The guilt of us all!

by | Mar 31, 2026 | Yashua Speaks

But he was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises we are healed. We all, like sheep, went astray; we turned, each one, to his own way; yet Adonai laid on him the guilt of all of us.  Isaiah 53:5-6

This is one of those verses we can easily manipulate into believing what we want to believe.  The lie about how Yeshua took it all so now we are OK with Adonai and do not have to do anything different.  No repentance, nothing.

It is true we all have turned away, to our own things, we are born into a world where it is like that.  We must at some point repent and be reborn into the Spirit in order to have what Yeshua did on the cross into working out in us our salvation.  We must turn from our own ways and to the good works Adonai created us to do.  This is all done through hearing and obeying the Lord, there is no other way.

It seems lately a day does not go by that shows me just how evil man is.  Most are not all the way there, most just have their moments.  They want everything from you because most are selfish and normally do not want to do much to give back.  They expect a lot from others without expecting anything from themselves.

But there are the few who are all the way there.  Men who have molested and raped young girls and boys.  Kill them and drink their blood.  Are planning how to take everything from us normal people and control us in all our movements. These men are a son of their god satan, a liar and murderer from the beginning.  Thank God I do not know any of these men personally, but I have been around a few fairly close to this.

As an example, yesterday my wife confronted her dad about what he had done to her and the family.  How he was not around much, normally chasing other women.  But when he was around he was drunk and abusive in all ways.  He even put my wife in the hospital once and stabbed her mom with a knife.

Yet when she confronted him, he twisted the story and made himself the victim instead of the main problem.  And he denied he did anything to my wife or the other kids.  Maybe he was just too drunk to remember any of those times, but I doubt it.

But here is the point, if the story is true about this man Jesus did it all on the cross and all you have to do is say a sinners prayer, then this man is in heaven, because he did go to church for a little while and did say the special prayer, yet he still lives his life of sin.  Now costing the family a lot of money and time for care because of the way he abused his body with alcohol and smoking and drinking coke all day everyday, amongst other unhealthy sinful activities.  Yet according to them he is going to heaven.

The question is does this sound like what you want heaven to be full of?  I don’t.  It is bad enough to put up with it in this lifetime, but I definitely do not want to deal with it in the next one.

Unlike men like this guy, I have repented, stopped doing the sins I did and confessed them.  I seeked forgiveness from everyone I harmed because of my sinful actions.

Yesterday I was thinking back to who I was and how I went to bars and drank heavily, and had women flirting with me and me with them.  I remember my potty mouth.  I also did some evil things in the eyes of God, but interestingly not that evil in man’s eyes because most people do what I did.

I never crossed over the line this man did and abused my older girls, I was not drunk in front of them doing stupid things.  I did not leave my family without food or shelter.  But I was still evil in many ways.  My best friend at the time used to tell me how we were good fathers, but knowing what I know now, I do not think so.

This is the point, where do you draw the line with sin and what is OK and what is not in order to be saved?

Well, the scriptures tell us in John 3:19-21 “Now this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, but people loved the darkness rather than the light. Why? Because their actions were wicked.  For everyone who does evil things hates the light and avoids it, so that his actions won’t be exposed.  But everyone who does what is true comes to the light, so that all may see that his actions are accomplished through God.”

This verse tells us clearly that a sinners prayer will not work.  When we read all of chapter 3 it is clear we need to be born again and what it looks like and then how God will judge us all.  And it is simple, did you allow the light to show you your darkness and then repent and not do it anymore?  Or did you hide in the darkness (like not admitting your shortcomings and sin and making it all the other person’s fault?)

It takes a strong man to fess up and make the changes.  It takes a strong man to give up your rights to yourself and allow the Spirit of God to have his way with you, making the changes necessary to become the man God expects us to be.  Unless your works are righteous and are of God, you will NOT enter into the Kingdom of God and heaven.

I cannot articulate the feelings of how this man, my father in law will die soon, and how I do not care, and in a way look forward to it.  The pain in my wife because of him and the mood she comes home in after taking care of him, not to mention the time lost from her family, spending it with the kids and myself.  There is nothing good coming out of it to keep him alive.  He has been in the hospital many times to have his lungs drained of fluid, and he is on an oxygen machine which keeps him alive for now, but barely.  He also broke his hip after falling a few months back and is basically in bed all day everyday.  He has no life and no reason to live, other than his next life will be even worse.

These are the things we do not look at, we do not care when we get drunk again and beat the wife and kids, and molest them.  Smoking one cigarette after another.  Destroying our health and family, causing major problems for some of the kids mentally.  My wife has grown a ton since we first met and got married, but her siblings, not so much.

We also do not understand the cost of time to care for our parents when they do these things to themselves, like me even with caring for my dad.  My dad does not take much of my time, but it still costs me.  And before he cost the system millions of dollars in health care, just like my father in law is costing now.

And for what?  Because neither man is going to get healthy again and live a normal life.  They both ruined their lives and neither has repented and neither will be in heaven.

But that is the way of God, he shows us righteousness and tells us the way to go, and if we listen he makes sure these things do not happen to us.  Adonai would never tell us to smoke cigarettes and get drunk all the time, eat trash and molest our kids…  The sin is what led to the condition our dads are now in.  It is not by bad luck, it is because of choices they made.

I make my decisions and choices in God, the only righteous way to live.  I have been healed by his stripes, but you cannot claim this if you are not healed like the examples given.
