“Pay attention to what you are hearing! The measure with which you measure out will be used to measure to you — and more besides! For anyone who has something will be given more; but from anyone who has nothing, even what he does have will be taken away.” Mark 4:24-25
Many times I have read the above verse, and many times God has taught me on it. Today was no different, but with a little twist. Because most of us assume it is speaking of money or maybe abilities. But it is universal (the word Yeshua told me). Meaning it applies to everything. Your money for sure, but also your abilities, your Spirituality, your family, your work…. Anything you can think of, it applies to it.
Over my lifetime there are many things I have done and did well, but lost the talent because of not using it. For example I used to play a lot of basketball and was pretty good, not Michael Jordan good obviously. Then around 40 I stopped, it used to be enjoyable, but it started hurting a lot physically and the younger kids were a pain literally. Arguing about everything thinking they were MJ, calling crazy fouls and arguing after they really fouled you. One day I had enough and walked off the court as I was just about ready to pop a guy in the mouth. I never played again, however I did coach kids after this, and would run with them but found myself lacking with the same abilities. For example my left hand did not work anymore, I could hardly dribble anymore. And my jumping ability was gone, although it diminished slowly every year. Also my shooting was not nearly as accurate.
The point is we use it or lose it.
Today I had a deep conversation with the young man who is hearing God speak. He is definitely on the right path, and understands a lot. We spoke about this exact thing, which part of it was because this morning when meditating it is what God was showing me.
I explained to him how The Lord would show me things in myself he expected me to change because it was things which were keeping me in sin. Some of them made no sense at the time, because for example one thing was to stop watching TV, especially sports. I know why now, but at the time it did not make sense. Things like TV and internet and radios or listening to music, these things shape your mind subconsciously while at the same time keeping you away from hearing the Lord’s voice. Many of you will not understand how o r why and think you are stronger than that mentally. But we are not. Keep in mind what Yeshua has shown to me many times. Our minds are like a computer, what you let in is what you believe is truth even when it is not. And this is why we need to be born again into the Spirit, and have a renewing of our mind, a transformation of who we are. Our minds are full of lies and trash because of what we allow into it over the years. We are dealing with it some now as we put the kids back into school this year and their attitudes are changing, especially the two girls who are older. We just do NOT understand how the people around us affect us, either for the good if they are followers of Yeshua, or the bad if they are not. And that does not even matter how good we see a person, if they are not in Yeshua, then they have thoughts that are NOT of God no matter how biblical or religious they are. And many times we suffer from the same issues as the Pharisees do which is their religious doctrine not being the truth and of Yeshua.
One example I spoke of that the Lord showed me this morning is how we view love, and how it flows out with religious beliefs. Because a lot of “christian” religions push it is OK to be gay and accepted in their church because God is love and he does not judge them so why would we? And if you do not let them in your church you are not of God because you are judging them, while you yourself are still a sinner also.
They make a good argument because most church systems have sinners throughout, they do not teach repentance and transformation and sanctification. Being born again. They tell you these things happen in a fake way where you still do them but now because you did something like a sinner’s prayer, God no longer sees it. However God still sees the sin of the gay person???? Pretty hypocritical I’d say, and explains exactly what Yeshua is teaching in the above verse.
But this is the truth, the truth which sets you free. God does not accept your sin and ignore others because of what you deem acceptable or not. It is easy to condemn another man who maybe killed a man, or is gay, and then you still go out getting drunk, abusing people, are manipulative… But we think our sins are OK with God, however the other ones are not.
This is a lie straight from hell. No sin is acceptable to God and anyone practicing sin is not welcome into the Kingdom. We must allow the Son of God, Yeshua his power and hear him and obey unto righteousness. Little by little he cleanses us until we are clean. Yeshua shows us what we are doing wrong and how to do it right. That is if you allow him to. Which is the point of being cleansed and then when clean, you can receive the Spirit and be born again. Whether you allow God to do this or you ignore God in this process, it is the judgment.
No man is perfect, we have all fallen short of his glory (that is his perfect ways). But we are to repent of this and do the good works he created us to do, and the only way to do this is by hearing and obeying him. His light came into the world, but man liked their darkness more than his perfect light and ignored it or worse because many of you call the workings of the Holy Spirit (the light) an evil spirit because you do not like the light showing you how you are wrong. And your religion tells you it is an evil spirit because the Spirit of God would never do such a thing as he is Love.
But his love is much different, because his love does show you the best way to live a meaningful and life of purpose, a perfect life according to his way. A life the religious people will ridicule and attack the same way they attacked Yeshua and said he had an evil Spirit and did his works by bezubel. But then who are you trying to please? The religious people or the Lord? Who has the last judgment, the religious people or Yeshua?
Today the young man and myself discussed dreams as he has had a few recently just like mine. Normally he only remembers a few seconds of the dream, which is the same as me, and that part has a message for us. And I told him of one that supports what I am saying, which is one night God showed me being naked standing before the throne of the Father. It was HUGE! And I saw myself get up on his lap, curl up like a little baby and started to suck my thumb.
Later the Lord showed me the meaning of it which is I had done the work he showed me to do and cleansed myself in his blood. And was now ready to receive the Holy Spirit. I did go through one more HUGE test and fought the good fight and won that fight, and shortly after the Holy Spirit was given to me.
I had believed the lie of the church system telling me you are born again when you say the sinners prayer, so it was a bit of a shock the way I felt when it happened for real. I know the difference between this fake religious doctrine telling us lies we believe so we do not move forward with God. And what really happens to those who seek him and hear him and obey him until he makes us righteous.
Read the 2 y 3rd chapters of Revelations, and see how Yeshua tells John how the “church system” is wrong, except in most of the churches there are a few who have done the work and washed themselves clean and put on their wedding garments. And many other verses which tell us to be “Holy as he is Holy!”
One other thing the Lord showed me was Martha and Mary and how we are. We all think we need to be serving people and taking care of their needs, instead of sitting at the feet of Yeshua and listening to him. But we should be choosing the better thing which is listening to Yeshua and at his feet. But the people choose to serve the other people instead and never hear from him. And then serve the other people in their own ways and not the way of the Lord, because they cannot as they do not know him and his perfect ways.
