“Why, you are abolishing fear of God and hindering prayer to him! Your iniquity is teaching you how to speak, and deceit is your language of choice. Your own mouth condemns you, not I; your own lips testify against you. Job 15:4-6
The thing that jumped out to me this morning is not a new message, but once again a reminder of what is truly important to God and how you will be judged. Your own lips will testify against you, or in your favor if you are right with God. If the things coming from your lips are the things God shows you in his righteousness. Then the testament is for your favor. If, however, the words from our lips are about your own evil desires and or gossip. It testifies against your acceptance into heaven.
Adonai created the entire world and solar system we live in with words. The tongue is wicked and evil, and like a little rudder on a big ship it can turn the whole thing.
As important as your words are your actions or works. Your works testify in your favor or against you depending on if those works are of God in obedience to what he tells you to do. Or against you if you do your own evil works (works most think are good works but in the eyes of God are not).
This life is so messed up compared to how God expects it to be, everyday the Lord shows me more and more things that are completely the opposite of how it should be. The main things are seriously bad like our wealth and health, and mostly things about God and what men teachers tell us God wants and what God really wants. Men teachers always incorporate human feelings into the equation and do things and tell us to do things in a way so as to not offend others. We should always be agreeable and accepting.
But the truth is not acceptable and agreeable. Truth is truth, it hurts to hear when you are wrong. And this again is why people ignore the light, which then condemns them. They do not want to hear how they are wrong, and really believe they are right and a good guy.
For example, a few my dad has told me over the years. The first one is how he was proud to have sent us to catholic school. To me knowing what I know today, why would he feed me to the evil one and his evil doctrine like he did? The second was about how many kids he helped over the years. And in a way he did help them as a teacher and coach. But again, was the help worldly or Godly? Because in sports it helps your “self confidence” or ego. Yeshua said blessed are the poor in spirit, blessed are the meek and humble, not the strong in themselves.
Yes it is great to live a better life than the weak person who turns to drugs because they are so weak and have no value in life. To give them a purpose. But the problem is it gives you the wrong doctrine and wrong purpose. A doctrine and purpose the opposite of Gods. The focus is on the better life here in this short time we live, and not on eternal life. The things he taught are not of God, but of the world and it keeps people out of the Kingdom of God. And at this point in his life after having a stroke and not being able to really understand too much anymore, it is impossible to try to get him to understand the truth, I have tried.
Many reading this probably will not understand what I am saying, we see success in life as success in the ways of God. And to a point it is true, but not really. There is a BIG difference to self confidence and Godly confidence. If your confidence is in the things God shows you to do, and you do them and see the success. It is amazing and good, perfect with God. But if your works are of your own, then you produce self confidence which is evil in the eyes of God.
God does not want us growing strong in Spirit and with an ego. He wants us growing strong in his ways, his Spirit and reaping the excellent results from them. When you do this and have great results, you also know you cannot take the honor from those works, you must give them back to God as it is because of him you did so well. It glorifies God, not you.
Everything I write is to glorify God, and the good he brought into my life by hearing and obeying him. Not to glorify myself. Yet many see it the opposite, that I am showing how great my life is and what I accomplished in it like I did it on my own and I am someone special.
In the eyes of God I am someone special because I only do what he tells me to do. All his children who are only the ones who did the same as me, died unto themselves and live for the Messiah. Hearing his truth and only doing his truth. Doing all their works in the way of the Lord.
Can’t you see the glory and praise is to God, it is all because of him? I cannot take the glory for his perfect way to live my life. Although I do get to live in the peace and good things he does in my life. It is because of him and not me. And anyone in this world can have the same “IF” you will simply stop living your own way and see the truth and way in the Lord, then listen to his voice and do what he says to do. Then you also will be special in the eyes of God, and be one of his children. A part of the true church of the Messiah and will dress yourself in white and be a part of the bride of the Messiah.
If not, your words and your actions will judge you to the lake of fire, no matter how good the people in this world think you are.
