“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:1-3
This morning the Lord has been showing me real faith. Not as it is taught by the church system, but as God sees it or defines it. Yashua summed it up the best when he told Thomas, “blessed are those who do not see but still believe.” Most of us just take this saying as something random or simple. But it is very profound because faith has nothing to do with sight. And Yashua was speaking to those of us in the future who believe in him without seeing him. But then the watered down version of believing by the church system also leaves men without real faith. To believe in the eyes of Yashua is to hear him and obey him. You cannot say you believe in him if you do the opposite of what he wants. And we all do the opposite and live in sin and dysfunction which we all do from the first birth.
The truth about being born again is we start to hear and then obey the voice of Yashua and his Spirit. This is exactly what Yashua was saying, blessed are those who believe yet do not see. I have never seen the Lord physically, yet I do see evidence of his being everywhere as Paul wrote. Yet I hear his voice and obey him, therefor as Yashua said, I am blessed. Many see blessings as financial or some sort of physical blessing with the natural life. But the true blessings are in the wisdom and best way to live life that comes from knowing Yashua. The worldly blessings of a success and financially are simply a side benefit of obedience to him, not the goal itself.
The church system teaches it in a way that you ask for whatever you want in the name of Jesus and you will get it if you have real faith. The son never promised this and it leads to men abandoning any real faith in Yashua. Because most of the time the thing they ask for never happens, and when it does not many abandoned any chance they have to know Yashua because of it. Keep in mind it is written “Now we know God does NOT hear sinners.” And we also know the “prayer of a righteous man prevails much.”
So let’s put this in motion with a simple example of the two. If a person is sick, like my mom was with cancer. Her prayer to God as a woman in the flesh was “God take this chemo directly to the cancer to kill it.” It did not happen. My prayer was “OK Lord this is a tough one, what are you going to do? Can you please heal my mom?” His response to me was, OK I will heal her, but if she lets it come back, there is no more hope.”
So what happened is my parents went to Hawaii on vacation for 6 weeks. When they got back my mom’s cancer was all but gone. The doctor was amazed. The Lord made it clear to me it was the clean air, cleaner food and other non toxic things she experienced in Hawaii that healed her body. A while latter after going back to treatment for the cancer and living in the same toxic environment, the cancer returned. I told her to move with us in Mexico to get away from the toxins or at least move from the gold course they lived on, but they did not.
This makes the point. One person in the flesh has faith in a god who will let them boss him around telling him how to fix their life while remaining in the same sinful toxic environment and way of living they always lived. The other, the one who has real Faith, goes to God asking for what to do so we do things according to his perfect will and be healed. Remember Yashua said “in seeing they do not see, and in hearing they do not hear, least they turn from their ways and be healed.
How is this so difficult to understand? I cannot answer that question but can tell you that I was the same for 40 plus years until I started to understand this truth because I started to hear the voice of Yashua. I prayed the same way my mom did, and my idea of faith was the same as everyone else. And I look back and thin to myself, how could I have read the bible for all those years, since the age of 19 and not have understood this thing of faith?
And the answer is it goes back to doctrine. Because our minds are like a computer, what we put into it is what it believes and how to acts. So if you are born into the catholic “faith” as they call it. That is what you will be trained to believe and have faith in. Somehow when you read something that is screaming a different story, in your mind it justifies it, you are blind to the truth.
When I started to know Yashua and listen to him, and let him teach me, which goes back to the verse from Ephesians 4:21 “that is if you hear Yashua and are taught by him as the truth is in him.” And many other verses speaking of hearing and obeying and letting the Lord teach us. Because we have one teacher or rabbi, the Messiah, Yashua.
So then I started to understand, it was not a bam and done thing, it was the beginning of understanding as written in Proverbs and Psalms “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” How quickly you come to understand the ways of God and how they differ from the ways the world teaches including the religions, depends on you and how well you simply obey and let the Lord teach you, verses how much you complain and cry about the suffering you go through to come to this understanding.
So a part of this understanding happened because I stopped going to the catholic church and started with a “Christian” church, not really sure which denomination but sort of Lutheran. And at first it made sense, most so than the catholic version anyways. But as time went on there were things being taught that were not the same as what Yashua was showing me. Which then you have to ask is it me and what I see this spirit showing me that is the problem or difference? After all this guy studied to be a preacher? Or is it the doctrine?
I stuck with the voice of God which I could not see him but when I obeyed in faith, nothing but good happened. Many times it was not good to begin with but the end fruit was good. And I went to the next version of who God is, then the next and next sand next… all teaching from the same book called a bible yet all with a slightly different view point.
So then it becomae which is correct, because there is only one truth? And God just left me seeking a man made doctrine that could work so I did not forsake the gathering of the church. But I quickly came to understand these people getting together in the name of Jesus Christ were not the true gathering of the true church of Yashua. They were gahtering to hear a false doctrine which then keeps you from knowing the true doctrine the Lord would or will teach you.
satan keeps us in these doctrines which then little by little draws us deeper into the sin and dysfunction. It makes us sicker both physically and mentally which then keeps us Spiritually sick, pulling us further and futher away from Yashau. Maybe this death is quick like my mom and cancer, or maybe a slow thing like the stroke my dad had. The same thing happens with our mental health where we get more and more sick as a person and country. The things we phsyically put into our body can and do alter our mental also. I hear many people talking about how crazy the people of this world are getting, especially since the vaccine and lock downs from covid. Sometimes we get so bad there is no reovery. like my mom with cancer, my dad and his stroke as he will never be the same, or my aunt who just died who had dementia. If you get this bad you will never come to know the Lord because your mind cannot function correctly, and you followed the slipper slope down that the god of this world satan had for you instead of coming to follow the path the Lord wants you to follow if you knew him. Drugs do this to you, both legal and illegal, and Yashua has nade it clear to me to NEVER do either drugs. Where the church system mostly will go along with the worldly health care system of medications and men counseling instead of telling you to make your counselor and teacher the Lord God.
The really interesting thing to me is how we believe that salvation and truth is found in a church system, which is the thing which is keeping us from the truth and salvation. This is just how good satan is with his lies and how he is our father if we believe the thngs men teachers tell us about God and salvation instead of what Yashua and his Spirit will teach us, leading us into all truth and all righteousness, if you let him.
