“Here’s what the work of God is: to trust in the one he sent!” John 6:29
It is one thing to say you trust in the work Yeshua did on the cross and it is finished so I can live my life anyway I want with freedom to sin. And another to understand what this verse is saying or more importantly what Yeshua is saying. To sum it up, we already have many times. Hear and obey.
You cannot say you trust in someone if you do not do what they tell you to do. If you want to make the bible your “word” as if it is speaking to you and you do not need to hear Yeshua. Then how are you trusting in the one he sent? Are you not trusting in the bible written about all of the history with God and men? But even then are you obeying the written “word?” or coming up with your own doctrine so you do not have to obey and become Holy as he is Holy?
The Lord spends a great deal of time showing me the truth, and then the lies of the whore church system. And the two are very different doctrines. If you want to believe the lie, the great deception it is your deal, between you and God. BUT, I am telling you exactly what Yeshua is showing me, which simply is if you do not hear him and obey him, he cannot make you Holy as he is Holy, and you will not be acceptable to the Father. We must trust in the one the Father God, Adonai sent and do what he says.
If you ignore Yeshua, you are ignoring the light and wisdom which came into the world and that is the judgment or condemnation. I know Yeshua speaks to me and will to anyone who will listen and then do as he tells you. If you love me keep my commands. These two statements are written in John also, chapter 3:19-21 and 14:15.
If you read the bible and hear the Holy Spirit teaching you about it, then you will know that the word of God is Yeshua and not the twisted rewritten bible that then is twisted more by men teachers. That is not keeping the commands of Yeshua nor is it trusting the one the Father sent. It is trusting in your bible and men who tell you what your itching ears want to hear.
As said earlier, your salvation is not my deal, if you chose to ignore these messages and stay in your sin, when the light of God, the Son is sitting at the door waiting for you to open and let him in. The door he is waiting behind is not the one of the bible and religious adulterious men telling you how or what to believe in. If you chose them over Yeshua you will go the same place they are going, And it is not heaven.
Only those who hear the Lord’s voice and follow him are saved. See John chapter 10.
