For evildoers will be cut off, but those hoping in Adonai will inherit the land. Soon the wicked will be no more; you will look for his place, and he won’t be there. But the meek will inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace. Psalms 37:9-11
All of chapter 37 of Psalms is good, and keeps with the same theme, which is if you are acting evil, you will pay the price and if you are doing your works in the Lord, it will turn out good. I have seen this play out in my life over and over, on both sides. We have accumulated some wealth, but as much so or more so, I have peace in all I do. Even when things come upon me of evil intent, I simply fall back on God, pray to him, give it to him and let him work it out, or tell me what I need to do to work it out. My first reaction may be of personal vengeance, but that lasted a few seconds. Keep in mind the adversary is always rooming looking for the opportunity to pounce on you, and he will. But the better you get at recognizing this, and recognizing how God works and what God expects. The quicker you stop the tyranny in your mind and turn to God and his wisdom.
It is so much easier to do this these days, because over and over I have seen God work things in my favor in ways I would have never dreamed of, much better than how I would have handled it and what I would have expected to gain out of it. Even when I lose according to the world’s viewpoint, I still win. The Lord giveth and taketh away, blessed be the Lord. It is easier to live by this truth when you see what he replenishes things with after taking something away. And many times the world cannot see it as a win.
For example my older daughters still do not talk with me after 20 years. I wish they would, but, and a strong but. If they were still in my life, I would have never moved here to Baja. If I never moved here to Baja, I would still be in my sin and not have received the Holy Spirit. I also would have never met my wife and had the 3 children we have. It is also probable I would have never gained the wealth we have. And for sure I would not have the peace I have, as my ex wife would make sure of that.
All of these things are gained because of my relationship to the Lord in hearing him and obeying him. He parted me with his wisdom and understanding and truth. These things are what have made me into the man I became with the wisdom, and peace. These two things more than anything else have created my health and wealth. It is a big circle where you do not know where one begins and the other ends, or which comes first? Like a chicken and the egg, did God create a chicken first and it laid eggs to create more chickens? Or the egg which hatched into the first chicken?
This is one of the many marvelous mysteries of the Lord, and one you will never come to comprehend. Nor can you explain it, but you can only live in it. Or choose not to live in it, which most people choose. But once you choose to live in it and see the goodness of the Lord, you will never want to go back to the old man’s life apart from God.
I watch this with my enemies as well as David did. ANd how the Lord allows them to come after me, but then he has me in such a place where they cannot do any harm to me and contrary, it comes back to haunt them. I have a few examples in my mind of this including my ex wife. But also a few business associates here in Baja.
One who sued my partner (which affects me) regarding our condo development. And although it is not over yet, it is pretty obvious this guy with his greed and stupidity is going to lose out big time. But then he deserves it for the lawsuit but also because he screwed over the IRS with owing something like $400,000 in taxes he never claimed and settled for pennies paid through his social security, when he hid around the same money down here.
When I read this verse, and it says “those hoping in Adonai will inherit the land.” It made me think exactly of this guy. It also made me think of another two business partners in some land which is a stone’s throw away from where I live. Because things were not working out as planned which happens a lot all over the world but especially in Mexico. He started to call me a scam artist and posted on facebook. The group took down his post and everything he tried to do did nothing. He then gave me an ultimatum to either buy him out or sell out my position or else. I prayed about it and God made it clear to have nothing to do with this man, so we sold out for what we paid for it, lost a little money. Since this I got involved with the condo project in the same way I planned to do the other one which he did not like. And now increased our net worth and income significantly. It did not come out as well as I hoped or thought, but we still came out in really good shape. Not without serious headaches along the way, and still some minor problems. But if you could see how we live, and the peace I sleep in with only hearing the ocean in our bedroom. And the views we have, and increasing our income by around $3,500 dollars a month over what it was. And then watching these two still sitting on the land looking for a buyer some 5 years later. Tell me how I came out of it in a bad way?
The short is when someone tries to screw you, do not seek vengeance, but instead seek the truth of God and let him bring you vengeance. Everytime I let him bring his truth and vengeance to my life, it is always good like this. And it brings peace because I am not fighting in my mind and mentally with these sick people. My mind is clean and in Yeshua, only seeking to do his will, and he takes care of the rest and always blesses me, just like he did King David.
Most of us do not like the growing pains part of it, and see it as injustice when we get sued, or have a guy demand we sell out to him with threats. And we complain about it to God instead of seeking his perfect will and letting him deal with our adversaries. And because we complain and do not seek God in it, we pay a heavy price. We must realize God allowed these troubles to come upon us and they are for a reason. He has NEVER protected anyone he uses and are his, from these problems, since the beginning of history. And he will NOT protect you from them either. Instead he protects you in them, and then blesses you when you show real genuine faith in him, seeking his voice and doing what he says.
Most people have this idea that they should be protected from any difficult situations,and if you get into one you are doing something wrong. Or poor little old you for your problems. This is because of the corrupt whore church system and what they teach, which is the opposite of how it world out in life. I stopped listening to these teachers of lawlessness and started listening to the Lord of truth.
Another point the Lord is making to me about all this, is some people would make an argument, actually many people would because they do not know the Lord and his ways. And point to Jesus as they would call the Lord, and his disciples. And point out how they suffered and had no money and were put to death for their faith in Adonais ways. BUT this is the point back. Your focus or mindset is too narrow. You focus on this world and being wealthy and successful as the blessing. The real blessing is not this but the fruits of the Spirit and how you live in them. Which peace and joy and love are part of them. When you come to understand these and live in these, then you will know what the true blessings are.
Paul was found singing praises to God even when he was hanging in shackles in jail, he had joy in spite of his circumstances. And keep in mind these short term suffering produced something for all of them that by far outweighs it all. Keep in mind Yeshua is crowned King of Kings and Lord of Lords and is the only one worthy to open the seals. He was given all power and authority because he died and opened the door for the Holy Spirit. That was his mission, to come and tell the true doctrine, and then die as the sacrificial lamb for the sins of the world. And then send the Spirit. No name is more important than Yeshua because of what he did and went through.
The apostles all sit as the head of the twelve tribes of Israel because of what they suffered. Do you really believe what they dealt with for the really short time on earth bothers them as they sit in the Holiest of Holy places right there with the Lord? With special recognition for what they did and suffered?
I do not do things in the Lord for the worldly blessings he brings after them, although I do not decline them either. My focus is not on this world and its dysfunction because it is not getting better, nor will it because satan is in full control of the minds of most people who only want free stuff and to make their sin OK with everyone. They do not want to repent nor think they need to, they just live in this state of mind which keeps them in bondage. The example above is a perfect example of the bondage. When the problems come they cry out to God with the poor little old me attitude, because that is what is taught in the church system controlled by satan. Then the PLOM attitude brings them deeper into depression and other mental disorders. This takes them even deeper into dysfunction and it is the opposite of the circle I live in which takes me higher and higher, theirs takes them deeper and deeper into sin and dysfunction. And all the while they think they are good with God.
I suggest you read all of Psalms 37 because it is very good making these points. But I also read more from Acts 26 and verse 20 says clearly “on the contrary…that they should turn from their sins to God and then do deeds consistent with that repentance.” This is Paul speaking, not the other disciples talking to the Jews. HIs words are to the Roman leaders not to Jews. How can people read this and then continue to support the whore church system with their made up doctrine from the late 1,800’s as discussed yesterday. When many verses like this one make it clear that really nothing has changed and we are to obey God and his law. The only part which changed is the giving of the Holy Spirit, which if you truly received him he will put into you those things of God and then you are to live in them. David did not have the helper like we do, we have no excuses to be in sin, David did and why the sacrifices they made. David and Abraham and the others all did have a similar trait as anyone who lives by the Spirit today in that they only wanted to do what is right and follow the law and did everything in their mind to remain in God. and the few times they fell short they repented and returned to the Lord. Most men in those days made it about the sacrifice and did not concentrate on God and try to be pleasing to him, they thought a sacrifice of a dove or lamb did the trick so why try to be righteous?
Are we not the same today? Preaching this grace doctrine as giving us the right to live the way we want to and the Lord’s sacrifice is all we need? The more things change the more they stay the same!
One last comment for today and this is not of God but from me. I have no reason to write these things and tell God’s truth, it does me nothing, and actually brings hatred from people for the same reason they hated Yeshua and the disciples and killed them with their message. It is extremely good news, but the people see it as bad news. People want change in their life for the better while still doing the same old things, no repentance and not change. And then make excuses or blame others for their problems and blame God. All this brings them deeper into the dysfunction of life and deeper into the kingdom of satan. And satan loves it and God hates it. And this is your judgment or condemnation. Did you stay in your sin and dysfunction or repent and turn to God and receive the Holy Spirit to live a righteous life?
Again, I do not need to do this, and most of the time I see nothing from it except people seeing me as crazy or hating me because of it. Most days I just want to go to a remote place, sit around and bask in the glory of the lOrd and let everyone perish because I see no difference in people. They hate the truth and hate me because I bring them truth they do not want to hear.
But on the other side, the Lord said to take what is shown to you in the dark and show it to the people. Plant the seeds and let them take root and someone else will harvest them. I look at one devotional I read from a guy named Oswald Chambers from the late 1,800’s who spoke truth, and there is no man who has helped me come to understand the things of the Spirit more than him except obviously the Spirit himself. But it was him pointing out the true doctrine which then made sense to me when the Holy Spirit was talking to me explaining truth, instead of the lies of the church system. Obviously we never met and obviously he had no idea how his writings would affect a man like me some 150 years later. And all the other people he affected over the years and will in the future. Even if I am the only one who ever comes to understand the things I understand because of him, I see it worth it. And this is why I press on. Both as a hope that some of you will turn from your ways and seek the truth in God, and come to understand my experiences because you also live them or similar in your life and turn to the Lord in them. But I also do it because the Lord commands us to disciple the nations. And I do not know of a better way to do what he wants than this way. Because this is his way, at least for now. Maybe he opens another door later, and I will walk through it. But for now, it is this.
One other reason for writing these things is it also helps me in my walk. It is one thing to have Yeshua show you things in your mind, but then when you write down what he shows you, then you start to come to understand better his ways. It is almost like looking at yourself from the outside looking in. Almost like you are preaching to yourself, so you earn it twice in two different ways and it drives the truth home deeper into your soul. I suggest all of you write down the things Yeshua teaches you, it is worth the time and what you will learn.
Sometimes I go back and read my old writings, especially when first in the Lord. and I see how much I knew and some of the things I still believed from the whore church system I now know to be a lie. I can see the growth in me both in rereading these things as well as how my life has revolved and how I live today so much different than back in those days. When reading the things Paul wrote about it is the same, you can see how he grew deeper into the Spirit with the things he suffered and experienced. However it is also this growth which makes people think he was not perfected in the Spirit and still sinned, twisting some of his writings so they can justify remaining in the flesh and sinning, pointing to Paul’s shortcomings and writings.
When I write or the writings of Paul, Peter, John or whoever writes about the things of God, they are not to twist and claim things. They are simply to help you understand how the Spirit of God works so you can also learn and know when the Lord and Spirit of truth come and put you through suffering and or your own situations. And you will see it working out in your life the same way when you hear and obey him.
These are the reasons to write what Yeshua shows me, and why I obey even though I prefer not to.
