For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
The last few days I decided to start trading again, the intention was swing trading, where you are in a position for a day or maybe a week, letting the price of the stock or index or commodity run its course and then get out. But I find myself day trading, which is getting in and out in minutes sometimes.
Either way it is the same, just different length of time. But in doing this, the Lord made a few points to me in teaching this morning as I watched my keys or trends as we call them, and got in and out of a few trades. Keep in mind we are not talking huge money here, my normal trade is about $300 dollars. But on that $300 dollars I made a little over $100 yesterday and was up over $100 today. So you are talking a 30% type return on investment per day. Most people would be happy with that annually more or less daily.
But more importantly here is what the Lord taught me.
Trading is like following a God you do not see physically. The charts are like the bible, they do you no good if you do not know what the message is or how to read them. The main thing of the bible is that it is a history book given to us from God to let us know how things work and where we as people go wrong or do righteous works. The bible is in no way the voice of God as many portray it to be, it is only a book and is not “Holy” in and of itself. The word became flesh and dwelt amongst us, the word was and is Yashua. Yashua is HOLY, nothing more is. The bible makes it clear we are to follow Yashua, to hear him and obey him or follow him. Many verses in the bible spell this out clearly, but John 10 says it specifically. “And the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.” John 10:3-4
To relate this to trading and to tie in the faith and not sight verse. In order to be successful in trading, and most are not. It is stated 82% of the people who trade lose money, but the question becomes why do the 18% make money and many of them make big money? Because they were trained by the best teachers and know how to read the charts, see trends developing and then have the confidence to initiate the trade and stick with it when the thing goes against you short term or the wisdom to get out with a small loss when it is not acting like it should have. Yesterday I did 5 trades, made money on 3 and lost on two. But made my $106 dollars. Today so far I traded 3 times made on 2 and lost on 1 and made $60 dollars so far, or about 20%. My last trade lost, and it was an iffy one. There was a gap to fill and still is, and sometime today I expect it to be filled. But there is also a moving average giving a lot of resistance. It traded above it a few ticks so I though this might be when it fills the gap and if it did I would of doubled my money easily. It went against me and got rejected so I lost about $20 dollars before getting out.
Here is the other thing, I was right as now it is trading above the moving average so if I would have stayed put I would be up about $200 dollars for the day, and now it filled the gap just like it should have. And would have been up doubling my money easily. In hind sight I should have left it alone, just like I knew it would work and stayed in in faith to the history. But I cut my losses short for the short term. Easing the short term pain like most of us do in ordinary life issues instead of suffering through to get the prize.
But I am rambling some, and here is the point Yashua is making to me. No man can see the future exactly but because we study history, and learn from (hopefully) and from our elders and history repeating. We learn something’s so we do not make a lot of mistakes and instead profit. And I am not talking about financially profiting, but in all ways. Because everything in life is inter related. We need to learn the history or way of doing things so we do it right with success. And no one has the “way” to do life correctly like Yashua can show you. His WAY is the truth. If you leave your learning up to a man teacher or a bible, You will not really learn anything worth knowing because none of these things are the truth and way. Most men of religion are not intentionally lying to you, they believe they are correct in their interpretation of the “word” as they call it, the bible. But that is where they are wrong, no man can interpret the bible, they must rely on the great I am, the great teacher Yashua to teach them.
This is why Yashua said we must become like little babies. He is saying get rid of any knowledge you have learned so he can reteach you truth.
So back to trading, the market goes up and down like a yo yo, the more short term you watch it the more it seems it does. The same with life, because life is not a great joy 100% of the time, nor is it miserable 100% of the time. We must take the good with the bad, but keep the faith it is going to turn out well for us. And this can only happen if you are in the perfect will of God. The only way to be in his will is to know him and hear him or obey him.
Many think they are doing his will simply because they live and try to make good decisions based on what they learned, again from a bible and or men teachers, or worldly things like school. But this is the “dirty rags” God speaks of, you try to do your own works thinking they are good with him and they are not. Then because of the teachings from men teachers who tell your itching ear what you want to hear is it does not matter because you will never be perfect and you are saved by a fake grace doctrine they teach. This is the great lie, the great deception, do not follow it.
In order to walk by faith in Yashua and not be deceived by the devil. We must know the will of God. He tells us, but satan or the devil tries to cloth himself in light to confuse us, and he is really good at it. He comes in with the cares of the world and we listen to him instead of our Father who takes care of us. If satan wasn’t there would not be all these religious people thinking they are saved because of their religions. More than once I have had people argue with me about why the doctrine I follow is correct and the other denominations is wrong. They even tell me I have my own doctrine. It seems they cannot understand this simple little point, it is not my doctrine, I did not invent it or make it up. I only listen to the Lord teach me, and over the years I have learned when it is satans voice and when it is Yashuas. Always relating it back to the bible and the outcome or fruit I bear from it. If it turns into things that prosper me in all ways, personally, mentally, physically and financially. And it lines up with scripture, then it is obviously of God. If it does not line up with scripture and does not bear good fruit, then it is not of God and the devil has fooled you. This world today is full of fooled people, they see what is bad as good and what is good as bad, the opposite of what God sees it which again is why our works are dirty rags to him. Unless again you are doing his will of what he tells you to do, then it is good works. Either way we do works, good works and bad works and we are judged according to the works. Our results prove if we did our homework and did things right according to Yashua or not.
There is no better way to measure your work than trading or sports. Your success can be shown in numbers. Number of games won, points scored or points you let the opponent score. Championships… In investing it comes down to how much money you make. Are you one of the few that makes money trading, the 18% or are you one of the ones who loses money like the 82%? Or do you just stay away from it because you believe you will lose money like the 82% so why even try.
This is what Yashua was talking about in the parable of the talents and the guy who hide his one talent. Do not take it as I am saying we should all go out and learn to day trade. But at least put the money with the bankers and make a little money. The point of the teachings of Yashua is not about money it is about being the ones who do not learn anything and remain broke financially, mentally and mostly spiritually because they are lazy and just sit around doing nothing all day. Working simple little jobs to just get by and to make them feel like they are doing something, then complaining when nothing works out for them and they cannot pay the bills. They can afford the iPhone and big tv and fancy cars, but not to pay the rent or mortgage…
Do you get the point yet? It is not that God wants you to be rich and successful according to the world, if that was the goal then Yashua failed miserably. But God also does not want you to be poor and foolish. I have been both dirt poor in a lot of debt, and on the other side where I do not need to make money to live, like now. This day trading is not needed to pay the bills. And if I lose my $300 dollars it will not destroy us financially. But here is another point about all this for you to understand.
The $100 dollars I make daily trading on average which again is around 30% is more than enough to pay my ongoing expenses. I also have rental money coming in which is close to able to pay the bills. I am making this money when the market is going down because I am trading a fund that shorts the market, although I also played it to the upside once yesterday, and made money. You can make money going in both direction, you just need to know how to read the charts and see how it will play out 80% or 90% of the time. And then place the trades in faith it will happen like it did 80% of the time in the past. You lose some but you win more often and with much bigger profits than losses. If I would have stayed the course this morning instead of pulling out of the trade, I would have tripled my money today. As it is I am up about $100 dollars. I lost faith in my knowledge short term.
With that said, we are now treading above the two moving averages and above the gap we filled, so now the top of the range is the Bollinger bands, once we get up there I will take profit and still make over $300 dollars for the day, if it is like it should be and acts like it does 80% of the time. (In rereading this before posting I made over $500 for the day and it did reach the Bollinger band which went up as the price went up. Wish I would have stayed in it as it is up another $600 dollars since I sold, but I did it based on faith in the charts and what Yashua told me to do).
So here is a point God has made to me many times over. And he is using my life and results or fruits to show those of you who will listen, how he expects it to be done. Because my financial success is not what is important to me, it is the lessons I have learned in the success or fruit I have had that matter. I know the Lord God will feed me as he does the birds of the air. But this is the point of my life financially speaking to make a point you are poor by choice if you are poor.
I have started between 5 and 10 different business or ways to make money. Everyone of these was started from nothing and turned into 6 figure incomes. 15 plus years ago I moved to Mexico and started a new career selling real estate and marketing to US citizens which also turned into an income equal to my highest ever in the US. Most people think you cannot make good money in foreign countries like you can in the US. Most people do not think you can make money in stocks or options. Most people have bought into the system that we need to go to college and get a degree and go work for some big company. Pay into the system like social security. But what they do not understand is they are cooperating with the “world” and not the things of God. I am proof the “good works” you do create financial success in your life no matter where you live. You just have to figure out how to do it like the 18%, or in our case we are in the top 2% of wealth and income in the world statistics. I made all of this in the last 15 years actually as I came to Baja with $80,000 in debt. It is not always how much you make, it is more about how much you spend. I stopped spending money foolishly on cars and the newest phones…and started to invest it. Most of us, like how I used to be, try to borrow our way to prosperity, but it does not work, it is of the world, and the men who push this doctrine are reaping significant dollars from those who cooperate. Just look at what DOGE has found with corruption in the US, and that does not even begin to scratch the surface of the fraud and theft going on. Most of which they went against the constitution to set up and made it legal to screw us over.
The federal reserve is unconstitutional. Social security is also. The fed makes money out of thin air and then what happens to it? They keep it along with the interest you pay on it by personal loans like on your home or car or student loan. Or they rape us with running a HUGE national debt and taking trillions in interest on that debt. They create wars because they own most of the companies which profit from wars… The list goes on how they rip off the small guy.
What I am suggesting top you is a way to please God and at the same time get out of the system which pleases God. I have not paid into social security in over 10 years nor will ever again. With trading there is no social security tax, nor on my rental incomes. And most of it is tax free or taxed at a different rate.
So enough of the fruit I am bearing, which is not because I am special as many read things like this and think I am full of myself. It is the opposite, I have humbled myself to know I do not know nothing and need to learn it all from people, more so God who are much smarter than me. I listen to a lot of people and learn from both who does it right and those who fail. I implement the things of those who have success and see not to do those things which the unsuccessful people do. It is funny because people do the opposite, they follow the crowd of the 82% that end up losing and when you point out why they lose they get upset with you for trying to help them.
It is the same with God, those who are still in sin, get upset with me when I make the point they are following a fake god who never existed. This man they made up Jesus Christ never existed in name nor in who the true son of man was. They listen to their religious people and read their bible which has been changed many times over and come to a bad understanding of who they think god should be. And why they bear bad fruit, why Yahweh says your works are like dirty rags. The first sign that comes around which goes against them they retreat into hiding instead of facing the issue head on. And satan loves it. He loves to keep you in fear and hiding and doing everything the opposite of how God wants you to do it. His whole lie is about this, keep them focused on the world and not the things of God. Focused on their failures and not what the lesson is they need to learn to do it right next time. This is how satan works, and he accuses you of your short comings before God.
What Yashua does is the opposite, as long as you hear him and obey him he knows there will be short comings in your growth, this is the true grace. Not that Yashua expects you to remain in the place you are but that you are working and doing the good works and eventually you will have the outcome which supports the truth. Paul knew this and wrote about it, how he fell short and Yashua told him about his grace, but Paul also said I press on to achieve the goal and prize. And eventually he wrote he did run the race in a way where he did win the prize. But God hates a person who is lazy and does not even try, and he hates men who make up excuses for their laziness and failures because your failures are because of your laziness.
What Yashua loves is the man who stays the course and or doubles down on it when it gets tough. He gives wisdom and strength to you to fight through the short term issues. As an example and back to trading. The trade I am in now is above the moving averages and went a lot above, then dropped back down to test it. When it got down to the testing point I doubled up on my trade and it bounced and went up for me. My focus is on the top of the Bollinger band which I am very sure the price will hit before the days out. And the focus was not on the short term set back which was short lived. The devil wants you focused on the short term set back like that is going to persist and you will lose it all. When God has other plans and if you remain in the truth it will reverse and you will profit. Many times I have written about the teachings of Yashua on Psalms 23 where we must walk through the valley of the shadow of death to get to the other side, we all must do this, but few ever do. When the first sign of problems come they turn and walk away like the 5,000 men following Jesus in John chapter 6. He leads us through the valley but we do not want to follow and then we complain when things go bad for us when we are still living in the sinful world.
The only thing I can claim as something extremely significant which is above the majority of the people, is I did have the guts to listen to the Lord Yashua and do what he told me to do when it made no sense and was scary. Going against my flesh and having faith in Yashua and his “way” he showed me. He did lead me through the shadow of the valley of death and got to the other side and now reside high up on a hill side with amazing vision. I look down on the people in the valley yet where I once lived as well, seeing them suffer when they do not need to in the way they do because they do not listen to and obey the Lord. My fruit and works is good in the eyes of God, not because I am special but because the one who resides in me and tells me what to do is Good. I can only brag in the fact I listen and obey when very few others do. The rest of the fruit I bear which you think I am bragging about is actually all because of God and his perfect will. Doing the work necessary to bear the good fruit. The Lord works it in us which we must work out. Are you hearing him and obeying? That is our part.
So another thought or update and thought from God. I am watching the stock price jump around like crazy, one minute up and the next down. I did double up on it when it was down and might do it again. I could have taken a profit at $300 dollars in two days or 100% based on what I have invested, but did not this time because my focus is on the upper band which will give me in the neighborhood of a $500 gain in two days. My faith is in testing the band even though it shows some weakness. The point of Yashua in telling me this is to make the point of obedience once again. Obey in faith how things work even when they go against you short term. Because they will go against you from time to time, we take the good with the bad but in the end we win the prize.
Yashua is putting a verse on my mind, or more so a story about how the Hebrews did not take all of the land they should have in the promise land. They took a lot but not as much as they should have and God was mad at them for it. It is like that in this current trade I am in, I could take profit now and will make over $200 dollars on my $300 dollar investment or around 66%. And would have done well for the day. But he keeps it in front of me the final outcome needs to be all of it, take it all you have coming to you in faith it will happen. We are talking a few dollars, maybe an extra $100 so I double my money today, nothing to make me the next billionaire. So the point is not about the money. It is about faith in him and taking what he tells you to take.
Another point he is making to me is how most of you are sitting in 401ks or with a stock broker and losing money as this market is getting hit. And I know it is going to get hit hard again like last week and then I will make big money, maybe $1,000’s off my little $300 dollar investment in a day while those of you sitting in the 401k and brokerage accounts will lose a lot of money and either ignore it or have fear. Why is that? Because you have been educated by the world and live according to the world and suffer according to the world. Suffer financially, mentally, physically and mostly Spiritually. When those few of us who do it according to the Lord and what he has shown us over the years, we prosper, not without suffering and setbacks, but it is the setbacks which prosper us more, just like doubling down on my investment when it went against me. I am now up $250 dollars on the investment in just this trade, plus what I was up on the other trades today. Which is very good. But again if I had just made the investment and left it alone based on the charts, I would be a lot more, probably close to $500 dollars or more. The other interesting thing is the upper Bollinger band is rising which is normal as things go up, so also my close out price is rising which means a higher profit when it hits.
Yashua reminds me also with sports, no man makes 100% of his shots, stops the opponent from scoring 100% of the time. Sometimes he may miss the game winning shot or touchdown or goal to win. But a man with confidence persist and will win the prize in the end. The difference is your confidence in yourself? Or in God and his way when it makes no sense?
So a final update of the trading day. The price did hit the Bollinger band which kept moving higher. This one trade made me $500 dollars which based on a roughly $300 dollar investment using margin to control over $5,000 dollars. I almost made 200% on my investment. Many times I wanted to pull the trigger and take profit, but I remained in faith to what Yashua was telling me and to the charts and the trend. We are definitely in a down trend between a bad economy and layoffs, significant increases in business closings, plus the tariffs are killing the economy and world market. The last thing needed right now is to increase cost of living by 25% or more in tariffs when the economy already sucks. It is a no brainer the market is going down. In my mind it is like taking candy from a baby, only a few times in my life have I been this sure of the direction of the market and economy. And the other times were very profitable. As of this moment the market finally closed. It did go up a little from where I sold after it hit the Bollinger band, but it then went back down and finished lower than where I Sold. A good day of profits simply by obeying the system and not watching the short term fears of market turbulence. Up now $600 dollars in two days or about 200%. If I would invest at a higher amount we would be talking some serious money, but that is not the point or teaching. Focus on the message of Yashua.
I remain in the will of God by choice in all my ways. And he prospers me because of it. How much proof do you need from seeing how God works in my life to want to know him like this?
