Run the race to win the Prize!

Moshe was 120 years old when he died, with eyes undimmed and vigor undiminished. Deuteronomy 34:7

Today the Lord had put on my mind to fight the good fight, but in all ways of my life.  Including physically.  The two things for certain in life are death and taxes.  You cannot defeat death, nor would I personally want to.  As said many times a big part of me wants to go see the Lord and not deal with the craziness of this world and what the people are doing in this world to make it crazy.

If we look at the problems they say we have, like climate change, lack of water and food, war, logistic problems, high inflation and gas prices…  They are all man made problems, all of them.  And can be fixed easily, but not without some serious changes in the lives of the people and not without losing or giving up somethings.

First thing is climate change, I really do not see any evidence there is a problem.  We do have a pollution problem which they tie in with climate change, but is the climate changing?  If we look at the shore line there is no evidence the ocean is rising.  They point to melting icebergs, which over the past few years they have been gaining again.  If we look at the temperature, it is cyclical but stays within a normal range…  There are a few exceptions to these rules, for example cities are getting hotter, but why?  Could it be because of no trees and plants to soak in the heat, but instead hot cement and blacktop everywhere?

When we go to Guerro, it is hot.  But I notice a big difference in temp when you are around trees instead of on the sand and beach with no trees.  When we are in southern states like we went to Chiapas last year.  It is hot in the valleys and by the ocean, but when we were up in the mountains, especially by the border with Guatemala and these 5 lakes, it was actually cold and we needed jackets.   And up there, there was plenty of water and no issues with pollution.

In the middle of Baja they do not have pollution issues or sewer being dumped into the ocean like here in North Baja and Tijuana.  And no issues with water, they have plenty even with it being a desert, and they grow a lot of food.

The point is we are the ones who ruin it with man’s ideas.  Many times I have talked about the jobs and factories and office work and how it is not good.  We have a fake economy we are all told we need to cooperate in.  So we work to provide and the governments (or really the men in control of the governments) take a big chunk of your money in taxes so you cannot make ends meet.  And the more you make the more they take both in dollars and as a percentage.

But here is the thing, what do we really need?  Water, food and a place to lay our head.  The way the Lord Yeshua lived showed us this.  He never starved to death, always had water to live, and he laid his head wherever.  Now most of us, including me, do not want to just wander around and sleep wherever.  But I do see where we need to get back to the way things were 50 or 100 years ago where we had 50% of the people living on farms, and most of the rest of the people with gardens and not manicured lawns or living in the cities with no lawns.

Our water issues can also be solved easily, if everyone just tanked up the rain water into a storage system from their roof when it rained instead of letting it run onto the ground and eventually run down to the ocean, we would have no problems.  And if we all had a septic tank for our sewer , we would not have run off into the ocean.  But this would also require most to move out of the cities, or at least out of the big condo towers in the cities.

The people do not see the problems coming for themselves who live in the cities and work for corporate America.  They are feeling the pain as statistics tell us around 50% are maxed out on credit cards, tapping into 401ks to make ends meet.  Going without meals, not making even minimum payments on credit cards and other debit.  Losing cars because of not making payments…  But here is the thing, do we need the brand new fancy cars these people have?  And live in these big homes and condos and apartments they cannot afford?

We can easily move to the rural places and buy a good sized piece of land, grow most of our own food, set up the rain capturing system for water.  Start a little side business to make a little money to pay property taxes and buy the little extra food you would need.

For example my wife can sew clothes, can things, she makes excellent salsas and is a great cook.  Me on the other hand I am a very good salesman, always been one of the top in my business no matter where or what I sold.  But that is playing into the world, and the system.  Because we really do not need salesmen, we do not need realtors.  AI and robots and the internet can replace all of what I can do.  But it really cannot replace my wife’s abilities.  And in the end we could easily live off of one of our ranches, with doing some of these extra things spoken about, or a combination of all of them.  But we do NOT need the system unless we make making a lot of money the priority.

But money, what’s it for?  Why do we chase after it and let these men make rules and laws and tax us for stuff God gave us for free?  We put ourselves into bondage to the system to become rich and successful.  And for what?  So the men can change a few more laws, or start another war to take even more of our wealth we worked hard for?  It does not do anything for us to get into heaven, it is not the rich who enter into the Kingdom, it is the obedient.

So back to the main point, what is this life really about?  Because we put the focus on the wrong things, success and money and power.  We think entertainment is great, being able to travel, and watch TV or sports.  Go to happy hour with friends, or to a water park…

It is interesting to me because my kids like the simplest things the most.  Going to the beach, riding their bikes in the park with friends…  All free things that don’t cost a penny.  For some reason as we get older we have to do things that cost money to have fun, and most of them are not good things, bad for our mental and physical health.  And cause pollution and worldly problems, like lack of food and water and affordable housing.

So back to the verse, and what is important.  Because Yeshua was telling me a couple of points to tie into this, and the reason why speaking of a simpler life.  Which is summed up in another verse of fighting the good fight, and running the race in such a way as to win the prize.  Speaking of Moses above, note how when he died at 120 years old, he was still in perfect condition, bright eyed and bushy tailed.  He died not because he got old and weak and just could not live anymore.  He died because Adonai said it was his time.  And we think it was a serious punishment to not enter into the promised land but only seeing it from the mountain, but was it?

As I read through the books of MOses, the one thing that keeps coming out is how unruly the people were, always demanding and complaining.  Something I have written about with my dealings with the people who invested in the condos with me.  None want to pay on time their HOA’s so I am usually paying things out of my pocket trying to get the money back later.  No one does a thing, which somethings they cant do because they are not strong enough like putting salt into the softener.  But many things they can do but don’t.  Instead they just complain and expect me to take care of it, and then fight them for the money to pay for things like the salt later, or expect me to pay for their part like I am made of money or the government and can just print money.

What I deal with is nothing compared to what Moses dealth with, but because of the similarities, I see what God did to Moses as a blessing not a punishment.  He did not die a hard death and he did not have to put up with these people anymore.  But instead entered into the Kingdom of Heaven.  We know this for sure because Moses was one of the two who was on the mount with Yeshua.

As a side note, I have heard people say that the devil came after Moses’ death and asked for his soul, saying because he disobeyed he was satans.  BUT, it is not biblical so not sure where they got that information from, nor do I care.  It is not about if or if not something like that happened.  It makes no difference one way or the other.  It is just another thing to take our eyes off of the Lord and get caught up in silly arguments.

Back to the good fight and Moses’ death.  Our own death and health.  We cannot win the fight against dying, we will all die for sure.  BUT we can win the fight against dying a hard death like cancer or like my dad having a stroke.  Because one of the other problems with cooperating with the world is our physical health, it suffers when we eat the trash they created.  But it requires removing yourself from that world and becoming more self-sufficient and not relying on the government who screws you little by little, making you sicker, killing some, stealing wealth and making your mind sick.

Interestingly my neighbor who fell and got hurt just got home yesterday, and his wife told me how they had him all drugged up and her words, they were killing him.  She said most of the people who went into this place died.  So she took him out.  I know the system killed most of the covid patients, not covid itself.  There is all kinds of proof if you look for it, yet most people still believe the lie and defend the system.  I say go ahead, keep living in the system, the way you live, what you believe both government wise and religion wise.  It is your choice, but I do not cooperate.  I no longer am working hard, making a lot of money, paying a lot of taxes so that the government can pay for your free health insurance, for illegal people, for your free food stamps…

It is always interesting to me how the ones who follow the system are the ones who are dependent on it, and do nothing but complain and demand more from it, while men like me work hard, do not need anything from it and are the ones footing the bill.  No different than Adonai and Moses times.

Last point, kind of a different message, about salvation.  Yeshua made the point again about how you will be like your teacher.  You will believe what you let into your head over and over and over.  satan knows this and keeps telling you over and over and over the lies he has you believe.  And the Lord Yeshua remains silent, waiting for you to knock on his door.  He does not come selling himself to you, he has men like me, his true disciples try to sell you on him.   He has told me before, he was going to make me a salesman to men about him.  The problem is no one wants to listen, we want to keep believing the lie even with all the evidence it is not working out so well for them, they do not see it.  And they do not hear, which is the main thing or point Yeshua was making.

Yeshua said “very few find it” which is the Kingdom of Heaven, but why?  Because of what was posted yesterday, “His sheep hear His voice and follow him.”  There is no other way to the Father or Heaven except through him.  Which requires we hear him and obey him.  No man can fix themselves by studying really hard, or by self works, trying to live out what they read.  It is too easy for satan to enter into the equation and twist the information so you believe the lie, and ignore the fruit you are bearing.  We do works based on how satan puts a twist on it thinking it is of God when it is not.  Somehow the Israelites believed they could worship idols and other peoples god’s and not have any problems with Adonai, even though Adonai told them over and over do not do that or I will destroy you.

How can that happen?  Maybe with the first group of people who might have thought, how will Adonai find out?  Or maybe they thought the other god was real and would defend them?  I have no other idea why they would do something like that?  But after it happened to a group, Adonai killed the ones who did it, and saw it happen as he sees everything.  One would think the next group would NEVER do anything like it.  Yet the men they were around convinced them to try again.

And even today, a few church systems have men believing in a false god or worshipping idols, Mary and saints.  While thinking their godly beliefs will save them.

Again, the main point of the Lord and fighting the good fight is simple.  If you are not hearing him and obeying him you have nothing with him no matter how religious you are and what you believe.  Your beliefs will put you in the fire burning with sulfur and not in heaven.  You cannot be good enough on your own works, this is the point Paul was making.  You must die unto yourself and hear Yeshua and obey him so you do the good works you were created to do.  With all your works in Yeshua your new teacher, if you choose to believe in him and obey him.  Because there is no believing in him without obeying him, the two things go together.
