For it was through letting the Torah speak for itself that I died to its traditional legalistic misinterpretation, so that I might live in direct relationship with God. I do not reject God’s gracious gift; for if the way in which one attains righteousness is through legalism, then the Messiah’s death was pointless. Galatians 2:19,20
These verses are always misquoted as saying we will always sin and Yeshua died for us so we are forgiven and can keep sinning without any problems. The religious people categorize things into either legalism or fake grace, but never discuss the two together and how it works. In verse 17 Paul writes “But if, in seeking to be declared righteous by God through our union with the Messiah, we ourselves are indeed found to be sinners, then is the Messiah an aider and abettor of sin? Heaven forbid!”
This is why people and men teachers get things wrong. They ignore the part where it says things like in union with the messiah. And living in direct relationship with God. It amazes me that we do not see these things and know we must know God. No where does it say the bible is how he speaks to us, as a matter of fact Paul is telling us how the Jews took scripture and twisted it into a “traditional legalistic misinterpretation.” That practice is still happening these days. We really do not want to know what God wants for us and how he expects us to live so we are Holy like him. We want a god who is weak an d needs us to tell him how to do things, and is so co-dependent that he allows us into heaven no matter what our works are.
Many have a form of godliness but deny him his power, because they do read their bible and do some of the things listed so they are more moral than those who do not read and try to live by the bible. But what amazes me is how out of one side of their mouth they say they are saved by grace and my sins are OK, but at the same time they try to live according to the law, or in legalism which they claim is not of God. They also throw in a few of their own legalistic things you must do like go to their church, say a sinners prayer, read your bible or whatever else. These are legalistic things, commands the men teachers tell you to do which have nothing to do with God.
In the second chapter of Galatians, Paul is telling the people exactly how wrong they are for trying to do this. Instead they need to be in union (or one) with the Lord Yeshua. This is to hear him and obey him, and in doing so he will make you Holy.
Paul also wrote in verse 4 “some men who pretended to be brothers had been sneaked in — they came in surreptitiously to spy out the freedom we have in the Messiah Yeshua, so that they might enslave us.” Out of one side of the mouth of the religious doctrinal leaders we call preachers, teachers and priest or fathers, or whatever. We talk about freedom in “christ.” But christ never lived, the messiah did, and his real message is much different, unlike anything any of the churches teach. The teaching no matter which religious doctrine you want to follow leaves you in bondage of sin. You do not see it that way, but it is true. The jews also told Yeshua they were not slaves when he told them they were, and that a son remains with the Father where a slave does not.
Men remain a slave to sin and commit sin because they do not know and obey Yeshua who can set them free. They also do not believe that a man can remain sin free, and will do everything possible to discredit a Holy Man, the same they did with Yeshua, even telling him he had an evil spirit, and by doing so called the Holy Spirit an evil Spirit which is the unpardonable sin.
I see things play out when people do not want to know God and obey. They live in their religious lies and think everything is OK, and ignore their works. They think their men teachers who sneak in the windows or other ways other than the front gate and lead the people. They do not look at their works nor do they know exactly what the Lord expects for good works. Many have potty mouths, are demeaning and demanding. And if you do not do things their way, instead of the Lords. They will attack you.
I have talked about many people in my life who cause me problems including my wife. She fits this exactly, she does her church thing and then controls things and demands things and uses demeaning words to try to control me and the kids. And when you won’t let her, she gets even more upset calling you names. She will not argue she is a hothead (horno) and I am the calm one, but she does not want to change in the Messiah to overcome her tendencies. She has even threatened to leave me, which I personally am more than OK with, it would answer some prayers of what I am supposed to do. The way she treats me at times I would be happy if she left. Especially after the past few weeks and things she is doing that puts a lot of stress on me, then calling me stupid. The funny thing is with recently reading the book of Proverbs and how it speaks of what fools do and what the wise do in Adonai. And with what Yeshua said about judging, because calling someone stupid is a judgment. That way you judge it will be measured back to you. In other words, what you call another person is who you are.
On one hand I am tired of being beaten down so that she feels superior in her mind. Not that I believe in her lies, I am way too strong in the Lord. But it sucks. It also sucks how she constantly is trying to get approval from men, mainly me. Like if I do not tell her every 10 minutes how beautiful and sexy she is, I am not appreciative of her.
I watch and it is not just my wife, it is by far most of the women. This women’s lib has messed many things up, the women love facebook and instagram and other social media where they can post pictures showing how great they and their family is, and many flirt with other men in doing so. All to get appraisal of men like they will die without it.
If you look at my facebook page, it is full of posts like this that I write, or important things to know about the governments, men in power, how to live health… I do not post pictures of myself and seek approval of men. If approval of men was important I certainly would not post what I write because it does not sit well with most. I do it to please God, the same God who then sets me and keeps me free from sin and in his righteousness.
