Things go well with the person who is merciful and lends, who conducts his affairs with fairness. Psalms 112:5
The message this morning was interesting because of one main point the Lord made. It was stressed to me in a strong way that if you are not in the Spirit and walking according to his ways, then you are following the adversary, satan. This has been said many times over, but he really stressed it in a deeper way than ever, and a way I cannot describe nor tell you. You have to know him and learn from him if you are going to understand and be saved.
He also made the same point of doctrine that he has made many times before, this time using Paul as the example while reading from Acts 25, and how the Jews were causing him many problems, accusing Paul of breaking laws to which they had no proof of it, and in the end in front of the Romans judge Fetus the argument became about religious doctrinal beliefs.
The Jews argued that Paul was bringing in new doctrine, but he wasn’t, it was all in the scriptures about how the Lord would come and die and be raised up, so it was not new doctrine but a new era in the doctrine, and fulfilling prophecy. The Jews did not recognize it because they did not want to as they did not want change. The same reasons they killed Yeshua, so they kept the power and kept making money from the people.
The problem is many of these people thought they were doing God right by killing them, and thought they were on their way to heaven. But they were not, they actually were following their father satan, a liar and murderer from the beginning, as Yeshua said.
Then Yeshua went back to the thing of doctrine, because it is not about doctrine, yet it is. The doctrine should only point you to the Holy Spirit, he is the one who will do the work in you needed to become Holy and righteous. Then you need to work out what he works in.
Yeshua reminded me how the “christian” people think their doctrine is from Yeshua (Jesus Christ) himself, but it is not. It has been changed many times over, and the doctrine they currently follow is from one of three men from the late 1,800’s to early 1,900’s. Most I know follow Johny Sundays doctrine of grace and once saved always saved. For whatever reason they cannot seem to understand that this doctrine is a lie and is only 150 years old. It is NOT what Paul or Peter or even Yeshua taught. Yet to them it is.
Yeshua also made the point of receiving the Holy Spirit, according to their doctrine, the Holy Spirit is received in various ways. Maybe confirmation if you are catholic, or a sinners prayer or alter call if a christian. These liars teach it is that simple, yet the people still are in sin and do not see it or know the Holy Spirit and how he works. They just “believe or think” they have received him, but haven’t.
Then the point was made by Yeshua that the way you know if you have him or not is by the fruit you bear. Again nothing new with this point. If you are still in sin, justifying it, you do not have the Spirit. And when you do receive the Spirit you will know it, you will feel something seriously different about you and in you. And this is not a one time thing, it is a complete and ongoing change. It does not change back.
Oswald Chambers devotional utmost today said it well, “No man can make himself pure by obeying laws. Yeshua does not give us rules and regulations; His teachings are truths that can only be interpreted by the disposition He puts in. The great marvel of Yeshua’s salvation is that He alters heredity. He does not alter human nature; He alters its mainspring.”
The religious people seem to think the Lord will alter their human nature, their abilities. He does not, he expects you to let them sit and do it his way which is normally 100% the opposite of the world. He may leave you in the world a while and let you experience it, so that he can then show you the better way to live. This may happen by a combination of your own desires drawing out the voice of God and or him just letting you go on for a while. But eventually he narrows things down so you start to understand what is important and what is not.
Yeshua also reminded me of a church we used to go to here in Rosarito, and the main preacher had his own rules or commandments to follow, most church systems do and this is one of many reasons they are whores. But he used to teach that when you are dating you cannot hold hands or even kiss. More or less have sex. And you had to wait for one year before getting married. If a person follows those orders they would never get married, because what right minded spouse would go along with it without thinking the person is crazy?
There are commandments or rules about having sex outside marriage, but kissing and hugging and holding hands?
This is why Yeshua told the Jews how they buried widows with heavy burdens but did nothing for them or themselves. And it is also the reason why the same things keep happening year after year and people never come to know the truth in Yeshua, because they have men teachers telling them their doctrine instead of following Yeshua, that is hearing him and obeying his commands to you directly, not through a man.
One other thing the Lord pointed out, again nothing new. Is how David and Solomon had many wives and concubines. He reminded me how David took two wives on the spot who were widows when he was running from Saul and living in caves. There was no dating, no nothing, just that day they were his wives or concubines. The process was very different obviously back then, with few divorces.
Yeshua also reminded me of how could you have a relationship with 1,000 women like Solomon had? Even if you had sex and spent time with one woman every day, it is 3 years to go through them all. There obviously was not much of a relationship with the women, if they knew them at all. I can imagine seeing some in public and not even knowing they are your wife or concubine? I imagine they had their special wives they spent the most time with??? ‘
The point is this is a very different doctrine than what the preacher here in Rosarito is telling isn’t it?
To tie this up, the main point is it is not about doctrine, a man teacher or anything like this. It is about really receiving the Holy Spirit and living according to what he shows you. This is the only way to be “Holy as he is Holy.” And the reason the men teachers do not believe you can be Holy. Because they do not have the Spirit even though they would argue they do because of confirmation or a sinners prayer. But they do not and will not until they seriously seek for him. Knock and the door will be open…and my father and I will come in and sup with you!
The men teachers never knocked and do not teach you to knock, so do not follow them and their man made rules.
