Wisdom is calling! As for you, you fools, get some common sense. Wisdom was appointed before the world, before the start, before the earth’s beginnings. Proverbs 8:1 y 5 y 23
The Lord was showing me many things in regards to wisdom this morning, many past experiences and in most cases big trials. He used sports and reminded me of how I played football and basketball. And even though I was normally smaller, slower and not as strong as the other guys. I always performed better than them. Even with guys who played division 1.
For example, the Lord brought back to memory how I played against a younger kid who had to be 7 foot tall, and quicker than me. And how I used to school him. Simple wisdom would tell you that if you are 7 food tall and the guy guardian you is only 6’2, one would post up every play. But he didn’t.
He reminded me about football in college, and how when I went to the four year school. They brought me in as a linebacker, but had a lot of depth there and no backup for defensive end. So they asked to move me and I did. The two defensive ends were returning starters. To make a long story short, a few games into the season I was starting in front of a guy who was about 6’5 and 230 Lbs, and probably faster than me, and a year more experience. But he did not play with wisdom, I did. I understood the game, how to read my keys to be in the right place at the right time. I was slower getting there, but I got there, he didn’t because he had no wisdom, no vision.
As an example in my first scrimmage with this team, they put me in. The first play was a pass play and I came around the corner full speed to run through the offensive tackle. I hit him as hard as I could and it almost knocked me on my but and he did not move. A big old farm boy, and strong. The next play was a pass play again, and I ran around the corner like I was going to hit him again, but at the last second, I side stepped him and sacked the quarterback. It took one play to get a little wisdom to know I would never move this big guy, but that he did not have the same foot speed as me or agility.
Another example when playing in junior college, one team ran a spread offense and mostly passed. The few times they ran the ball, they would audible. It took me only a few snaps to know when they were audibleing into a run, so I would move up to the line off scrimmage to stop the run. Simple wisdom. Because of my wisdom and understanding my coach gave me freedom to do whatever I thought was best. To make changes on the field as needed. To blitz when I wanted to or drop in coverage as I wanted to.
I can give a lot of examples of how wisdom helped me both in playing and coaching sports. It took ordinary players and made them great players, while others struggled because they lacked wisdom and their coaches lacked it also in many cases.
In life it is similar, and maybe more so. And we seem to think a college education is how you gain wisdom and that wisdom and knowledge are the same thing. They are night and day differences. Man taught knowledge will actually take you away from wisdom. A man with knowledge will never understand simple wisdom and they keep making the same mistakes over and over. They get so stuck in their beliefs they will never even try to think differently. And they think they are smarter than a man with wisdom, which in most cases they are smarter, but being smarter yet without wisdom is a dangerous thing for these people.
Two men come to mind, the one who sued me and his worker who threatened me with my life. The mand who sued us has a degree in engineering according to him. Supposedly really smart. But here is a man who is 65 has very little money to show for himself and because of this lawsuit and what he spent on the condo which should have been his, he will lose almost everything he had. According to him he had $400,000 in the condo, he will get back about $150,000 according to my best guess. Why he put $100’s of thousands into a property he did not own, and then decided to keep his contract for a piece of land instead of changing it for a new contract on his condo unit is about as stupid as it gets. Then to make him even more stupid, he offered for me to give him the $400,000 and he would move out. I accepted and then he immediately renege and did so in a haughty evil way.
On my end I did nothing with it, I just am allowing the Lord to settle it for me. The Lord told me “vengeance is mine says the Lord, I will repay!” I have a lot of wisdom, because I trust the Lord like this and let him do what he is going to do and let me reap the benefits when he is done. And learn the lessons he is teaching me, both in myself (like understanding really quick I cannot run through a big old tackle and instead ran around him). And in other people when i see someone like this guy just keep doing stupid things, costing himself and others peace, and losing a lot of money. Being an engineer for all those years he should be worth millions, yet he will have around $150,000 when done. And deservingly so.
I look at wisdom in the medical field, and how the doctors have a lot of knowledge, bad information which they then prescribe drugs to try to relieve symptoms. Instead of understanding or using wisdom to know, changing your diet and lifestyle would actually fix the problem instead of masking it. I have given many examples of this, including myself and my dad. My dad who before coming here was in and out of the hospital, on many meds, which did nothing to reduce his blood pressure or fix his health conditions. After coming here he is off almost all his meds and has no blood pressure issues anymore. No minor strokes and no hospitalization.
So please tell me why I should listen to a doctor with his knowledge who is never going to heal a person, instead of the wisdom of God who will heal you when you do the right things? Why would I want to be responsible for the suffering a doctor causes people because they follow their knowledge instead of wisdom, because the Lord God will judge them accordingly. Even if they did it because of a lack of understanding. The reason they have the lack of understanding is they do not seek for the wisdom, because wisdom calls out in the streets and the people ignore it. It is available for everyone. And your judgment of eternal hell is going to be because of you not seeking it and lack of it. Wisdom does its works in the LOrd, a lack of wisdom and a worldly knowledge make you do things opposite of the good works you were created to do.
I thank God I was terrible in school and had bad grads. I look at my siblings who did well in school and their outcomes. For example with my sister who helps for the care of my dad and his money. She sort of sees it, a bit anyway. Because she cannot argue with the results of my dad. Yet she still pushes the agenda at times. Thinking we need to see doctors.
The latest is my dads PSI test was a bit high, she wanted me to take him to a doctor. But I said “why?” I would not put him on any medication like they would expect. And I will try some natural things first. She agreed, but she always wants to run to the doctor for everything, including in their own life. Her and her husband have a few health issues, I am 2 years older and none. But I do not run to the doctor and do all their crazy test which normally is the cause of the problems. When I find iout something is not good, like my recent liver test showing signs of early onset of liver fat. I did not go on any meds or run to a doctor. I simply made a few changes, fasted for 2 days and on my recheck it was back to normal.
Most people would out of fear run to a doctor and do whatever they were told to do. They seek knowledge which is corrupt instead of wisdom which heals. The same thing happens with religion and the wisdom of God which comes from his Spirit. It keeps you sick and broke.
A perfect example is a church I went to when first here in Baja. The preacher told the people not to do any business and laughed about how many taco stands there are. I am not saying you should open a taco stand, but there are taco stands always full and making a lot of money. The point is we should be opening businesses and not working 9 to 5 to make someone else wealthy. But do so with wisdom.
I can think of about 5 ways to make good money here in Baja. I would love to do all of them, but then I decide not to because we have enough and do not need the headaches and extra work which takes us away from our free time. I love my time alone with God and do not want to sacrifice it to make some extra money and wealth. And I want to spend as much with my wife as possible also, enjoying her and my kids. So what would be the purpose of doing anything new at this time? Plus people are getting mean and greedy, and the governments are making it almost impossible to do business. I do not need to deal with either party so why do it and potentially lose my soul? What would it gain me if I gained the whole world? Or at least more wealth?
But on the other hand if I was a young man starting out and trying to find a way to make some money. I sure would not work 9 – 5, and I would start one of these businesses. Or maybe really study to learn the game of day trading. I actually have done some day trading over the years, and with success. But the Lord keeps me out of it for some reason? And I obey and do not do it.
The point however is there are ways to make money and more money than the people with the big college education. And have more free time and pay a lot less in taxes. The other thing with a 9-5 job is how you store up your wealth, which is normally in Social Security income, pensions, 401ks. Things which can and are being taken. Not taken from the standpoint of theft, but because of inflation and the reset the government is doing, you will have the same amount of money, but it will not buy you much. For example with Venezuela, they had 3,000 inflation. So an apple costing $1 today will cost $3,000 next year. If you had $100,000 making 5% interest or $5,000 a year. So one year you can buy 5,000 apples, next year not even two. You still have the same money, but it does not matter, you are basically now poor.
That is a little bit extreme, and I do not think it will get that bad in the USA, at least not soon. But the same results just on a smaller level. So if it cost 50 times more, now you get 100 apples from the same money.
However if you own businesses and a ranch producing the apples and selling them. It does not bother you.
This is the difference in wisdom and knowledge. Knowledge keeps you poor and unhealthy and weak. Wisdom makes you the opposite. And the funny thing is the ones with knowledge always look down on the ones with wisdom, thinking we are stupid. I will take my form of stupidity over theirs anyday. Because it also saves your soul, where knowledge does not.
