Same Mind!

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.  1 Corinthian 1:10

The Lord has been working on this message for a few days now, summed up by the verse he showed me this morning as shown above, and many other verses.  We must be of the same mind, there is no division or differences of doctrine that is acceptable to God, yet we have 1,000’s of different doctrines all claiming to be good with God.  So the question becomes how can this be true?  Is it even about a doctrine, or is it about being a good person?

The majority of the people have this belief that as long as they are “good people” then they will be OK with God and saved.  But what is “good people?”  Because in observing all these different people serving all these different doctrines.  And different life styles, allowing different sins into their lives.  Which is good and which is bad?

Also how do you define what is good?  Take for example being gay, some religions push the idea if you do not accept them as OK, then you are not right with God because you are judging.  Where other religious people do judge them looking down on them.  Which is correct, because obviously this is a big division, they are nowhere near being of the same mind yet both call themselves Christians?

There are many mafia men over the years who are catholic and believe they are good with God, same with drug dealers, many do their religious things and believe they are good.  Where most of us would agree it is not and want nothing to do with cartel or mafia.

In the past week a aunt of mine died, she was very religious in the catholic church system.  Her last few years of life were of her not even knowing who or where she was, her mind completely gone.  The immediate thought the Lord put in my mind when I found out she died, was she went immediately from not knowing a thing to knowing it all.  And what she found out about the truth and the doctrine she should have followed was very different than what she did follow.  There is also this part of how we live our life in this world and being of the world which brings a judgment to us based on our emotional and physical health and its outcome.  I invite you to read the bible and show me even one example of anyone in the bible who had dementia?  Who had a stroke and was in a wheel chair?  Who had cancer and died from it?  Name one who was fat and obese and with major health issues?

There are examples of men who disobeyed God and had mental issues, like King Saul.  Or died or were killed because of disobedience.  But those who obeyed always died at a ripe old age of normal issues.  So how do we these days just accept these health issues as normal and a part of being a follower of the Lord?

Because I know the Lord personally, and obey the things he shows me.  I also know the reason why these men never had problems, and the reason is because the Lord shows you truth.  Truth in how you are to think, what you are to eat.  He will give you instruction in how to live every aspect of your life, much of it does not seem important and is not even in the bible.  Like for me he makes it evident how important it is to go to bed early and get up early and not be in the streets at night.  In my old days I used to be out at night fairly often doing things I should not have done most of which seemed harmless at the time and affecting no one but me.  It was easy for me to do exactly what I am telling, which is to justify my life as being a “good person” and OK with God because I read my bible and went to my catholic church and did confession and communion…  And watching all these other catholics with their sins so we all accept the sin as OK, yours are Ok and mine are OK.  Unless you are a hypocrite and think mine are fine but yours are not.

Here is the main thing which many will not understand.  Which is in order to enter into the Kingdom of God, we must first get rid of our own kingdom.  All of us are a lord of our own kingdom.  We just do not understand this concept.  But take what is said above, maybe even focusing in on my past.  I thought my ways were good enough, and did things according to my way of thinking, based on everything that was taught to me, using something’s from everyone, and discarding many things from other people.  We come to an understanding which is good with us, but is it good with God?

The short is no, in order to be in good standing with God we must get rid of all our own ideas of truth and the best way to live our life.  This is the whole thing about denying yourself or dying onto yourself.  If we do not stop thinking the same old way, the Lord cannot teach us his “WAY” to live.  If we do not let go of our idea of what is truth, we cannot hear the real truth of God.

The truth is one of the biggest issues, many read what I write which is only based on what God shows me, and because it goes against their religious and political beliefs.  Goes against what they have been taught over the years.  It is easy for them to say things like “well that is your truth, but not mine.”

So go back to the verse above by Paul, where we are called to be of the same mind and same judgment.  Because the truth is the truth in Yashua.  And there is no difference in judgment, there is no acceptance of one sin and not the other in the Kingdom.  What the church system and its leader satan have us believing is that our kingdom is a part of Gods Kingdom and he accepts whatever we say and believe as OK.  We do not get that what John 3:16 says about believing is this.  That unless you believe in what the son shows you, you do not believe in him and are not fulfilling the command to believe in him.  Believing in what your church system tells you about the son and listening and obeying what he tells you so you truly believe in him are two different things.  Yet we cannot see this and do not want to believe it so we come up with our own doctrine which allows us to remain in our own kingdom, our own ways, our own truth and somehow magically or spiritually it is the sons “way, truth and light, and we are on our way to the Father through the son.”  But again, there is no “same mind and judgment” in this.

The difference between me and most of you, and me now verses who I was in the flesh.  Is simply I have given up my kingdom to live in the Lords Kingdom.  I stopped believing in my religion, in my own truth, my own ways of doing things, and let the Lord show me who I was in his sight and how wrong I was in my way of living life.  This is being born again, getting rid of your olds life, your old way of thinking.  |it is difficult because all these beliefs are ingrained in us, and the fight against the flesh is not an easy fight.  And then on top of it the people who you always did things with, they are not on the same narrow path as you and see nothing wrong with the way they live, thinking they are “good people” and because you also thought the same way they still do, otherwise you would not have been friends.  It brings friction and problems between you.  You lose family and friends and business associates…Not because they hate you, although in some cases they do.  But because you no longer are of the same mind and judgment.  The true judgment came upon you from the Lord and his Spirit showing you how wrong you are in your “way” to live and what you believe.  And he shows you the correct way to live, so how are you going to keep following the same old sinful way of living?  Your friends and family and business associates have not had the same conviction, nor do they want to experience it.  So what do you have in common going forward?  Nothing!

Men ignore the light which comes to show you your darkness, they hate the light, they prefer to hang with people who think like them or give a judgment which accepts their sinful kingdom as being Ok and substitute it for a righteous relationship with God.  We must let the light shine into us, and then lead us into all righteousness.  In this righteousness is no sin, no acceptance of it.

Now keep in mind there is a big difference between a man really seeking truth and trying to defeat sin in their life and asking for help from a true believer.  And accepting a sinful man into your life who is justifying his sinful life and “way” to live.  As Yashua said “even the sinners are loved by each other.”
