is well above average as discussed before. But let’s say I live to 100, another 40 years. The last 60 went sooooo fast and it seems faster day by day. So the next 15 to 40 will go fast.
But the point the Lord made was what if you starve to death even this year? Does it matter if you die today or in 40 years or even longer? What matters is not when you die but will you die in him or still in the world?
So no matter how you look at it all, why worry about the money and food? If it is the will of God to provide he will provide in any and all ways, maybe even sending the ravens to bring you bread. But if it is the Lord’s will to take it all away, because as it is written, “the Lord gives and takes away, blessed be the Lord.” My focus is not on money or good health. It is on him. Doing his will. But then by doing this I am working out what he is working in me. Or as the old saying goes once again. Success is a preparedness meeting opportunity.
Now apply that to your salvation, are you prepared to meet the Lord as your judge? Many people believe they are because of a religious experience, and the men teachers lie to them to make them feel comfortable in their sin. But they are not prepared. And most argue and call me judgmental for saying the truth which is not mine but God’s warning for us all. We cannot understand what it really means to be in the Spirit and die unto ourselves, until it happens to you, where you go through it. Then you will understand what it means to die unto yourself and be born again, and why it must happen. Because Yeshua has shown me many times over why no one who is still living a selfish sinful life, no matter how clean they made themselves under their own power and works. It tarnishes the Kingdom if God let it in his Kingdom.
Last point, the Lord showed me how he has his people and the laws amongst his people are different than the laws of other people not his. For example the law to not kill is amongst his people. But he destroyed anyone or any nation which came up against his people and had his people do it sometimes. Like David killing goliath. The religious world puts us all in the same place, equal in the eyes of God, but it is not like that. If we do not stand up against men like the Islamic extremist because we should not kill. They will destroy you. And in the end of times, it will happen (which is happening in the world today in many places).
The problem started and has deteriorated significantly to what it is today because the Hebrews did not want God as their King and wanted a man king, so the Prophet Samuel gave them men kings. The whole thing of being born again moves you back from men kings or leaders back to the Lord being your leader. Keeping in mind he is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
One other old saying. The more things change the more they stay the same! It really applies here. The Lord is the same yesterday as he is today and will be tomorrow. We are the ones who change things with our religious views to make it easier in our minds to have a good life and salvation. But the Lord does not accept our ideology.
