They were broken off because of their lack of trust. However, you keep your place only because of your trust. So don’t be arrogant; on the contrary, be terrified! Romans 11:21-22
Be terrified? What is interesting is how God shows me the people with their religious beliefs and their arrogance in them. This weekend in the church my wife goes to, a man was there shaking his head and disagreeing with outspoken words against the message. The message was spot on, making it about knowing God and obeying him and his commands. But this guy kept making the same few points over and over. Mostly about being saved by grace. And we have a lawyer in Jesus. And we all sin and always will. The normal arguments of a man in the flesh.
The message from the preacher was about obeying God, which is a part of being terrified or fearing God. No one fears a man or God he does not obey.
God put two things in my mind about this. The first one is “do not fear man who can kill you but cannot put your soul in hell. Instead fear God who cannot only kill you but put your soul in hell.” Yeshua is telling you to fear him, the Lord Father God, Adonai!
Which is the judgment, do you hear and obey the light of God or not? If you truly fear God, because you know him like I do, and this preacher is getting there quickly. And the reason I have been going back to this church. When you know God, you know his authority in the lives of everyone. And that it is simple for salvation. Hear him and obey him. And it is easy to go to hell, ignore God and his light and do NOT obey him.
The second thing the Lord put on my mind was the parable of the wine skins, and how you do not put new wine in old wine skins or the wine skins will tear. YOu must p;ut new wine in new wine skins. I never really paid attention to this parable, nor understood it much, but in a flash today it hit me as to what Yeshua was really saying. Which is you cannot put the light of the Spirit of God into an old man in the flesh. It is not possible for them to understand, and it will destroy them. You must put the good news of the Lord, the truth he will reveal to you if you are chosen. Into the new man in the Lord. You must be born again into the Spirit.
A man in the flesh playing religion like the guy in church this weekend, cannot comprehend the things of the Spirit, and if he tried without dying unto himself to be born again, well it simply cannot be done.
You will know them by their fruits. I can tell when a man is religious and when a man is in the Spirit and seeking truth. The men in the flesh bearing bad fruit always bring up twisted doctrine to support their sinful lives, and try to make it OK with God. They have their own covenant they made up and pretend like God is OK with it and goes along with it. Like they get to make up the terms of the relationship, and tell Jesus how to do it, what the “way” is instead of the other way around.
But Yeshua is the WAY, not them and their way.
Two other things Yeshua reminded me of was first of all that I was raised catholic and practiced it for about 45 years until I died unto myself. Now looking at their religious beliefs and knowing the bible well, it amazes me how I thought I was good enough to get into heaven in that religion. With all its idols and adulterous ways.
Then I became a “christian” and same thing. But here is the point or question to contemplate. As a “christian” no one is going to say the catholic teaching is OK. They all see the evil in the teaching. Yet they do not see it in their own. I remember a lady who was later day saints and she told how the catholic church was the whore riding on the back of the beast. And it is, no question. At the time I was still a catholic, and just shrugged it off. But the point is she knew being catholic was not the way, but could not see her religion also was not the way.
This brings me into the second point which the Lord has had me write about many times, and that is how many times the scripture has been changed, and new doctrine taught. How even before the disciple John died they were already doing evil things, even Paul wrote about certain people in the “church” doing evil things and to get rid of them. This is the real “church” not a fake one. And this is a very different message than today, where most churches tell us to come as we are, you are welcome in their church system.
No man is welcome in the true church of Yeshua unless he is born again and working out what the Lord is working in. Any man choosing to remain in the flesh is not going to overcome and is not a part of the true church.
I got off track a little bit. But to get back on it and keep it short as it is discussed in detail many times before. The first real change came from the Greeks around the year 300 AD, and killing off many of the born again Messians, who would not follow their doctrine. This is when they changed the name of Yeshua to Jesus Christ and called the followers christians instead of Messians.
Over all the years to follow they had many meetings like the Nicene and each time changing doctrine. Every new pope changes doctrine. But the real big changes came in the past 300 or so years. First with redoing the bible in the 1700’s and then 3 men coming in the late 1800’s, one pushing grace doctrine, one Jehovah witness and the other later day saints. And as always the main point of God is how do the people believe any of these doctrines? If they were really from God and preached by Paul and Peter and the other Apostles, then what happened for 1800 years until these 3 men came onto the scene with this new doctrine? Very different from before. And all three of these men have very different doctrines from the other 2, so what makes the one you might choose to follow the truth?
What we need to come to understand is everything we have around us is a lie. All of it is fake. My wife was just reading to me a list of lawsuits against companies putting stuff in products we buy that cause cancer. Some were really interesting like Starbucks putting something in the coffee to give you cancer. Why? Coffee needs nothing, it does not spoil sitting on the shelf. Another interesting one was Johnson’s baby powder. All were interesting actually. But the question is how we went 6000 years without problems, and now we have to put all these things in our food and products we put on our body.
All of it is fake and designed to make us sick and or kill us, all the while keeping us broke and away from God. And the people fall for it and do not even see it? It is worse than ever, but has always been the case as Paul restated this in verse 8 “God has given them a spirit of dullness — eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear, right down to the present day.”
The question is how do we not see? For 45 years I did not see, and now I see and hear and am amazed at myself for being so dull in my spirit to not see and hear it. It is so obvious all these lies. Many people are waking up to many of the lies of these politicians and their food we eat and the drugs they give us, and vaccines. 2,020 woke up a lot of people. But they did not wake up to the truth and die unto themselves so they were born again and see all truth! They woke up to a few lies and now see those. So why is it so hard to see all truth and know Yeshua?
Because you cannot put new wine into old wine skins lest they burst. And the men do not want to die in order to be born again. As Yeshua said, unless a seed falls to the ground and dies, it cannot spring up and produce fruit, 30, 60, 100 fold… We do not let ourselves fall anymore these days. We accept our conditions in life as normal and all the church people rally around you to support you in your dysfunction instead of telling the truth so the people repent and turn from their ways and are healed. They hate a guy like me because when the people come seeking sympathy and help of some sort, I give them none. How am I going to give sympathy when I know they brought it upon themselves? And I also know if they are truly born again and suffering it is of the Lord, and he has a purpose. But then anyone like that will not come to anyone else seeking sympathy. I don’t. I might discuss my troubles with others, but never to seek sympathy, it is more to seek for solutions or tell fellow believers so they might learn more of how God works. The purpose of the church gathering is for this purpose. For one or two to get up and tell what Yeshua showed them in the dark and reveal it in the light. This is what this means. If the Lord has you going through some tough things, he has you in the dark to teach you something. Tell it in the light so others learn from what you are going through but also sometimes someone might have a message for you from God or may have been through the same thing and has some wisdom to share. But NEVER go to anyone looking for sympathy.
