The heart is deceitful!

“The heart is more deceitful than anything else and mortally sick. Who can fathom it? I, Adonai, search the heart; I test inner motivations; in order to give to everyone what his actions and conduct deserve.”  Jeremiah 17:9-10

Over and over lately the Lord keeps showing me how deceitful our hearts are, all of us, everyone.  Not just a few, all of us.  However so many people want to believe they are good people and God is accepting of them just the way they are.  The reason is, they cannot fathom it.

Until you let the Lord God search your heart and show you what is wrong with your motives and or doctrine which shapes your motives.  People believe their motives are good, that they are not selfish and greedy and giving people.  But when the Lord gets ahold of you (if you let him).  Then you find out who you truly are, he shows you and then he also shows you the way out.

So if this message convicts you and you do not like it, you have two choices.  Either ignore it and chalk it up to a man who is claiming his own doctrine and way and who is he to tell me???

Or better yet, seek the truth from God to see if what is being said is truth, and let the Lord search your heart and show you what is wrong inside you.  The first option ends in destruction according to the Lord.  However if I am wrong, and you still get to heaven, then so be it, but I am not, not because of my doctrine but because of the things the Lord has shown me, including the entirety of this verse.

However, if you do as I say and seek the Lord and let him convict you of your evil heart and give you the way to change that so your works are good works.  And then do those good works.  As it is written, you will get what you deserve because of your actions (works).  Good works bear good fruit.  Bad works bear bad fruit.  And you will be known by your fruit.  And it also works itself out in this lifetime.  If you live according to the ways of the Lord, and obey his voice.  He gives you the gifts of the Holy Spirit, peace, joy, love, patients, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faith.  To which there is no law.

It is not that we are no longer under the law, we all are judged by our works according to the law.  But living in the Spirit and receiving the gifts of the Spirit, which requires you to hear and obey the Lord.  Then you will uphold the law, the Lord does not lead us to break the law, he leads us into all righteousness.

This is the problem with religion (the whore church system).  In most churches it makes the condition of the human heart OK with God when it is not.  And that God simply wants you to go to church on sundays and give some money and sing a little, pray some sinners selfish prayers asking for things from God.  Listen to a man get up and lie about who God is and what he expects.  And then go out and keep sinning because your heart is evil and will always keep you in sin.  Unless you die unto yourself (your heart) and let God cleanse your heart, give you a new one that is in love with a Holy God.  Obedient and grateful.

When I look at my life, where I came from before the Lord spoke to me and I lived according to my own ways.  And how evil they were, even the things I thought were good, but the Lord showed me were not and why. And then I look at it now after surrendering completely to the Lord, hearing him and obeying everything he shows me.  The second part of my life is MUCH better than the first when I lived without him.  I am extremely grateful for him, even in being able to proclaim like the disciples (because I am a disciple like Peter, John, Paul and the others).  That I am grateful for the things I suffer, I see how they grow me.  I never grow when things are good, I just go along in a state of peace.  But when things go bad, I immediately go into a mode of seeking the Lord and his truth of what to do, then wait in patients until he shows me what to do.

Last night the evil one was attacking me in the middle of the night.  It is normally when he comes, when your defenses are down and you are groggy and not sure what is going on.  He had me planning my future, moving in a certain way that maybe God sends me someday.  But I knew it was satan and or his demons trying to get me to make my own decisions and move on without God.  It is easy to fall for this if you do not know the voice of God and how Yeshua works.  Over many years I have come to know to never act on anything I get in my thoughts in the night when I have been sleeping.  But to wait for confirmation before moving on it.  The Lord always confirms over and over with different things and in different ways.  If it is of evil spirits, they lie so it always changes.

Most of the time, like this decision or issue that confronts me, I am simply sitting back and waiting.  These things work themselves out most of the time, without me doing anything other than hearing and obeying the Lord.  Many times it is not my decision, it is someone else’s decision.

For example there are things with raising our kids and where to live that I would do differently and move on it now.  But I have a wife who opposes much of it.  And I know I cannot make her do certain things, like I really want to continue homeschooling but she is the teacher and does not want to, nor do the kids at this point.  So it is not in my hands even though I know it is a better option.  So I pray about it and ask God his will be done, and it is up to him to convince my wife and kids to make the change.

I can give a lot of examples like this where my wife and or kids have their ideas of how to live life, which is different than what God shows me.  They have free will and exercise it.  I have to be patient and let them be, giving them advice according to the truth the Holy Spirit shows me.  But they have to work out what God is working on directly with God and not through me.  I am not their savior, their healer, their truth light and way.  So I do not play that role in their life.  I live my life by example of how God expects us to live and pray for them to receive the Lord.  And let the Lord work in their life accordingly.
