Union with Him!

For in him, bodily, lives the fullness of all that God is. And it is in union with him that you have been made full — he is the head of every rule and authority.  Colossians 2:9-10

In union with him, the him being the Lord Yeshua, the one that is head of every rule and authority.  In other words everyone has to give in to him in the end.  God allows things in our lives, things which seem and are unrighteous, but there is always a reason or purpose behind it.

All this continues to tie into what I read in JOb and now in Psalms with David.  So many things in their lives seem unjust and were.  But in the end it made these men into who they became, men of God.

It is easy to follow the son when everything is going well, without problems or fears.  But when the real problems come, how do we react?  Or even future problems we see coming but are not here yet.  One of our presidents said “there is nothing to fear except fear itself.”  We spend so much time fearing the future which in most cases never happens.  Yeshua said it a little differently in “do not worry for tomorrow and what it might bring, for today has enough worries of itself.”

Even after almost 20 years knowing the Lord, I still find myself looking into the future trying to find ways or figure out ways to beat what I see coming.  And part of it is necessary “IF” I am going to protect the wealth God gave me.  There is this balance in things between understanding what is happening around you and doing things accordingly for your future,  and simply relying on only today.

For example on one hand God showed me clearly there would be a day when there would be no business.  Of course part of it is cyclical and always happens so it is not a big surprise like this is the very first time ever and caught us by surprise.  But he was making the point back in those days to as we say in Iowa, “make hay while the sun is shining.”  In other words, work hard now while you can, because later it won’t work.  And that is what I did, my wife did not like it much as I was gone a lot.  And now she does not like it much as I am always home.  And I feel the same, it would be much easier if you had more steady business.

But that is in the past, and he is showing me something similar today.  Because I am watching this world move quickly towards what appears to be the end of times, or if not, at minimum some serious growing pains to get through.  Many believed that the first two world wars was it, and it seemed like it for many, especially the Jews in what they suffered.  The disciples also thought the end would happen in their days some 2,000 years ago, and did not.

With that said there are some differences today then back then, namely technology and what they can do with AI surveillance and also digital money, and robots.  But the other piece of the puzzle is how they have changed the education system to dummy people down and push this socialist or communist government as the only option for equality.  When there is no equality, we reap what we sow, so if you do not sow because you are lazy, how can you reap like a man like me who sows hard?

But the socialist people have convinced enough lazy ones that we all should reap equally according to needs and not work ethic.  So they are voting for this, just look at New York and California.

The point is there is plenty to worry about for our tomorrows, more than ever.  The dominoes are lined up to fall correctly against us, and it is the will of the Lord who is in control to let it happen, and then come and make things right.  But why would he allow this?

That is the million dollar question with no single answer.  But I do know part of it is to separate the sheep from the goats.  Those of us who trust in the Lord, focus on today and let him take care of our tomorrows.  Only doing those things he shows us to do, but doing them and not ignoring it or putting it off.

But also not pushing things, there is this balance of staying in the same pace as the Lord, not getting behind him too far where we no longer see him, nor in front of him.

For example on this point, he showed me many years ago about having a small farm or here in Mexico a rachito.  IT was 20 years ago, imagine if I ran out and made it happen on the spot, the fruit trees would be HUGE by now.  But then it would have been in Iowa, and I moved to Mexico on his command that I obeyed.  Many things God puts on your mind happen in the future, and going back to King David we see it working out in the books of the bible written by him.  He was anointed to be King, but Saul was king first.  And Saul wanted to kill David, so David hid in caves and led a pretty miserable life for about 8 years. But this was the preparation for what he would be as King.

God put these things on my mind and heart, having a ranchito, living in Mexico, adopting, and having a son of my own.  All of which have materialized since, but not in the same timeline of the vision or message he gave me.

Many of these visions I did things to try to make happen only to cost me time and money.  I did things to make my son happen by doing in vitro, it did not work.  But then the Lord told me to adopt, get unfixed and then he would give me my son.  So I did it his way and he gave me my son and two daughters through adoption.  We spent well over $10,000 dollars foolishly trying to have Isaac, when in the end it yielded us nothing for it except some pain and money.

I find myself in a similar place today, needing a little money to finish off some of our ranchitos, and planning without God on how to finish them now thinking it needs to get done as the end could possibly start this afternoon.

I have acted on the visions he gave me, and he reminds me of when I want to get ahead of him.  Yeshua also reminds me of the consequences of when I move without him trying to make the vision happen on my own.  Yedshua also shows me how he fed the prophet Elijah using ravens to bring bread and the widow for over a year.  And how he protected David as he hid and ran from Saul.

What we do not get is the Lord knows everything and every authority has to bow down to him, or yield to him.  Even when they do not even believe in him, indirectly his will is done with or without their approval or acknowledgement.

No one can touch a hair on my head without his approval.  And maybe he approves it so it happens.  But if it does happen it will happen with or without your planning and doing things with or without him.  We cannot do anything to stop his will from happening.

Back to the example of my ranchitos, I was thinking of borrowing some money to finish them, and have about 3 ways to pay it back in a few short years, so it would not cost much to me in interest.  And logically it makes a lot of sense.  But instead of taking matters into my own hands I prayed to God about it.  Because sometimes those thoughts are from him, sometimes they are our own or from satan.  So it is important to seek his will in regards to them when listening to the thoughts in your mind.  As Paul wrote, take them captive and only do those of God.

The Lord put a few verses on my mind, but the short of it is “do not worry about tomorrow, for today has enough problems of its own.”  He also made the point about owing money and being a slave because of it.  And reminding me how to provide for David and Elijha without them doing anything on their own to prepare for what was coming.  At this point in life I have done what he expects of me, and waiting on him for the next step.  He knows what we need, he knows when he will take me and my family from this world.  He will protect me and feed me when I need it, as he gives me my daily bread.  Or take it all away as he did to me once and did to Job.

But the “Lord giveth and taketh away, either way blessed be the Lord!”  I do have to say however I like the times he giveth more than when he tests me.  But I also know I never learn anything worth really knowing when times are good.  I learn the real things of the Kingdom of God when times are extremely difficult.  I can honestly say I am happy to share in the sufferings of the Lord.  I am not saying I love it or like it, but I am willing to go through them because I love the end results of what it makes me into.

On the other hand when things are good and life is simple, like sitting and watching a sunset or the ocean and dolphins…  I find myself lazy and not achieving anything (although that is when the Lord teaches me, so I do get something from it.  He has even shown me the story of Martha and Mary and that Mary chose the better part).  The point is sometimes we choose the business of life over the silent calm times with the Lord.

Each moment in life has its purpose in your process of being perfected.  Let the Lord teach you, let him make you wait when it is time to wait, and move forward when it is time to move forward.  Let him discipline you even when you did no wrong like Job went through, and definitely do not complain when you were NOT righteous in your ways and are suffering the consequences from it.  Too many people cry because of their own dysfunction, and blame God for the consequences they are paying because of it instead of seeking his truth as to why you are suffering.  It continues to blow my mind how people are, especially religious people when it comes to suffering because of their decisions and then blaming or crying to God as if it is his fault they are dealing with it.

Justice is mine, says the Lord, I will repay!
